I PROPRIETARI semplicemente MERAVIGLIOSI😀 GRAZIE per averci dato un punto di ristoro in cui la pausa pranzo diventa un momento di relax. Un locale molto accogliente e ben organizzato con servizio abbastanza veloce. Tutto questo lo trovi solo al Now Cafe Catania 😃

31/07/2025: Breakfast with cappuccino and brioche. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed. Parking is a bit of a hassle, as there are limited spaces available during rush hour.

15/05/2025: I think they should think about what they say! I go in the morning to see for the first time what they did in gastronomy and together with my girlfriend we book 4 arancini for the evening, (saying and specifying that it was the first time we went there) and paying €1.50 each they don't tell us that they were small and that it wasn't the hot table that they usually make in Sicily nice and big! In the evening I go to get the arancini on time?! But as soon as my turn comes and I see those tiny things, I say that I would have expected at least medium pieces but not croquettes, and the person with a lot of sarcasm who is behind the counter, answers me that they are arancini and that they do it like that! I mean, no I'm joking but they were Palermo croquettes!!!! I'm from Catania and honestly the word Arancini/o/e has a whole other meaning!! Anyway, ok, you do them like this, but at least warn the person who has never been there and who comes to order and tells you that it's the first time they've come!!!! And try to be more humble, but evidently with all the people who come there, you too have become that way or have you always been?! Ps: don't let certain grumpy people stand behind the counter, because when I said that they seemed like Palermo croquettes to me, he answered me in a way that I didn't throw the tray at him out of respect for eating!!! I only gave an example, because I'm from Catania, but there's no need to offend another city just for an example!!! And if he says that those are arancini then I think that in Catania he has only eaten at your place!!! Because ARANCINI are with a capital A and not little things!!! Have a good evening

Generous portions, fair prices, a lovely terrace setting, and fast, helpful service. This is the third time I've been here with my girlfriend, and we've always had a great time. Highly recommended. The food was absolutely delicious—prepared with simple, high-quality ingredients and fresh local produce. 29/03/2025: Ho trovato il mio bicchiere sporco di rossetto e maleodorante... può capitare? Certo! Peccato però che anche tutti i restanti bicchieri del tavolo puzzavano di odori diversi e anche le stoviglie erano sporche. Il cibo non è stato di mio gradimento (polled pork) in quanto l'unica cosa che si apprezzava del piatto era il peperoncino.

14/07/2025: A cute place, located on a small street near Nicolosi. The service is good, and the food is decent, although the portions are quite small for the aperitif.

22/08/2025: Fast service, generous portions, reasonable prices (a main course with side dish is €8, arancini for €2), and excellent quality products. This is evidenced by the large number of locals who order takeout. The place is clean and well-organized. There's no table service, but for a deli, it's more than adequate.

17/08/2025: One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Let's start with the fact that we ordered two burgers, and after a few minutes they came back saying there was only one bun left and they could only make one of the two. We were the first ones there, no one was there, so how come they were already sold out and they didn't know? The only burger that arrived had cheddar, and it wasn't listed on the menu. The mixed roast meatballs all tasted the same, and no one came to tell us which one was which, including the horse meatball, which we couldn't tell you which one was which. The mixed sauce meatballs were also all the same, aggravated by the consistency of reinforced concrete, and could only be distinguished by the sauces, which were good (except the pistachio one, which had a strange taste), but when put together they were a jumble of flavors. And then there was the extremely high price. Stay away; if you want well-made meatballs, go to Via Plebiscito.

15/06/2025: Mi esposa, yo y otra pareja fuimos aquí el sábado por la noche. El restaurante estaba lleno de lugareños, todos riendo y comiendo. La comida es fantástica! Tomé el ragu de conejo tagliatelle, las chuletas de cerdo, la salchicha. Gran vino. Increíbles postres. La parte más maravillosa de la comida fue cuando nuestro Uber canceló en nosotros y el propietario se ofreció a llevarnos 15 minutos a nuestro hotel. Nunca olvidaremos este acto de bondad y ahora anhelo esas chuletas de cerdo.

24/05/2025: Il ristorante ha un’atmosfera calda, accogliente e curata. La musica di sottofondo perfetta per gustare in tranquillità dei cibi cucinati con cura. Non ci sono fronzoli, ma tutto quello che fa per me un buon ristorante: cibo genuino, piatti tradizionali cucinati in maniera originale ma preservando il gusto di ciascun ingrediente, personale gentile e professionale. Consigliatissimo per altri mille motivi che non sto qui a raccontare, ma ci tornerò.

07/08/2025: The place is nice, but the prices are higher than average for the same area of Catania, and the portions are small. The waiters are courteous and attentive.

08/09/2025: A delightful place, with attention to every detail, excellent cuisine but exorbitant prices (e.g., 4 euro cover charge per person) and very little availability or kindness from the chef or owner.

15/08/2025: Every time I go to Sicily, this is a must-see. The meat and everything else is excellent, the quality is excellent. The owner and all his employees are very kind, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere isn't exactly "chic," it's very basic, but if you want to eat well and spend little, this is the place to go.
