19/02/2026: I returned after a few years and left satisfied. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff friendly. I appreciated the attention to wait times. In my case, alone, I was given priority over more demanding tables. The fish is fresh and the dishes are generous. The mixed antipasto is worth it; it would be enough on its own. There are some risky options, like the strawberries with a side of shrimp, which I honestly didn't understand. For the main course, I would have lightened the grilled calamari with a generous accompaniment of diced peppers. I would leave more room for the fish, without overshadowing it too much. The wine selection is good. In any case, it's a place to go with confidence and avoid any surprises. Highly recommended.

The experience was incredibly positive: quick and attentive service, and the waiter was extremely friendly and always available. 09/12/2025: We chose L'Essenza in Vista for the Immaculate Conception Lunch, and the experience was truly excellent. The chef's special menu was meticulously crafted and full of authentic flavors. The land and sea appetizers were a great start: a selection of Martina Franca capocollo, blueberry burrata, and truly delicious mushroom meatballs, along with gratinated salmon cubes and cuttlefish in a creamy chickpea sauce. The portions were just right, and great attention was paid to the quality of the ingredients. The seafood cavatelli were also delicious, creamy and fragrant, as was the sea bass turban with saffron velouté, exquisitely delicate. The side dish, a baked potato, was also excellent, perfectly complementing the dish. To finish, a beautifully made puff pastry with cream and berries and a selection of fresh fruit. The service was courteous and punctual, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. A perfect celebration: good food, carefully prepared dishes, and great professionalism. Highly recommended for events and celebrations!

22/01/2026: This evening, as happens to me from time to time, I ordered home delivery from this pizzeria and at the last minute I added an extra item. I must say that the sausage and broccoli pizza, like all the other pizzas, was sublime. It arrived hot, as were the French fries and chicken nuggets. The Peroni beer was excellent. In short, it is definitely a place to try and recommend to everyone. In my humble opinion, you will be more than satisfied.

14/09/2025: Excellent pizza, although the buffalo mozzarella wasn't great. Service was good, the place was clean, bright, and spacious.

05/09/2025: We went out for dinner last night and were very satisfied. The mussel soup was really good and plentiful, and we finished it with a bread pucciatina. Two pizzas were well-cooked and topped with the right sauce. We loved them. We also had a classic fried potato, which was also good and plentiful, and fried well. Both the young man who took our order and the young woman who served us were very kind. The menu is extensive and not just limited to pizzas. We'll be back to try something else.

18/08/2025: Very nice pub in a characteristic alley in the historic center. The food is good but the price is better. The sandwiches are good and tasty. It's a shame about the completely industrial meat, but it's well-composed with sauces and ingredients. The bread is excellent. It's a shame not to be able to choose between two types of different quality meat at different prices. It would be perfect because, with that meat, they were already good. I imagine what it would be with a Chianina burger cooked rare. Otherwise, excellent beer, very kind and very quick staff, and very low prices but normal for the quality of the meat.

14/02/2026: We arrived, we waited more than 5 minutes to order the meat because they had run out of strips (and that's understandable, absolutely nothing to complain about). Once we were seated, we stayed there for an hour and no one came to take our order. We asked the few waiters (who were clearly struggling) if they could take our order, but they were so fast that they would answer by walking away until one of them said that the person taking the order was at the cash register. One of us went to ask, and finally we were able to order. We arrived at the end of the meal and went to pay, asking for the bill. It was steep and expensive for the amount of meat we'd bought without even bringing wine (considering we've been here in the past and bought even more meat and wine, we paid half the price). I'm sorry, as we had good memories of this place, but we won't be returning. 28/01/2026: We were at this restaurant on a Saturday. They advised us over the phone to arrive around 8:30 pm. We were a table of 12 people. We ate very well and had a truly enjoyable evening. We stayed until after 11 pm. The waiters didn't rush you to clear tables because the restaurant is very large. In addition to the main room, there is a closed gazebo. I must say, it was a truly pleasant experience. We will definitely be back.

14/02/2026: I'm sorry, but since we came for a bit of relaxation on Valentine's Day, my husband and I were a bit disappointed with the spa experience. Considering the price and the location, it didn't live up to our expectations. The place was clean, small, but well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, there were two things that really didn't work: there was a very loud couple with us who talked loudly the entire time. We told them twice to keep their voices down, but, being rude as they were, they started talking again after two seconds. There should be more supervision in this regard, as it's a place of relaxation. The second, even more serious, thing that didn't work was this: you can't pay a significant fee and end up leaving with wet hair because there wasn't a working hair dryer. We were told it was because they had overheated due to high consumption on that particular day, but that can't be a problem for the customers since we didn't pay less on that day than on other days. I'm sorry, but we're disappointed.

25/01/2026: Very nice place, discovered during a karaoke night. Affordable menu, good food, especially the bread, which was exceptional, as was the tiramisu.

08/03/2026: We were in Taranto for personal reasons and while searching online for a place to eat, we saw that this restaurant was the winner of Borghese's 4 Ristoranti program, and yes, we chose it! And we were right to do so; the owner was very kind and recommended some dishes and an excellent wine. Sometimes, trusting someone is a good thing. The service was professional, unobtrusive, yet pleasant. The waiter, after realizing we weren't local, told us some facts about the swing bridge and other anecdotes—very interesting and enjoyable.
