12/04/2025: Very good location for visiting the rock steps, friendly staff. Clean showers and toilets with paper. Shuttle service to the beach. Some great views. Access seems more difficult than it actually is. Difficult for very long motorhomes over 7.50 m. For €20 all inclusive, very fair price. What can be annoying is van drivers who often open the sliding door and forget that sliding doors can also close quietly. Especially at night and early in the morning.

29/01/2025: Given that we were in the camper in December so we didn't have any parking problems. Upon arrival we were welcomed and all the services offered by the rest area were explained in detail, which we found clean and functional. The shuttle service is also excellent as it avoids having to go down and back up from the beach to the area. The Scala dei Turchi is a spectacle of nature and must absolutely be seen!

07/10/2024: Caluceddi flavored arancino very good 10 cum laude with little breading it's a lot of stuff but the rest leaves something to be desired last day of closure 5th October...then reopens later

26/08/2024: Yesterday I was there the food was excellent but the staff needs to be more competent not to treat the customer like a rag and even snort because he had forgotten 2 arancini and to tell his colleague (she's out of her mind) naturally then the discussion got a bit heated but even going out I think it was the owner of the place and almost raising his hands but it's disgusting and then taking the tray and putting down everything we had taken because there were 6 of us......but it's one disgusting😡😡😡 but calm down or hire someone who can treat the customer with more politeness.

22/03/2025: Excellent place run by polite, helpful and competent people: Roberto and Rosario, the chefs who have nothing to envy those of the restaurants; Maria Grazia and Daniele at the front office, always smiling and kind even after a day of hard work and above all with a clientele that is not always polite. I had the catering for my husband's sixtieth birthday party with them and all the guests complimented me 💓 From pizza for lunch and dinner, to lunch and dinner for every event, to the desserts prepared by them for breakfast. Excellent service.

27/03/2025: We had dinner on a Thursday in March. There were only locals; we were the only foreigners. We had mussels, octopus, and calamari for dinner, which were excellent. Then we had pasta alla bongole and Nero di sepia, which were both excellent. Two bottles of wine were included. There were four of us. The price was 35 euros per person.

10/03/2025: Old restaurant, mediocre food without infamy and without praise, I wouldn't go back, even on the bill I'm not convinced I paid without arguing but my bill was rounded up, the only positive note were the guys in the room in fact I even left a tip... in any case it's better not to go into details

20/01/2025: Il locale non è grandissimo, ma sfruttato al massimo, per un pasto al volo è perfetto. Accoglienza fantastica, come in famiglia, ma quello che mi ha sorpreso davvero è la varietà delle portate (anche opzioni vegetariane), nonché della qualità, tutto fresco. Assolutamente consigliato.

08/12/2024: Embarrassed by the choice due to the variety offered by the place in question. The pizzas, cooked in a wood-fired oven, are of a high standard. The diner is among the best in the area. The fried foods, on the other hand, are unquestionably the best in San Giovanni La Punta. Normal prices and excellent quality.

16/11/2024: Mediocre pizzas, terrible Sicilian ones, all swollen with bread dough and completely empty. I don't recommend.

25/11/2024: Average food, unfortunately the dessert arrived with a razor clam each and the coffee arrived cold, which is a shame because the location is interesting

07/10/2024: Excellent value for money. Simple room, comfortable bedding, quiet and efficient air conditioning, small fridge, TV, shower room with bidet... everything is there. Perfect location and very beautiful view of the sea on one side, and Etna on the other. The environment is magnificent: lemon trees, flowers and olive trees as far as the eye can see. The only downside for the ground floor rooms is that there are no windows that can be opened at night, just 2 doors with fixed glass. The owner of the place puts his hand in the kitchen, which is very welcome after a day of discovery.
