04/11/2025: The hotel has many advantages: a beautiful view, nice rooms. I wasn't happy with the food; it was sparse, tasteless, and very basic. It didn't feel like a hotel. The climb up and down to and from the beach was very tiring because the steps are high, making it difficult to navigate, especially uphill. Fortunately, there was a shuttle service at certain times of the day.

03/11/2025: Piccolo Paradiso da Mario's Restaurant, Peschici: Enchanting Views and Welcoming Service The unparalleled highlight of this restaurant is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the Peschici Bay, which makes every dinner, especially at sunset, a charming and romantic experience. The atmosphere is simple and informal. The menu offers cuisine focused on fresh seafood and the flavors of the Gargano. We particularly enjoyed the carefully prepared pasta dishes and grilled fish and meat. The pizzeria is also a good option. Special praise goes to the service: the team was friendly, courteous, and helpful with all guests, helping to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Those planning to reach the restaurant by car should be aware that, especially in high season, parking in the immediate vicinity can be extremely difficult. We recommend planning your arrival well in advance.

29/10/2025: In Peschici the last week of August, looking for a nice place for dinner on our last night, trusting the reviews we chose this restaurant. The room with a table with a spectacular view of the bay, 5 stars for sure. The service was poor (we ordered 1 liter of sparkling white wine... we received still white wine... we first pointed it out to one waitress and nothing... then to the other and nothing... then she came back to tell us they had that! Fine... but maybe they should have mentioned it when we ordered it, right?). The fact of seeing the fireplace outside the room, where they cook the fish, had raised good expectations... which however were not met. Good flavors, but nothing special. Portions: for the first courses (spaghetti with clams) ok... for the second courses (prawns, mixed grill, mixed fried fish) we have found better in other places. It's a shame because for the location it's worth it. For 4 people (1 starter, 2 first courses, 3 second courses, 1 litre of wine, 1 water and 2 cokes) we paid €142.00 including 4 place settings at €2.50 each.

14/09/2025: We wanted to enjoy a pizza from this place and asked if it was possible to take it away, since our child was asleep in the camper. Unfortunately, we were told that takeaway pizza was not available. Just a few minutes later, however, we saw some locals picking up pizzas to go. This was disappointing and made us feel treated differently as visitors. Later, we also asked if it was possible to change some money for parking, but were told that they had no cash at all.

12/12/2025: I've ordered wine from this store twice, and both times I've received the wrong bottle; I've ordered Ernesto Ruffo Amarone Riserva 2012 twice, and I've received Ernesto Ruffo Amarone 2013 twice. I live in the Netherlands, so it's not very convenient and, above all, quite disappointing. These are two different wines, from different vintages. I've received the inferior one twice.

02/11/2025: A beautiful and well-stocked wine shop in the center of Verona, just steps from Piazza Bra. The atmosphere is very pleasant and refined, and the selection of wines, particularly local ones (Valpolicella, Soave, Lugana), is truly remarkable, including a nice selection of labels from smaller wineries. There's also an interesting whisky and grappa section, featuring top-notch labels. The owners (Alberto and Lorenzo) are incredibly knowledgeable and generous with recommendations.

24/02/2026: A fantastic, somewhat upscale restaurant. Highly recommended! Everything was perfect and we felt very comfortable.

24/01/2026: We stopped, drawn by the informal atmosphere: a wooden kiosk with large windows on the waterfront, the kind where fishermen once cooked, so you'd expect to eat spaghetti with clams cooked al dente with a glass of white wine. Instead, we were surprised to find ourselves in a "pretentious" restaurant with leather chairs, a serious waiter, and, most importantly, the obligation to order a very elaborate and therefore overpriced tasting menu for our lunch break, which was supposed to be quick and easy. No simple dishes: just sophisticated combinations that you have to be in the mood for... and which we didn't have the urge for at that moment. A good chef should be judged primarily by his ability to please EVERYONE'S palate, not by the fact that he thinks he's in a MasterChef competition every day! I don't argue with the price, but I do protest the imposition of a fixed-price menu (not specified before entering and sitting down), with no option for personalized variations. For example: there were no vegetables on the menu, not even a green salad! And on top of all that, the excruciatingly slow service made us run away before we even had our coffee! When the era of celebrity chefs ends and we return to eating with joy and humility, it will be a great celebration for everyone!

10/03/2026: Looking for a place to eat well and feel at home? You've found it. The staff is very friendly and attentive to my needs (I have several intolerances, so I'm always happy with them). The pizza is fantastic (there are several toppings to choose from). The sandwiches are out of this world, not to mention the platters and panzerotti. The prices are excellent for the food. My compliments, truly.
