17/02/2026: Everything was perfect. Excellent food and very kind and knowledgeable staff. I absolutely recommend it.

06/01/2026: Very nice and quiet location, although I was served at a table where there was a lot of bustle between waiters and people going to the restroom. Excellent and cutting-edge service. The meat quality was good but not excellent. The menu was modest, but what little they offered was good overall. The wine selection was excellent, and I would have perhaps included a few more wines on the digital menu. I'm happy I was there last night, and I'll be back to try one of the three first courses on the menu. Rating: 8.

19/07/2026: It's an extraordinary place, I would like to live there, they are very kind, we came 5 and we will definitely be back, the chef puts love into making pizzas, he puts his heart and soul into it, the place is wonderful, I feel like I'm in paradise, I hope to return soon

12/08/2026: I'm from Puglia and have been coming to Vieste for many years. I remember always eating very good focaccia at this bakery. After several years, I returned this morning with my partner, and unfortunately we discovered that the quality had deteriorated, as the focaccia didn't seem very fresh; in fact, it was dry and a bit hard!

16/07/2026: Today I ordered and paid at 12:08 (as shown on the receipt) for fried calamari, which I received at 12:50 after complaining that at least four people who had ordered the same thing after me were served first. The thing that bothered me most was that the lady serving insisted that everyone else had ordered before me, when in reality they all arrived after me. Sometimes you have to admit your mistake, but that's not the case here.

21/06/2026: As Romeo la Contana already wrote, highly recommended, but I'd like to give the chef a piece of advice: be a little more daring with the oil, adding a pinch of spicy flavor. The dishes are still very generous. Congratulations, it wasn't worth the money.

25/07/2026: A very convenient restaurant next to the large parking lot near the castle entrance! Simple dishes, also suitable for children, very reasonable prices! Excellent service! I recommend it.

06/08/2026: Yesterday, my friends and I spent a day of pure relaxation and pampering as guests of the family that runs Baia Petra. An environment of pure well-being: elegant, understated, quiet, refined, intimate, and one-of-a-kind. Completely different from the mediocre standard often found in the Gargano area. The lunch, enriched with Savino Muraglia olive oil and D'arapri' sparkling wine, was superb. Everything was top-quality, starting with the bread, handmade by the owner-chef. All food was just-in-time, avoiding waste and squandering of essential ingredients that are now almost impossible to find. For those interested in spending a day in an earthly paradise, I recommend booking a beach umbrella and lunch. Upon arrival, please indicate your preferred dishes. The setting is authentic and wonderful. The colors are vibrant and relaxed. The staff is polite and discreet. A special thanks to the young lifeguard. Intelligent and well-mannered. Experiences to be repeated as soon as possible. Giuliana

19/07/2026: Thanks to Mother Nature, the place is beautiful, and the restaurant is cool, modern, but charming. Unfortunately, it lacks the hospitality, courtesy, and shaded parking typical of the Gargano. No half-day passes, you always pay the full €30. To create something exclusive, you also need to know how to do it; simply decorating and raising the price list isn't enough.

17/06/2026: Who in Foggia hasn't been there? A great place in every way. The cuisine is good, but it hides some hidden gems. If you don't go there, you won't understand. Sorry if that's not enough. Lucky for those who do.

21/07/2026: Good location. Tasty, traditional home cooking, but not exactly affordable, and there's no way to consult the menu or prices: you'll have to rely solely on the owner's hasty instructions... visibly arrogant, haughty, and impatient. There are much better restaurants in the area.

14/09/2025: We wanted to enjoy a pizza from this place and asked if it was possible to take it away, since our child was asleep in the camper. Unfortunately, we were told that takeaway pizza was not available. Just a few minutes later, however, we saw some locals picking up pizzas to go. This was disappointing and made us feel treated differently as visitors. Later, we also asked if it was possible to change some money for parking, but were told that they had no cash at all.

17/04/2026: I got married yesterday, April 16th, and I decided to celebrate it with them after seeing their website on Instagram. I went in person, and Valentina was very, very kind and friendly in showing me the whole structure and explaining how it works. What can I say? I immediately booked the date, and I celebrated there yesterday! The entire staff was unique, they followed us step by step and were by my side for everything, they even helped me clean my wedding dress, which had gotten dirty twice! 🤣 The lunch was excellent, we created a menu together with Valentina based on our tastes. The welcome entrance outside was fabulous! In the dining room, appetizers, first and second courses, all you can eat because the waiters always came by for seconds! The cake was made by them. Oh my, I've never eaten such a good wedding cake!!! I had made a request, and it was accepted and recreated exactly as I had asked, always talking about the cake (I'm attaching a photo). And when we returned to the dining room to eat the cake, the waitresses arrived with the dessert buffet, HUGE BABAs 😍 everyone was in disbelief, and so many cakes, miniatures, etc., etc. That night we stayed there, where they left us a nice bottle of prosecco in the superior room (beautiful!!) and above all, SO CLEAN!!!! Oh, I forgot, Valentina decorated the room for me with colorful flowers, gorgeous! I highly recommend, highly recommend, coming to celebrate here! I will never forget this day because it was truly a fairytale! The staff are amazing, very kind, and always with a big smile… ❤️ Thank you all, thanks to the owner and Valentina, thanks to the waitresses and the chefs, who cooked everything with love and passion, thanks to all the staff! See you next time!!! ❤️❤️❤️

09/07/2026: The owners are shockingly rude. They wanted to charge my daughter the adult menu price, and when my husband pointed out that the girl is only 8, they even became aggressive. The food is nothing special, and the menu selection is very limited. We definitely will NOT be returning.

19/02/2026: Service station with very friendly staff. Ample parking for heavy vehicles, shower facilities, a well-stocked bar (sandwiches, focaccia, panzerotti, desserts, and more), a restaurant, and a tobacconist.

18/04/2026: Bad experience. We arrived at 9:00 PM and ordered two pizzas. While waiting, we ate a portion of fries. After about two hours, we asked for the pizza times. When we received no response, we decided to leave. At the cashier, we were told that our pizza order hadn't been placed, so we decided to pay for the order and leave. Bad experience.

08/04/2026: I had lunch at the Buongustaio restaurant and pizzeria in Ortanova (Foggia). What can I say? I had my doubts, but I had a great time. The atmosphere was nice and bright, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back.
