12/02/2025: Going beyond my personal preferences, I recommend everything on the menu: there is nothing that isn't objectively good. Everything excellent, always. Staff and environment alike. Very quiet music, and specifically even at a low volume (personally, being able to talk to those at the table with me is important - but today restaurants often drown out voices with too loud music). Another important thing: the prices are normal for high-end restaurants like this; Nonetheless, the portions are fair and plentiful.

22/11/2024: Arredamento del locale antiquato. Ho scelto la tempura come antipasto, ma era una banale frittura in pastella. Ci propongono e presentano una spigola x 2. Il pesce torna nei nostri 2 piatti in pezzetti in ordine sparso. In un ristorante con un minimo di pretese il maitre torna col pesce cotto, lo pulisce davanti i commensali e depone i filetti INTERI nei piatti. Dessert insignifante.

26/01/2025: A bar for locals, we ate there twice, the antipasti was amazing, although there was little cheese, the 4-cheese pizza was unfortunately dry and tasteless, another day, the Pennette Diavola pasta was the best I've ever eaten, the Margarita pizza was delicious, the pancake with characters was delicious, the Tiramisu dessert was a surprise because it was ice cream. Overall, a great Sicilian atmosphere, a very nice waitress with short hair who welcomed us very nicely on our second visit, generally very good prices low. It's a pity that we had to go back.

28/03/2025: I went to this bar and had a gluten-free cannoli and two gluten-free arancini, one with ragù and one with mozzarella and ham. Absolutely recommended especially for those who need to eat gluten-free in the area!

28/03/2025: the seafood dish was reasonably good but the quality/price ratio was not honest, I paid €10 for a meager dish with nothing inside, the octopus was reasonably good, the prawns tasted of nothing and the squid was equally decent.

28/03/2025: I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures, but the lack of taste in every dish can’t be caught in an image. It was the worst in Sicily and the most expensive at the same time. It was maybe the only place in Sicily that was out of vongole and common fishes everywhere in the area. The octopus grilled had no grilled consistency nor taste, but seemed boiled ‘ no salt and pepper’. The beef tagliata was dry, no juice, the prawn pasta was bad as well. It was the most expensive dinner in our holiday but it would’ve been just fine if the food was good. Let’s say our taste was the problem…. But the bread they brought us had mixed slices, some, at the bottom, were at least 2 days old. That is unacceptable for restaurant with such prices. To be fair, the antipasto, caponata, melanzana were ok, but nothing extraordinary.

15/03/2025: This was recommended by our tour guide. Clearly had two pricing schemes: one for locals and one for tourists. The pasta was completely average. The fish? €82 and we were not told the price prior to purchase. Don’t eat here. Go to a better restaurant like Chiodo or Bistrot 18 instead.

16/03/2025: Everything perfect! From appetizer to dessert. The wild vegetable stew is highly recommended.

05/03/2025: Dissilision. An establishment which could be interesting but which visibly sets its prices at the customer's expense. 125 € for 2 antipasti + 5 pasta dishes + 2 bt water - 1/4 wine and coffee?!?!? Really overkill for this type of establishment. + the final service is really below all! Never again and I won't send anyone there. Playing the One Shot rather than building customer loyalty is a shame and doesn't understand anything!

28/03/2025: We had dinner there one night and everything was delicious. Spectacular seafood pasta. I would repeat without hesitation.

11/03/2025: Filetto di manzo - consisted of 70% tendons. Not edible! The salad with oranges and shrimps needed additional seasoning. The grilled vegetables were hard and cold. Not recommended. The service was very friendly and offered us an alternative to the wasted fillet. But our trust in the kitchen was shattered. Left the restaurant frustrated

Deludente sia la pizza, immangiabile, la salsa strazuccherata e bruciata alla base tantè che gli e l'abbiamo fatta rifare, sia la carne di cui non metto in dubbio la qualità ma non saputa cucinare. Ovviamente il conto salato e non all'altezza del cibo. Alla fine della storia siamo dovuti andare a mangiare un panino. Servizio buono con personale gentile, locale carino e ben tenuto ma con pessima aspirazione dei fumi. Spero che il titolare prenda spunto dalle recensioni negative per migliorarsi.
