A problem often encountered in Sicily is that getting from point A to point B, even just a few kilometers away, often takes a very long time due to the necessary breaks in between.
Dolc'e is an example of this. During a trip between Catania and Cefalù, passing through Agira, I stopped in this laboratory specializing in Agira cassatelle.

Well-stocked sweet shop where you can taste their products. Cassatelle of various flavors and of excellent quality. Courtesy and friendliness are another feather in our cap. Even though I am not from the province, it remains an obligatory half several times a year, perhaps before/after the visit to the OUTLET nearby. CONGRATULATIONS.
Exceptional confectionery workshop. Pleasant discovery before Agira town. Excellent ricotta and traditional cassatelle, stratospheric buccellati (biscuits with dried fruit and figs inside), desserts with honey and crumbled almonds on top (mastazzole) very tasty and finally a dessert with almond paste covered with lemon icing (nacatoli) which is superb. I will definitely be back to try other delicacies. Highly recommended.
