The number 6 had strawberry cream, topped with cream and strawberries, the number 0 had lemon cream and topped with cream and strawberries... Delicious! And what about the ricotta and chocolate cannoli? A delicacy! Thanks for the success of the evening.
26/02/2026: I had a cannoli (made fresh, of course). The shell was handmade, of excellent quality, and the ricotta was excellent—one of the best I've ever had. A tip for the staff: healthy doesn't cost much.

01/03/2026: Normal food but everything proceeds at a frightening slowness, at the table from 1.30pm, it's 3.35pm and they still have only brought the appetizer, and it's not that there were a very high number of customers... Choose this place only if you want to spend an entire Sunday sitting at a table.
22/02/2026: I'm giving it two stars because it was a real scam. Two pizzas, two drinks, and an appetizer (which contained two cured meats and nothing else) for €70. A bizarre character at the cash register first asked for the bill, then later asked for the receipt back. I don't know why. Maybe he thought it wasn't enough and wanted to add something else? 😂
Only positive note: the waiters were kind. The food was good, but nothing special. You can find better, FAIRLY priced options ELSEWHERE. NOT RECOMMENDED.

21/03/2026: A hidden gem near Etna. An exceptional and authentic restaurant with warm and welcoming staff. The food was phenomenal. Fresh mussels, fragrant bread, seafood linguine, and scampi. The swordfish was perfectly prepared, as was the fried calamari and salad. The dessert was divine and I absolutely must have the recipe. We also purchased delicious prosciutto and top-quality baked goods for our trip. The staff is very attentive. You feel truly welcome. "A Maidda" is one of the best restaurants in the area. Warmth, intense flavors, simply wonderful. A place where you don't just eat, you feel truly welcome. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality and exceptional food. We are from Germany.

16/03/2026: The cookies are very tasty, although they didn't have much flavor, just concentrated sugar syrup. We wanted to sit down and eat a cookie, when I asked for one, they handed me the mousse cookies one by one on a napkin. I asked for a plate to go with it, but they just pointed me to sit down. It was very difficult to find a plastic plate and a fork for the two of us for the three cookies. The staff was not nice either, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

21/02/2026: The food ordered was tasty, they had large portions.
I give 1 mark to the service because we asked for a table for 3 people, including a child, and although there were enough free tables inside, they sat us outside even though it was quite cold. Some waiters don't know English, and if you don't speak Italian they are very rushed and don't give you any explanations. We asked for the bill to pay, we left the money on the table and then they shouted for us to come and pay!!!

23/01/2026: The staff were very helpful, and the owner's wife was very kind when she greeted us. We had two hot chocolates, one spicy and one cinnamon-flavored, both excellent. If you're looking for a refined and relaxing atmosphere, I highly recommend it.

05/03/2026: I didn't think water had become a luxury item! Paying €7 for a tea seems a bit excessive! €5 for the drink and a €2 cover charge... besides, the people I was with didn't even consume anything.
03/01/2026: Beautiful and super welcoming place, delicious food, excellent service with a super friendly waitress.
I'll definitely be back.

18/11/2025: A very welcoming place where you can enjoy a little bit of everything. I went for an aperitivo, and the cocktail was really good, but the variety of bites left a bit to be desired, as they only offered mini-cartridges with sausages or ham. The staff was also inexperienced, causing a bit of confusion when delivering the cocktails. Overall, a positive experience.

01/01/2026: Very bad experience. Booked a pizza for 25 people, including 7 children. Long wait between the first and last pizzas. In my opinion, children should be served first. Prices a bit high. Brought a panettone from outside, in agreement with the owner, to serve it. Charged for a service charge of 46 euros more than the cost of the panettone. In the end, they also charged for two coffees and two liqueurs. These are people who have known the place for thirty years; we're not talking about people just passing through.
26/10/2025: We went with a group of friends, and it was just us in the place.
Not a great experience, and it came at a high price!

However, I would point out the uncontrolled screaming of kids in the dining room.
The bathroom door was always open for kids.
No warnings were issued for the constant disturbance.
We couldn't wait to leave.
I strongly advise against staying on these occasions.
