05/03/2026: I'm addicted to sweets and I've had croissants in Rome, Milan, Venice and a short distance from France, but I didn't expect to find the best one in Catania at the crossroads. I've never experienced so much filling, so go for it. Here you'll pay 3.5e for one, here 1.5e or 2e depending on the tourist tax. Don't just take one because you'll be back right away anyway, so take two straight away. You'll be there again tomorrow anyway. Classic Italian coffee 🤘

06/08/2026: We had a truly excellent experience at the Tube. The sea view was truly beautiful, and the food was FANTASTIC, especially the portions.
The service was excellent; the staff were friendly, polite, and respectful. The cocktails were also very good.
We had a wonderful experience with the cart that took us around Aci Castello.
Everything was delicious. We'll be back very soon!
05/08/2026: We made a reservation at 9:00 PM, but when we got there, the lady told us we had to wait. We asked if a table was free and she said no, so we decided to look for another place, but when she heard us, she said, "But she can't wait five minutes. You called five seconds ago." (The call was at 8:26 PM.) The lady who hadn't respected our reservation time later decided to give us a rude answer: when we told her we hadn't called five seconds ago, she replied, "Did you go out to lecture us?" Disappointing service; we couldn't even eat there.

19/10/2025: A lovely bar right on the seafront, we walked to it from the sports field where the students were playing a game. It was well-stocked and the staff were friendly.
27/09/2025: After a long morning walk, my wife and I, in need of refreshment, our eyes fell on a sign with a curious and at the same time hopeful name of good things "bar alchimia". What a result? Excellent choice, a cozy and very cute little environment, not to mention the owner, very friendly and welcoming, who offered us a type of pasta we had never eaten before, based on brioche dough with custard (there were different types of variations) of unique deliciousness. I felt it was necessary to report it on Google.

07/08/2026: A day at the beach at this lido, and on a scorching hot day, there's no air conditioning in the dining room, not even a ceiling fan. Truly appalling. No interest or concern for customers or staff! And let's not even mention the pool lifeguard sleeping on a pillow, facing away.

Update: I realized they cook with vegetable oil, and vegetable oil is toxic. I haven't been there in a year and won't be going again.

29/10/2025: I personally wouldn't order this pizza again. The pizza dough needs rethinking... so tough I had trouble even cutting it. The ingredients... didn't satisfy me. I ordered the one with porcini mushrooms... but I wasn't very happy with it.
I don't think it'll be a good list to share with friends, at least not for pizza.

04/07/2026: Coffee spot in the city of Mascalucia it’s also a Tabasco kiosk and lunch place (aperitivo, etc). Really good Italian cappuccino. Ok service. Not very good English, but you manage to communicate. Pastries were nice but not amazing. Service to the table or at the bar. Cheap prices.
