17/05/2025: This is a warmth and lovely hotel, truly one of the best hotels that I have stayed throughout 20 years of traveling the world. Staff service is excellent. Everybody here is friendly and helpful. Francesco and Stefania are lovely and the guy has genuinely helped us on our traveling matters 🙏🏼 Can’t say enough about this hotel, but I will definitely stay here on my next trip in Taormina 😊

29/05/2025: I went for my birthday with my family, a welcoming location and quite good food. Problems arose when I was asked to pay a supplement for the birthday cake, purchased separately and brought BY ME and which I also had to cut... When I asked for explanations I was told that by bringing the cake from outside I had caused an inconvenience and that I was required to pay for the service (a double place setting in practice), I repeat that the cake was cut by me... Did I pay for two extra plates? Unacceptable

20/05/2025: A lovely restaurant set aside from the main road in Taormina. It had a lovely garden terrace where we had our meal. The meal was delicious. The starter aubergine caponata was incredible, well seasoned and rich in flavour. The bread was served warm with a helping of olive oil and balsamic vinegar- sadly lacking in other restaurants. The main meal was an alla Norma pizza and pasta both well seasoned and neatly balanced. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal!

17/05/2025: A tour of Etna? Here is the starting point! From Paradise the itinerary starts (photocopies available to tourists) for Rifugio Sapienza, Etna Cableway and Silvestri Craters. Then, reaching Zafferana Etnea, the other excursions to the Etna North part start. And after the excursions here is a welcoming, private and quiet environment where you can rest with a view of the olive groves and orchards, volcano and fantastic green countryside! Here is the ideal place to relax and prepare the new excursion perhaps pushing on to Taormina! Beautiful rooms and excellent cuisine, kindness, courtesy and competence of all the staff. Highly recommended.

16/05/2025: A hotel run with great care by a father and daughter, where everything is just right. There's a pizzeria and a traditional Italian restaurant, both serving food and drinks at very reasonable prices, with three types of draft beer available. We had a room with a balcony overlooking Mount Etna, spewing glowing lava, which was very impressive. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

24/05/2025: If I could nominate it as the best pizza in Italy, I would do it without hesitation. I am not used to exaggerating in my judgments: I am 57 years old, I think I have tasted enough pizzas around Italy to be able to say with a certain objectivity when I find a truly special one. Lo Scoglio di Santa Lucia is one of those very rare exceptions that deserve to be talked about. The pizza is simply extraordinary: perfect dough, impeccable cooking, fresh and quality ingredients that you can taste at the first bite. Not only technique, but also passion and care. I am rather rigid when it comes to reviews, but here there is nothing to object to. It is an experience that goes beyond a simple dinner: it is a small journey into the authentic flavors of our country. Sincere compliments to those who work with such dedication.

The pizza at Scoglio di Santa Lucia perfectly reflects all the characteristics described in the menu: from the well-worked dough to the rich and balanced topping, every detail is taken care of with attention. The service in the dining room is impeccable: friendly staff, quick preparation times and great attention to the quality of the ingredients. A 5-star experience from every point of view. In addition, they offer some truly delicious alternatives for dessert: fantastic pizzas with cocoa dough and fillings with the highest quality creams — from Nutella to pistachio, from white chocolate to caramel. A unique experience, made even more special by the “4 creams” version, designed to truly satisfy every type of palate. Highly recommended for those looking for an excellent pizza… and an unforgettable dessert finale!

09/06/2025: A local person sitting next to me talked to me and I ordered a recommended menu item. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and great! It was a great memory from my trip to Sicily. The owner was also kind😊 I'd like to visit again.

12/06/2025: Very nice surprise was this place. Everything we ordered was good, fresh and tasty. Went by the waitress recommendation and had fresh sea bass grilled , tuna carpaccio, cold cuts and caprese salad. We are a bit sorry that we found this place in the end of our stay. It’s the best we had in the area of the beach. Highly recommend

07/06/2025: A magical experience on the island of Etna Wherever you go on the island, you can’t go wrong, every dish here is prepared with local ingredients, and the flavors are exactly what you would expect from the residents of the land of Etna. But not everywhere did we experience the same level of genuine hospitality and expertise as we did at Mr. Santino’s place Mr. Santino personally attended us - a rare treasure these days. While we were eating, we noticed that every guest received their order incredibly fast, and with the very first bite, smiles of surprise and delight appeared on their faces: “How can something be this delicious?” This place has a truly special charm, not only because of the flavors but also thanks to the atmosphere and surroundings, and Mrs Santino If you’re looking for an authentic, heartfelt Sicilian culinary experience, this spot is an absolute must. Please note, restaurants are busy sometimes and service can be slow if many people approach in the same time! Five stars from us - we would gladly return anytime and will do! 25/04/2025: The pizza oven warmed up the little restaurant so this was a lovely cosy place to eat on a chilly evening. Delicious pizzas with a great service. Go for the Volcano! Not to hot but full of flavour.

01/06/2025: Why eat where all the tourists are? Go 400m further and there is a restaurant away from the crowds, where you will find very affordable prices and good products, typical cuisine.

24/05/2025: Enchanting place, crystal clear sea, excellent place to find peace, you can only hear the sound of the sea. A few steps away there is also a tuna fishery surrounded by nature between lawn, rocks and sea, where you can have a nice picnic or simply relax.

18/05/2025: Extremely long waiting times. Pizzas arrived much later than other people who arrived after us. Small pizza and dough without salt, not proportionate to the prices. Experience not to be repeated.

17/05/2025: Scelta estemporanea ma azzeccata. Arrivati senza prenotazione, abbiamo aspettato poco per sederci. Il locale è ordinato e pulito e i tavoli sono disposti alla giusta distanza per non affollarlo troppo. Il personale è tutto giovane, educato, sorridente e disponibile, ragazzi molto perbene. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti e pizze, tutto molto buono con tempi di attesa accettabilissimi. I prezzi sono nella media. Sicuramente da ripetere. Complimenti
