16/05/2026: I had lunch with my family and was unfortunately disappointed. The ingredients used, in my opinion, were not of the highest quality. Poor value for money. I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms.

27/12/2025: From Rome to spend Christmas with relatives, they took us to this restaurant for Christmas lunch. It was completely packed, but despite this, the service was impeccable, the courtesy was embarrassing, and there was never a single out-of-place look or expression from those guys. Not to mention the quality of the food, everything was exquisite, and with all those people, even the dessert with ricotta, jam, and mulled wine, made and fried on the spot, one by one, I'm speechless. Truly, compliments. The space is also suitable for children, with a separate room outside. Highly recommended. The only exception, if I really had to find a flaw, was the cold lighting in the restaurant with dark walls. It's a shame because warm lighting would make the place more welcoming. We'll be back, thank you.

06/08/2026: Yesterday, my friends and I spent a day of pure relaxation and pampering as guests of the family that runs Baia Petra. An environment of pure well-being: elegant, understated, quiet, refined, intimate, and one-of-a-kind. Completely different from the mediocre standard often found in the Gargano area. The lunch, enriched with Savino Muraglia olive oil and D'arapri' sparkling wine, was superb. Everything was top-quality, starting with the bread, handmade by the owner-chef. All food was just-in-time, avoiding waste and squandering of essential ingredients that are now almost impossible to find. For those interested in spending a day in an earthly paradise, I recommend booking a beach umbrella and lunch. Upon arrival, please indicate your preferred dishes. The setting is authentic and wonderful. The colors are vibrant and relaxed. The staff is polite and discreet. A special thanks to the young lifeguard. Intelligent and well-mannered. 19/07/2026: Thanks to Mother Nature, the place is beautiful, and the restaurant is cool, modern, but charming. Unfortunately, it lacks the hospitality, courtesy, and shaded parking typical of the Gargano. No half-day passes, you always pay the full €30. To create something exclusive, you also need to know how to do it; simply decorating and raising the price list isn't enough.

20/07/2026: Rooms from the 1980s that needed a complete overhaul. Central air conditioning set to 27°C (80°F) because the thermostat in the room was uncontrollable. When the toilet was filling up, the bathroom felt like Niagara Falls. TV with 5 channels. Don't book full board; the restaurant felt like a military canteen. Breakfast was limited. The only positives were the shuttle to the beach and free soft drinks.

28/06/2026: The outdoor location where I ate is decidedly noisy and doesn't allow for a peaceful dinner: the tables are too close together and it was very hot, with cockroaches jumping on the tables. Not to mention the wait time: my order was taken at 10:29 PM and the pizza arrived at 11:29 PM. I was also told they had run out of burrata to put on one pizza. The owners were very bitter.

30/05/2026: I'm giving it 5 stars because I can't give it more. My husband and daughter and I went here tonight. We already knew the place, and after years, we found the same warm welcome and excellent quality. Spectacular staff and an exceptional restaurant.

14/09/2025: We wanted to enjoy a pizza from this place and asked if it was possible to take it away, since our child was asleep in the camper. Unfortunately, we were told that takeaway pizza was not available. Just a few minutes later, however, we saw some locals picking up pizzas to go. This was disappointing and made us feel treated differently as visitors. Later, we also asked if it was possible to change some money for parking, but were told that they had no cash at all.

17/04/2026: I got married yesterday, April 16th, and I decided to celebrate it with them after seeing their website on Instagram. I went in person, and Valentina was very, very kind and friendly in showing me the whole structure and explaining how it works. What can I say? I immediately booked the date, and I celebrated there yesterday! The entire staff was unique, they followed us step by step and were by my side for everything, they even helped me clean my wedding dress, which had gotten dirty twice! 🤣 The lunch was excellent, we created a menu together with Valentina based on our tastes. The welcome entrance outside was fabulous! In the dining room, appetizers, first and second courses, all you can eat because the waiters always came by for seconds! The cake was made by them. Oh my, I've never eaten such a good wedding cake!!! I had made a request, and it was accepted and recreated exactly as I had asked, always talking about the cake (I'm attaching a photo). And when we returned to the dining room to eat the cake, the waitresses arrived with the dessert buffet, HUGE BABAs 😍 everyone was in disbelief, and so many cakes, miniatures, etc., etc. That night we stayed there, where they left us a nice bottle of prosecco in the superior room (beautiful!!) and above all, SO CLEAN!!!! Oh, I forgot, Valentina decorated the room for me with colorful flowers, gorgeous! I highly recommend, highly recommend, coming to celebrate here! I will never forget this day because it was truly a fairytale! The staff are amazing, very kind, and always with a big smile… ❤️ Thank you all, thanks to the owner and Valentina, thanks to the waitresses and the chefs, who cooked everything with love and passion, thanks to all the staff! 25/08/2026: Bar and bistro located in the charming village of Monte Sant'Angelo in the province of Foggia. Simple and elegant location on three levels. The first courses are good, especially the orecchiette with turnip tops and the mixed roast. The service is good, and the quality/price ratio is average.
