22/03/2026: I don't recommend this place. They made fun of us over the bill. They charged us €55 for a wine instead of €35. I asked the waiter the price before he opened it, and he actually told me €35. They didn't show me a wine list, so the price was stated verbally. When we paid the bill, the owner claimed the waiter, who was a regular for the evening, had made the mistake. Despite our complaints, they still charged us €55. Which, by the way, is not worth €55 at all (checked prices online, not even with the restaurant markup). We tried to explain that if we'd known they were charging €55, we wouldn't have bought it. He insists it's the waiter's fault, that he should charge us €35 and ask the waiter for the additional €20. But he doesn't, and he doesn't even offer to help us with the price. The next day, we pass by. The owner sees us from a distance and comes over, thinking he was trying to apologize. Instead, he reiterates that it's the waiter's fault, that he should ask him for the difference, but that the register is closed and he can't give it to us (a ridiculous excuse). Not only that, he tells us that they have a "wine cellar worth €40,000" (do they think we believe that?!), that fifteen euros (editor's note: he can't subtract, it's 20) is nothing. He basically called us poor people who complain about twenty euros, no apology, no refund, not even a free coffee. It's clear they play these games with tourists. Shame on you. Too bad, the food is good. But with all the tourism, they're always crowded, and no scruples. I've read similar reviews; it's probably a bit of a habit, cheating customers.

24/10/2025: Affollato nel periodo estivo ma sempre ottimo come ristorante. Ottima anche la pizza cotta nel forno a Legna. Abbiamo aspettato perché c'era molta confusione, ma ne è valsa la pena.

13/02/2026: The food was very tasty. I reccoment it for sure. The problem is that I felt as if the waiter took advantage of us. For a table of 5 the check came to 500+ euros. We ate some fish of the day and asked the waiter to suggest an appetiser before the fish. He brought a lot of food. Everything that was on the table was food for 10 people not 5, we couldn't eat half of it. I don't think they messed with the items on the check but it felt being taken advantage of.

09/02/2026: Excellent food, slightly overpriced... we waited over an hour for the first courses. They told you they'd offer sorbet to apologize, and then you see the receipt saying hot tea is €5 each. They bring you the focaccia and charge you for it... No comments

03/02/2026: Today we bought some pastries here, including some baskets of strawberries and cream, which we had to eat without the strawberries because they were completely rotten. We thought about contacting them to report the issue, but first a woman and then a gentleman hung up on us very rudely, DESPITE HAVE SPECIFIED FROM THE GETTING STARTED THAT WE DIDN'T WANT A REFUND OR ANYTHING BUT JUST TO MAKE IT KNOWN, and they just hung up on us. So, terrible staff, terrible customer service, and a decent pastry shop... they've been doing it since 1973, and they don't understand how to treat customers. I don't recommend!!! Today we bought some pastries here. Among them were some baskets of strawberries and cream, which we had to eat without the strawberries because they were completely rotten. 15/02/2026: Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The owner was rude and impolite toward customers. Just because we were slightly moving the tables, she reacted in an exaggerated and unprofessional manner, creating a truly unpleasant situation. Furthermore, table service is not provided without a receipt, a fact that wasn't clearly explained. Overall, the customer service leaves much to be desired. I won't be returning.

15/02/2026: Negative experience with the owner's welcoming and customer service. Nine of us went, and since there were no free tables, we noticed three small tables in a small recess near the bathrooms. Since one table was in front of the bathroom door, we were trying to move it to a spot away from the door and the smells coming from the bathrooms. The owner, in an arrogant tone and calling out to all the diners, told us that the tables shouldn't be moved and that if we wanted to, we had to wait for them to become free and then sit at separate tables. I reiterated that, due to hygiene regulations, the table can't be in front of the bathroom door, leaving customers to eat while also smelling the smells of those who went to the bathroom. Despite this, she urged us, in a tone that wasn't nice or friendly, to find other solutions, humiliating us and attracting the attention of all the customers. I will never return to this establishment again, nor will I recommend any of my acquaintances (of whom there are quite a few) to do so as long as the establishment is managed by people who lack courtesy and friendliness towards customers.

18/10/2025: Lack of seriousness and fairness, they lost my order leaving me and my guests without the hot food booked the day before and with the deposit given.

06/01/2026: Tried it on Christmas Day... Honestly, I've lost the desire to return. The appetizer was good, but the two first courses (a rabbit ragù that actually tasted like tomato pasta) and orecchiette with fava beans (it was a green cream with an indefinite flavor) and the second course (roast pork that tasted like a turkey breast from the deli counter, reheated badly) were all very poor quality: we didn't have a bad experience, but we would have expected something more. As for the ambiance, it was in line with the food.

28/12/2025: We had lunch here as part of an organized tour of Caltagirone. Despite the fact that there were over 100 of us, service was managed promptly. The staff were available to answer any questions and try to accommodate every request. The owner was a wonderful person, helpful, kind, and approachable. We truly had a great lunch! I recommend it and will definitely be back!

28/12/2025: The worst place I've ever been in my life Dirty glasses Bagged cured meats from the worst suppliers 2 flavorless first courses described as pistachio pasta, but hopefully it was with cheese. To top it off, arrogant waiters. We're seated and can't wait to leave.

28/02/2026: Terrible location, foul odor. The veranda they offer almost looks like a storage room, with cheap, rough, and poorly maintained concrete flooring. Food was left on the table completely uncovered while waiting for an order. We went in and immediately left, never again!!

14/02/2026: Today 14/02/26 my friends and I went to see Inter Juve at the pub, when we celebrated the 2-2 goal they turned off the TV because they said we were making a mess, but excuse me, what should a person do when they score or when they concede a goal? Excuse me, thanks to the TV being turned off we couldn't watch the whole match, unfortunately you can't vote zero stars
