15/12/2025: Without even half a star.... Thursday I called to book a table for two for the following Monday..... The guy, not to call him anything else, tells me that they are always open with a reservation made.... Today Monday I arrive at the restaurant and find it closed... not very serious.... Are you in the business?

14/12/2025: Excellent meat food! Friendly service!

17/12/2025: Lunch here was a regular stop when we were in the area on weekdays (since on holidays you have to book well in advance). Unfortunately, yesterday it didn't go very well... (Did the chef change?) The appetizers were prepared who knows how long ago, even the seafood linguine was nothing like the ones we've had the other times, the grilled vegetables were burnt, the fish was the same story, only the calamari was okay, the shrimp contained sand, the swordfish (Oceanico) tasted old. The black truffle tasted only of ice. And a stomach ache... We were hungry and we gulped down the ceca, we were actually asked at the cashier how it had gone, but to avoid controversy, we paid and left because we didn't want to ruin our day. Obviously we won't be back again.

14/12/2025: The appetizers were okay, but the mussels...sorry, I know a lot about fish...and they were dirty, salty, inedible. The waiters were very unfriendly. The pasta with the lentils was okay, but very salty. In the end, the owner didn't charge for the mussels. But no thanks. There are much better places in Italy to eat fresh fish.

24/11/2025: ...I often go for lunch whenever I'm in Taranto. The open kitchen gives me a lot of confidence, which isn't often the case in many restaurants. The staff is fast and always smiling. I recommend it.

26/10/2025: Great place, reasonable prices, delicious food. Even in the off-season, it's always fully booked, on Sunday for big company it’s better to reserve it. The service is excellent, the staff is very helpful and speaks English, and the food was delivered very quickly. The pasta was excellent, very filling, and there was plenty of seafood. I highly recommend it. It's a very local and cool restaurant. There are lot of locals eating here, it says a lot. If you're looking for a delicious meal for a good, this is definitely the place to go. It was my second time here, and I’m pretty sure, it’s both my last visit this place

01/10/2025: As soon as we finished our impromptu dinner, our first time here, I must say we immediately felt at home. The feeling of total relaxation was complete. The meat was high-quality (I invite you to try their homemade salami, which is truly excellent. The prices are far from average; I honestly would have gladly paid a little more). We didn't pay anything for what we got. Truly top-notch. Then there's Alessia's desserts (her homemade tiramisu), 10 out of 10. Congratulations to everyone.

09/12/2025: We chose L'Essenza in Vista for the Immaculate Conception Lunch, and the experience was truly excellent. The chef's special menu was meticulously crafted and full of authentic flavors. The land and sea appetizers were a great start: a selection of Martina Franca capocollo, blueberry burrata, and truly delicious mushroom meatballs, along with gratinated salmon cubes and cuttlefish in a creamy chickpea sauce. The portions were just right, and great attention was paid to the quality of the ingredients. The seafood cavatelli were also delicious, creamy and fragrant, as was the sea bass turban with saffron velouté, exquisitely delicate. The side dish, a baked potato, was also excellent, perfectly complementing the dish. To finish, a beautifully made puff pastry with cream and berries and a selection of fresh fruit. The service was courteous and punctual, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. A perfect celebration: good food, carefully prepared dishes, and great professionalism. Highly recommended for events and celebrations!

07/12/2025: Whenever I'm in the area, I make a point of going to this butcher shop. The guy working the counter is kind, friendly, and always helpful. Since I can't eat salt and breadcrumbs, I always ask him to make me strips on the spot, and even the veal liver. It's always fresh and delicious. Plus, they make so many other delicious dishes, all of which are top-notch. Last time, he gave me a box of pinsa. Okay, the expiration date was approaching, but he was thoughtful, and I really appreciated it. See you soon 😊😊

21/08/2025: The hotel faces the beach, and it's wonderful to eat in the restaurant overlooking the beach: it's almost like being on the veranda. The breakfast offered a lovely selection, with the hotel's exposure to the sun, and it's beautiful, and you can admire the sunrise while eating in the restaurant room, almost like being on the veranda. The choice and variety at lunch and dinner are more than excellent, including classic dishes with good Italian and international cuisine, as well as generous portions. Given the proximity to the sea, it's quiet, and you can sleep with the windows open without having to use the air conditioning. The owners and staff are always available, friendly, and accommodating. The really good quality/price ratio; I highly recommend it.
