19/03/2025: Got the recommendation from out B&B host and really enjoyed it! Especially the starters were excellent - great calamari and one of the best caprese I had in my life! Interesting selection of pizza toppings, choose wisely depending on how experimental you are!

10/03/2025: Fantastic evening, there's little to say, a breath of fresh air in a fantastic and new environment for modesty, fantastic atmosphere, the guys in the room managed by Santina were really good and polite. Montanarine delicious, excellent appetizer, but the pizza beats everything and is truly delicious. And to conclude the dessert for Women's Day, a cake reminiscent of mimosa, very fresh and delicious, so many compliments.

15/04/2025: Excellent fish restaurant. Away from tourist area in residential square. Every seafood starter and our whole grilled sea bream as a main dish was the best food we ate in 10 days travelling through Sicily. Very friendly waiter that could explain all the dishes in English.

02/03/2025: We went to eat the other night. Very pleasant place: we felt at home. Excellent cuisine and unforgettable experience. The first place we will return to without a doubt if we have the opportunity to return to Sicily

04/01/2025: I tried the restaurant. Really excellent food, best dish of the stay. However, I didn't have couscous but spaghetti al vongole. The best of my life! Negative point: it took 45 minutes before being served, our glasses of wine warmed up and we had to put ice cubes in them…

12/12/2024: Sicily meets Arabia. Fairytale-like ambience with typical local dishes. The specialty and highly recommended is the couscous.

23/02/2025: We have frequented La Forchetta del Castello several times over the years, always on weekdays, and we have always appreciated the generous portions, the excellent quality of the food and the attentive and helpful service. Unfortunately, today's experience, a Sunday, was not up to the previous ones. While on the one hand a little more chaos on public holidays is understandable, on the other hand we did not expect such a clear drop in service. The portions were smaller than usual (although still within the norm) and the quality of the food remained excellent, but the real problem was the very poor service. There were only inexperienced kids in the room, visibly confused among the tables, making the experience less pleasant than usual. In summary, La Forchetta del Castello remains a quality restaurant, but the management of service on the busiest days should be improved to maintain the standard that has always convinced us. We hope it was just an episode and that we will rediscover the excellence we knew in future visits.

27/01/2025: I returned after many years to eat in this place, I admit that they never disappoint, excellent cuisine handed down by Mr. Mario to the new staff, excellent service, and what can I say. After a good Sunday lunch, ending with a pleasant walk to the castle of Santa Lucia del Mela with a view of the Gulf of Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands... I will return to taste their cuisine and spend another beautiful day in company. Thanks see you next time!!! I recommend it to everyone

17/03/2025: Durante nuestra estancia de 4 noches en Taormina cenamos 2 de las noches en Casa Niclodi. La atención recibida de Maurizio y el personal realmente nos hizo sentir bienvenidos en esta joya escondida del paseo peatonal principal, Corso Umberto. El ambiente interior (todavía demasiado frío para comer al aire libre) es de muy buen gusto y te hace sentir como si estuvieras en una villa siciliana... .. que en realidad era anterior. La comida es fabulosa y estuvimos más que contentos de tomar recomendaciones tanto de comida como de vino de Maurizio, que es parte de la propiedad familiar. Durante las dos visitas, tuvimos pasta de tinta de calamar, ensalada de gambas rojas, ensalada de alcachofas y gambas, pasta de pez espada y carne de res con setas y trufa. ¡Todo magnífico! Nuestro otro camarero que queremos reconocer es Davide en la noche 1 y Vitale en la noche 2. Entre todos ellos nos atendieron personalmente ambas noches y tuvimos varias conversaciones sobre la vida en Sicilia. Esta es una de nuestras partes favoritas de los viajes, realmente conocer un poco sobre las personas que viven y trabajan allí Tenemos la suerte de haber viajado por el mundo y haber estado en algunos restaurantes fabulosos, y podemos decir que este es un top 5 para nosotros. Puede hacer frente a cualquier lugar, en cualquier lugar para el servicio y la calidad. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que visite Taormina!

05/03/2025: All the staff were very kind, very clean and the food was exceptional. Every time I come to Italy and visit the city of Catania, this is my favorite restaurant. A big hug to all the staff: At the chef's brazier. Greetings from the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

20/10/2024: Sometimes you have to wait, especially on weekdays, but the kindness and courtesy of the staff often makes the difference. A simple apology note would have already been enough, but even finding additional dishes as an "apology" beat everything. Super good food, as in previous years.

31/03/2025: sono stata a cena con amici, il locale è carino ed accogliente, personale subito ci ha fatto sedere a tavolo anche se non avevano la prenotazione, l'ordinazione è stata celere, il personale è gentile ed attento al cliente ,la qualità delle pizza era ottima ed il rapporto prezzo anche. La pizza era perfetta come cottura e come condimento super abbondante. Ritornerò molto volentieri.

31/12/2024: Unico posto aperto x chilometri quindi scelta limitata, primi piatti quasi insapori, appena sufficiente il tagliere dei salumi, vino al calice pietoso, e se non ero attento invece che 3 calici ci avevano addebitato 3 bottiglie...unica nota positiva la posizione e la simpatia del cameriere.

23/12/2024: If you are Korean, it may be difficult to come here, but if you are passing by, please stop by. It was the most Sicilian and delicious food I had in Sicily. Actually, I went to Nodo Amare, which has a view of the beach, and the friendly manager told me to go here because they were having a Christmas rental event. The price was cheaper and the taste was top-notch. The female staff was friendly and the meal was enjoyable. Not to mention the food.

06/04/2025: Pleasant time spent in this bar restaurant. Very affordable prices, good pizza and good ice cream coated with pistachio. The spritz taken at the appetizer was good. Double Apéro+charcuterie/cheese plate+2pizza and 2 desserts €50. The waitress was very nice despite the language barrier. We recommend this restaurant

02/04/2025: Una serata tra amici per festeggiare la fine di coso di aggiornamento abbiamo preso degli antipasti di crudi fresco e buonissimo e curati dopo dei primi linguine alle vongole buono tre bottiglie di vino bollecine … il conto molto alto per il pesce che abbiamo mangiato, locale curato e personale professionale ….
