I migliori ristoranti di cucina italiana in Sicilia

12/11/2024: Whilst a very similar menu to all the other restaurants nearby we quite liked this place. Its hard to find quality restaurants in Giardina Naxos as most places have more of a a cafe like feel. I had a veal chop and partner fillet steak with porcini sauce. Whilst perfectly acceptable and tasty it did lack a little bit of finesse , guess I'm used to quality city restaurants, its nice to eat more rustically now and again and this fits the bill perfectly !

18/09/2024: Sehr gut besuchtes Lokal in italienisch/sizilianischen Stil. Freundlicher Service, und sehr gutes Essen. Die Portionen sind absolut ok. Die Involtini di melanzane (Auberginen-Röllchen) sind ein Kracher. Für den roten Hauswein gibts von mir leichten Abzug, aber das ist mein subjektiver Eindruck. Die Bestuhlung ist eng, entsprechend hoch ist der Lärmpegel, aber hey… wir sind hier im tiefen Süden. Alles in allen war wir sehr zufrieden

05/04/2025: This is a drinks/cocktail bar just outside the old historical centre of Catania. Always busy in the evening especially at weekends. Good selection of wine and a few non Italian draft beers. Trendy with a nice atmosphere. Serves snacks.

16/01/2025: Very well looked after. I stayed there in the winter so I couldn't see the beauty of this place in the summer. But it was magical all the same. Breathtaking view, excellent service even though we were perhaps the only customers of the structure. Very varied breakfast, including gluten free and various vegetable and lactose free options. Impeccable cleanliness. I would definitely go back in good weather.

27/10/2024: Welcoming and helpful staff. Family room a little small but with shaded terrace and very clean. Daily housekeeping with great attention. Clean swimming pool. Very varied and plentiful breakfast. A few minutes from the Zingaro nature reserve.

16/03/2025: Very high quality/price ratio. Good service. Unfortunately, reservations cannot be made on Saturday evenings. Exceptional Cuddiruni.

09/03/2025: I was made fun of by the pizza chef. I had asked for a pizza with added gorgonzola, to take away. Before leaving the place, I check the pizza and notice the absence of gorgonzola. I go back and ask if they had put it there or not. They pretend to take a quick look at the pizza and tell me "yes, the gorgonzola is there, we put it underneath". Needless to say, that's not true. Why make fun of me? Wasn't it easier to admit the oversight and add it later? I had gone back to point out the absence. Just add it and that's it. I paid full price for the pizza, and I wanted to take home the pizza I ordered, not the pizza they chose, because they didn't want to work!! The previous evening, I had ordered take-away pizzas with friends and, even there, there were missing ingredients, but, on that occasion, I gave up. Not honest at all. Disappointed.

09/04/2025: Piccolo locale con menù con prodotti locali. Niente di estremamente memorabile. 2.50€ di coperto ingiustificato. Non penso torneremo

30/03/2025: Osteria carinissima, cibo eccellente.. fresco , sublime al palato!! Cortesia e gentilezza sono le parole d’ordine di questa fantastica locanda! Ambiente molto familiare, curato e pulito. Il digestivo all’alloro di produzione familiare… un vero elisir di lunga vita!!! Una piacevole scoperta alla quale far spesso ritorno.😋 CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!!🔝🔝🔝

16/11/2024: The service was very very good, but unfortunately the bill was very high for what we had eaten. My dish mentioned a side of fries and salad, I literally had 1 leaf of salad. We found it expensive. But it was the only restaurant open in the area. But the staff is very nice!

04/11/2024: The best restaurant in Taormina, the delicious empanadas, the first class meat, the flan with dulce de leche, a delicacy!!!! Very good prices. Gourmet food at an excellent price. I totally recommend it.

23/03/2025: Fixed fish-based menu, from starters to first courses and second courses, all very good. The quality-price and quantity ratio is certainly excellent. All crowned at the end by a good bitter offered. If I really have to make an observation I would make it about the lack of coffee, a choice due to their policy. I would add a good coffee, even made with a nice mocha, with perhaps an almond cake, which would make the lunch or dinner truly complete and completely satisfying for everyone.

03/03/2025: We made a reservation and ate for lunch before flying back. Very good quality/price ratio... A simple restaurant with a fixed menu, plentiful dishes and excellent taste in our opinion. Between one course and another the owner Mimmo was very friendly and nice.
