23/01/2026: I was very impressed. The property is brand new, with meticulous attention to detail. Both the lobby and the room were spotlessly clean. It's warm and welcoming. The rooms are very well-maintained, and the bathrooms are excellent. In short, nothing is missing. They are truly exquisite, hospitable, and always ready to help with any need. 02/06/2026: I celebrated my son's confirmation at this beautiful bar and was absolutely blown away. If you're looking for the perfect place for an intimate evening, with just a few people and a warm, private atmosphere, look no further. The highlight, besides the beautiful atmosphere, was undoubtedly the buffet and the lasagna (delicious). There are dishes for all tastes, from classic appetizers to truly delicious options. You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Nothing is left to chance. Unlike typical aperitifs where the food disappears in a flash, here the portions were generous and constantly refilled. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and incredibly welcoming, making us feel pampered from start to finish. Ideal for birthdays, intimate graduation parties, or small events. The real turning point, however, was the attention paid to the guest with dietary requirements: among the guests was a woman with celiac disease, and the owner (Leo) was able to handle the situation perfectly. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back for my next event.

13/05/2026: On vacation in Mottola... we went for lunch and had a great time. Excellent food and great service, the waitress is very nice... well done!

03/05/2026: Everything was as good as always, dishes prepared with care and of excellent quality. The service was impeccable. I recommend adding at least a few sugary biscuits when serving coffee and liqueurs. Dessert is a must on a set menu that's increased to €40.

02/07/2026: I am surprised this is on the Michelin guide. Having eaten at many fine dining restaurants this was a let down. We traveled to celebrate our anniversary at Gatto Rosso and were very disappointed. We were sat outside in the corner and felt a bit forgotten about from our arrival. The waiter didn’t seem too happy to be there or be serving us. The service was disjointed and the food came out at different times. The review would have been 1 star but at least the food was edible though nothing memorable.

26/06/2026: New, clean pizzeria, and the pizza is truly mouth-watering. Top-notch dough with excellent leavening, quality products. Discovered by chance, it has become a go-to place for our get-togethers with friends.

02/06/2026: Luckily, I tried calling, even though yesterday would have been closed. They opened before a holiday. Excellent portion of capocollo. Excellent mixed roast, with sausage, chicken livers, bombette, and a sample of lamb, plus a portion of fried meatballs, with a side of baked potatoes in their skins. Excellent house Negramaro. The sorbet wasn't exceptional, and the tiramisu was very good. Prompt, courteous, and professional service. Average bill, in line with the quality.

22/07/2026: We ordered a €250 takeout barbecue. Eight people all had stomach aches and diarrhea. Never again will we go to that grill. Not recommended to anyone.

03/07/2026: NO PIZZA. A seemingly small place, but it's on two floors and has a welcoming outdoor terrace overlooking the Aragonese Castle, just steps from the swing bridge. The place setting is very elegant, and it's adequate for what you order. Prices are reasonable, and the menu is basic, with only a few dishes of each type and no mussel dishes. When ordering, you're told they also have many mussel dishes. I went with my family for pizza. It was good, but nothing exceptional. If you're looking for pizza, I wouldn't recommend Core Restaurant.
