06/01/2026: I've been frequenting Gli Artigiani del Gusto for many years and can confidently say it's always a guarantee. I've had the opportunity to try both the panzerotti shop and the restaurant, and each time the experience has been exceptional. The panzerotti are simply spectacular: perfectly cooked, with very little oil and a generous filling that allows you to fully savor them. The variety is incredible, with always well-chosen ingredients and surprising combinations, making every bite a true delight. The restaurant, which I've tried for both lunch and dinner, never disappoints. From appetizers to desserts, every course is carefully prepared, flavorful, and capable of surprising you with its quality and authenticity. The staff and the owner are friendly, kind, and always available, ready to offer advice and make the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is very well laid out: the main section is located on a small balcony overlooking the splendid view of Mattinata, with the sea visible in the distance, making summer dinners unforgettable. There's also a small indoor dining room, perfect for those seeking a more intimate atmosphere, and the overall design is tastefully crafted, simple yet elegant, enhancing the experience without being invasive. In short, Gli Artigiani del Gusto is one of those places that stays in your heart: quality, authentic flavors, a unique view, and a family-like welcome that always makes you feel at home. Every time I return, I leave satisfied and certain I'll be back again. Highly recommended, especially if you love panzerotti and authentic seafood! 🥟🍝🌊

07/04/2026: We stayed over the Easter weekend as a couple. We found the staff to be friendly, from the moment we booked over the phone to the moment we arrived at the property. The room, an annex, was surrounded by greenery among olive trees, not far from the pebble beach where you can take long, peaceful walks. The welcome was impeccable, and even the breakfast served each morning was excellent and varied. Nothing negative, just a small suggestion: to improve the rooms. We will definitely be back.

24/01/2026: We stopped, drawn by the informal atmosphere: a wooden kiosk with large windows on the waterfront, the kind where fishermen once cooked, so you'd expect to eat spaghetti with clams cooked al dente with a glass of white wine. Instead, we were surprised to find ourselves in a "pretentious" restaurant with leather chairs, a serious waiter, and, most importantly, the obligation to order a very elaborate and therefore overpriced tasting menu for our lunch break, which was supposed to be quick and easy. No simple dishes: just sophisticated combinations that you have to be in the mood for... and which we didn't have the urge for at that moment. A good chef should be judged primarily by his ability to please EVERYONE'S palate, not by the fact that he thinks he's in a MasterChef competition every day! I don't argue with the price, but I do protest the imposition of a fixed-price menu (not specified before entering and sitting down), with no option for personalized variations. For example: there were no vegetables on the menu, not even a green salad! And on top of all that, the excruciatingly slow service made us run away before we even had our coffee! When the era of celebrity chefs ends and we return to eating with joy and humility, it will be a great celebration for everyone!

14/09/2025: We wanted to enjoy a pizza from this place and asked if it was possible to take it away, since our child was asleep in the camper. Unfortunately, we were told that takeaway pizza was not available. Just a few minutes later, however, we saw some locals picking up pizzas to go. This was disappointing and made us feel treated differently as visitors. Later, we also asked if it was possible to change some money for parking, but were told that they had no cash at all.

24/08/2025: We rented two sun loungers and an umbrella. They were very kind, helpful, and very quick. We took advantage of the opportunity to have lunch. The dishes were very good, but the only flaw is that there's no menu with prices displayed because it changes daily, so the price was somewhat unexpectedly high. Overall, recommended!

15/08/2025: Had lunch. Excellent dishes in a simple location with a sea view. The only flaw, which I'd already read in other reviews, is that you order without knowing the cost of the dishes. The service charge isn't shown on the receipt, just the total.

31/01/2026: Manager's arrogance. This morning I went to book my son's birthday party. I asked the girl at the coffee shop if she could explain, and she very kindly told me that the girl in charge of birthdays was coming at 12, but she would check availability. She couldn't find the calendar and asked the manager—I didn't see his name, but he's the bald one—where the calendar was to see the date, but he was making himself a coffee and told her to forget about it and get the coffee ready. He drank his coffee and left. The mortified girl suggested I go later... I pointed out her boss's ZERO professionalism... I'll convince my son to go to BURGER KING.

17/01/2026: Good appetizers, and I must say the meat was excellent. I had the peppered fillet, and it was truly tender and tasty (though I asked for it to be medium rare, and it was a bit overcooked for my taste). Excellent service, and the staff were very friendly. It's a shame the desserts weren't very varied. I'll definitely be back.
