The property is comfortable with all the necessary amenities and very close to the sea. The food prepared by Francesco is excellent and of high quality, especially the pizza. It was a truly pleasant and relaxing stay.

I've had the opportunity to try both the panzerotti shop and the restaurant, and each time the experience has been exceptional. The panzerotti are simply spectacular: perfectly cooked, with very little oil and a generous filling that allows you to fully savor them. The variety is incredible, with always well-chosen ingredients and surprising combinations, making every bite a true delight. The restaurant, which I've tried for both lunch and dinner, never disappoints. From appetizers to desserts, every course is carefully prepared, flavorful, and capable of surprising you with its quality and authenticity. The staff and the owner are friendly, kind, and always available, ready to offer advice and make the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is very well laid out: the main section is located on a small balcony overlooking the splendid view of Mattinata, with the sea visible in the distance, making summer dinners unforgettable. There's also a small indoor dining room, perfect for those seeking a more intimate atmosphere, and the overall design is tastefully crafted, simple yet elegant, enhancing the experience without being invasive. In short, Gli Artigiani del Gusto is one of those places that stays in your heart: quality, authentic flavors, a unique view, and a family-like welcome that always makes you feel at home. 01/05/2026: We went to this place for dinner because I wanted to eat some fresh fish for my birthday. Since they have a fishmonger attached, I trusted them. Cute place, very fresh fish, and two very kind waiters. After eating delicious raw fish, a hot and cold fish appetizer, and a tuna and salmon carpaccio recommended by the very helpful Giuseppe, I was thrilled to have fully satisfied my craving for something truly delicious. I'll definitely be back.

07/12/2025: Il Caratino presents itself as a pleasant meeting place, thanks in large part to its location: the sea view is the only real highlight, creating a relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant view. Otherwise, however, everything remains utterly mediocre. The cuisine isn't surprising; the dishes are ordinary and lacking in character, and the service leaves little to be desired. This is a place that could offer much more, but it's simply "passable." In short: a good place to meet and enjoy the view, but not for those seeking quality or a true gastronomic experience.

14/09/2025: We wanted to enjoy a pizza from this place and asked if it was possible to take it away, since our child was asleep in the camper. Unfortunately, we were told that takeaway pizza was not available. Just a few minutes later, however, we saw some locals picking up pizzas to go. This was disappointing and made us feel treated differently as visitors. Later, we also asked if it was possible to change some money for parking, but were told that they had no cash at all.
