21/09/2025: After landing in Olbia, we quickly looked for a place to eat and managed to get something to eat here just before our break. Since 2:00 PM is a bit late for lunch for us, we only wanted to order one dish per person. We had reserved a table for dinner where we wanted to eat a decent amount of meat. We opted for pasta vongole and pasta with crab. The portions were great and the taste was also very good. Regarding the prices, I have to say that they are quite high for a trattoria in Italy. I think it's because of Sardinia that everything there is incredibly expensive compared to other cities like Milan, Turin, Venice, etc. But after a week in Sardinia, I can say that the pasta at Sperittu tasted the best. So, it's worse when you pay €22 and it's inedible. At least we had a delicious meal here. And of course, we were lucky to get a table. Great parking. The location is right on the street, the ambiance is very simple, and the service is a bit cold.

20/09/2025: Indoor AC and Outdoor seating suits all needs. It is a very nice place recently renovated with friendly yet professional staff and see-thru kitchen. Clean inside and outside, bathrooms are squeaky clean! Will definitely visit Chef Paolo again!

11/10/2025: A restaurant where you eat truly well, using excellent ingredients expertly prepared. From appetizers to dessert, everything was perfect! I highly recommend it.

19/09/2025: A great location surrounded by greenery, excellent pizzas and meats, accompanied by excellent craft beers from the Nanumoru brewery. Excellent service.

10/08/2025: Ulives is a young and welcoming place, run by passionate young people, where quality pizza is paramount. The dough is well-made and light, and every week the pizza chef creates a new creation, always original and delicious. The place is nestled in a small park, a pleasant and relaxing setting that makes the experience even more enjoyable. You can choose to eat inside or outside, enjoying the beautiful evenings. If you're in the area and looking for good pizza in a charming and refined setting, Olives is definitely the place to go.

29/09/2025: Good food and quality.... but the drink ptices are to high...after 4 years of visiting i am no longer ready to pay 10 Euros for an aperol...

28/09/2025: Great beach restaurant with a relaxed vibe. Prices are reasonable given the location right by the sea. We paid €47 for 2 mains, 2 beers and 2 coffees (umbrellas and chairs are on top of this) Portions were big and filling, food was ok overall, nothing fancy but a solid choice if you want a casual meal by the beach.

21/09/2025: We went because the menu says they had pork. We went to order it early because you need to reserve to eat pork, and they told us they didn't have it. They were also very rude. I don't understand why they would put something on the menu that they later told us was available, even if you book in advance. Especially when it's the typical dish of the area.

18/09/2025: The food was ok, not great. The problem was that I did not get what I ordered - they didnt have the pasta and the ingridient, so they just brought me similar dish. Waiter didnt speak english well. We ordered fish for 16€ (compared to other food and restaurants, pretty expensive) and we got one small slice of fish - absolutely not enough, maybe as a starter. I would not really recommend.

16/09/2025: Food matches the price. We had as a starter octopus with pea pure (I ve eaten better in my life). Then beef ravioli and risotto with seafood. Some mussels werent open...

08/09/2025: Very nice property, excellent value for money. The room was spotless and equipped with a fridge and coffee maker. The private outdoor veranda has a table where you can relax and enjoy an aperitif.

08/10/2025: Excellent lunch at Il Ritrovo in Mamoiada! 5/5 stars – A true highlight of Sardinian cuisine! I had the pleasure of lunching at the Trattoria Pizzeria Il Ritrovo in Mamoiada (Corso V. Emanuele III, 101) today, and it was a complete success! From the warm welcome to the last bite, the experience was a complete success. The ambiance is authentic and inviting – you immediately feel at home. I chose some traditional Sardinian specialties and was not disappointed. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, which you can taste in every dish. Everything was freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. It's obvious that the food here is prepared with passion and respect for Sardinian culinary tradition. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional. They really took their time with their guests. Il Ritrovo is the perfect place to experience authentic Barbagia cuisine. Whether for locals or visitors, this restaurant is highly recommended. A great place for an excellent lunch! I'll definitely be back to try the pizzas.

24/08/2025: Lunch with friends in a very nice place, with a wide selection of wines and spirits, all beautifully displayed. It would take more than two months to taste them all. The "meat safe" is interesting, with the ones that have been aged longer easily recognizable. We eat on an outdoor veranda, surrounded by greenery, quite comfortable and quiet despite the crowd. The various dishes, including appetizers, are truly exquisite, especially the perfectly cooked meats. The meats are beautifully moist, not stringy, and very flavorful, and we practically devour them. The staff are very friendly, informal, and friendly. They're quick but not rushed, in fact, we had to ask for a few items a couple of times (well, that's understandable when the place is crowded). The table was perhaps a little small for the occasion, but we made do anyway. The tiramisu was good, although I would have preferred a more classic presentation (personal taste, obviously). I would have expected the price to be a little lower, but it's still fair enough; we ate very well. A must-try place that I highly recommend; I've already saved it to my favorites, so...

