Bontà Sarda In Alghero

Very good food and very friendly staff.

Great pizza and great service! Recommended!

One of the best places to eat truly good pizza and fried fish... but not only that! The other dishes are very good too! (Maloreddu, Sardinian fregola, meats...) I recommend the Lady Gavoy, which includes Fiore Sardo cheese, Casizolu cheese, and fresh sausage... you have to be a fan of melted Italian cheeses, but what a treat!! The pizzas are very generously topped and perfectly cooked, the crust is neither too hard nor too soft, and the fried fish is really quite good! And that's coming from a big fan, because it's not so easy to find good Italian pizza around Alghero. It's a good place to eat well without being overpriced, but it can be a bit noisy in the evening because there are a lot of tables and the restaurant is almost full every night, so it's best to make a reservation. The waitresses speak Italian and English fluently and are very friendly. Access is easy, and parking is a bit easier on the road than elsewhere in Alghero. The place is a little off the beaten track from the tourist areas but it's really worth it.

Food was excellent, service very friendly, clean. But please tell the owner he should finally invest in decent knives; they can't even cut water 😅 We'll be back next year.

Great food, menu extensive - almost TOO MANY choices (!) but provides good excuse to return many times. It was my second time visiting. Menu is only available online via QR code which is a negative for many people, especially if you want to socialize and avoid playing with technology at the table (or for tourists without roaming data). Outdoor seating area seemed a really nice option, but unfortunately not ideal in the end as next to a busy, loud roundabout with alot of traffic pollution (not Bontà Sarda's fault, just unfortunate). Staff very hardworking and always busy but still attentive and friendly when you need assistance. Hope to return again soon.

Very delicious and filling pizzas, I had to stop eating for a few minutes because of the amount on my plate. That's why I'm writing this review while I take a break from the food battle. Definitely recommended.

I've ordered takeout pizza from Bontà Sarda twice, and I have to say I'm absolutely blown away! 🍕 Light dough, quality ingredients, and authentic flavor—you can taste the care and passion that goes into making it. Even after a few minutes of travel, the pizza remains fragrant and delicious. Definitely one of the best pizzerias in Alghero for those who love authentic Sardinian pizza made to perfection! 👌🔥