14/09/2025: It pains my heart to write this review, but since the experience bothers me, I'm doing it. Tonight hurts just as much, considering the price I paid and the service I received as a guest. We were here on vacation three years ago, twice in fact. The prices are quite a bit higher than those of nearby restaurants. During our visits three years ago, it was reasonable, and the experience prompted us to visit again. The dishes are beautifully presented, without question. I had the bruschetta. Every Italian restaurant does it differently; some season it quite generously, while others keep it more neutral. Here, it's more neutral, and the tomatoes are unfortunately rather watery, without much of a flavor of their own. By the way, it's two euros more expensive than on the online menu; that's the case with some dishes. Based on my very good past experiences, I opted for the lobster, the most expensive dish in this restaurant. I don't eat lobster very often, but I've had a few over the past few years. Therefore, I have to say that the quality or freshness of today's was probably lacking. The meat was almost tasteless and neutral; I'm used to a typical, slightly sweet flavor. It was also very tough and rubbery; I'm used to tender, easily peelable meat. The real "highlight" of the lobster was unfortunately the carrot, because it was well seasoned and, because it's a carrot, also had its own flavor 🤷‍♂️ The shrimp at my fellow guests' table were floury and overcooked and equally bland. Some of the vegetables were very bland, unseasoned, and flavorless. Not everything was unsatisfactory; the boiled potatoes were good, as were the rosemary potatoes. The fish received praise. The chef is very friendly and personable, and takes all orders. Our half-liter of wine turned into a glass, which can happen, and isn't a big deal. The half-liter I ordered was then brought to the table without comment, not slammed, but placed there with "force." Of course, I can pour my own wine. But at a "gourmet" restaurant, I expect a certain level of service, especially at the appropriate prices. Other guests who ordered wine by the bottle were tasted, but also not poured. I think it was different three years ago. The drinks generally took a little longer to arrive; we were even the first guests of the evening because we had reservations, and even so, the restaurant was far from full (from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.). We were used to it three years ago, when it was almost impossible to get a seat. Overall, we weren't that satisfied with the service. After my previous experience, my expectations were naturally high, and my anticipation was very high for two days. Unfortunately, this made today's performance all the more dramatic. The other guests seemed very satisfied; apparently, we had taken a hit. I probably won't be coming back, at least not this vacation, and the next time will be very carefully considered. I spent just under €75 for my own food and drinks. It would have been a good deal more if the bruschetta had been a bit more convincing, the lobster hadn't been so completely abysmal, and the service had been on point. On top of that, we were eaten alive by mosquitoes (despite the use of Autan), something the owner can only do to a limited extent, such as by planting plants and laying out the tables accordingly. But when you're being bitten from head to toe, and the food and service aren't up to scratch, you just don't feel like moving around. You just want to leave. I don't want to discourage anyone from visiting, but I have to assess my unfortunately unsuccessful evening accordingly. The excessive length of this review probably shows how surprised I was and what I was actually expecting.

06/09/2025: It used to be good, but now the service is rather dry. The food is superficially good but the quality is poor. Overpriced for what it is.

19/09/2025: We ordered two takeout pizzas: they were delivered promptly at the scheduled pickup time. The pizzas were loaded with toppings and the quality of the ingredients was excellent; the dough was well-risen (a little low in salt, which I personally appreciated, but it depends on your taste). We ordered a diavola and a marritza: total €20 Recommended!

17/09/2025: Very polite on the phone. Delicious pizza for takeout. Fabulous linguine with clams, also available for takeout.

24/09/2025: This simple but very nice hotel is located in a very quiet area outside of Cardedu. The entire complex, including the pool, and the rooms (with air conditioning) are very well-maintained and clean. A rich breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex. In my opinion, it deserves a 4-star rating.

14/09/2025: I've been to this restaurant three or four times, but this time I was disappointed. I love the "pesci sogliola alla Parmigiana" (a dish on the menu), so I suggested going with my family. We ordered mussels, fried fish, spaghetti vongole con bottarga, and sogliola con Parmigiana. The fish was fresh and everything was delicious. However, the behavior of one male waiter made this dining experience extremely unpleasant. While waiting for my food, I asked a nearby waiter to take a photo. He was very reluctant, tapping his finger repeatedly on my phone, then glaring at me as he handed it back. I had a nasty look on my face. When I checked my phone later, I was shocked to see that he had taken 18 photos in a row! It was clearly a deliberate attempt to annoy me, and it was a completely different experience from anything I've ever had before. I was left feeling extremely uncomfortable and saddened by the whole meal. In contrast, I was impressed by another waiter who kindly took a photo for a customer at a nearby table, smiling and taking it for him. I was looking forward to the dinner party, but this left me feeling sad, and I probably won't be going to this restaurant again.
