07/12/2025: Il Caratino presents itself as a pleasant meeting place, thanks in large part to its location: the sea view is the only real highlight, creating a relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant view.
Otherwise, however, everything remains utterly mediocre. The cuisine isn't surprising; the dishes are ordinary and lacking in character, and the service leaves little to be desired. This is a place that could offer much more, but it's simply "passable."
In short: a good place to meet and enjoy the view, but not for those seeking quality or a true gastronomic experience.

01/05/2026: Located in a very convenient transit point for travelers, just a few meters from the highway entrance, strategic for those working.
It's a shame because, given its location in a crucial area, this place has great potential.
The menu includes four first courses, four second courses, and two side dishes.
The first courses and the meat are good, all at a reasonable price.
Inside, it's a bit impersonal and cold. The staff is courteous, if a bit inexperienced. Ample parking is available. I give ⭐⭐⭐ for the above. I hope you improve because the food, and especially the location, is good.
I'll take this opportunity to return to try the 🍕

24/08/2025: We rented two sun loungers and an umbrella. They were very kind, helpful, and very quick.
We took advantage of the opportunity to have lunch. The dishes were very good, but the only flaw is that there's no menu with prices displayed because it changes daily, so the price was somewhat unexpectedly high. Overall, recommended!
15/08/2025: Had lunch. Excellent dishes in a simple location with a sea view. The only flaw, which I'd already read in other reviews, is that you order without knowing the cost of the dishes.
The service charge isn't shown on the receipt, just the total.

This morning I went to book my son's birthday party. I asked the girl at the coffee shop if she could explain, and she very kindly told me that the girl in charge of birthdays was coming at 12, but she would check availability. She couldn't find the calendar and asked the manager—I didn't see his name, but he's the bald one—where the calendar was to see the date, but he was making himself a coffee and told her to forget about it and get the coffee ready. He drank his coffee and left. The mortified girl suggested I go later... I pointed out her boss's ZERO professionalism... I'll convince my son to go to BURGER KING.

29/03/2026: The food was good and plentiful, although I would have put less on the appetizer and perhaps added a few mussels and two slices of salmon, rather than too much octopus and calamari (just a suggestion, of course).
The service was very young and very courteous, so I found it impeccable and friendly.
The place is simple but very welcoming, although I would prefer just one entrée and not like yesterday, where they made us go from one entrée to another in the pouring rain.
The prices are low, so I'll return, perhaps to add a fifth star.
Rating 8.5!!!

22/11/2025: A small, simple, almost spartan village with a bar, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, synthetic soccer field, and evening entertainment. Excellent location, close to a supermarket and a stone's throw from the sea. Very quiet for a relaxing holiday.

22/04/2026: I strongly advise against it for those who don't like sharing every corner with dogs. In my experience, this place is suitable for people who want to vacation with their dogs. You basically share the dining area, and everyone is welcome without a muzzle. You might find them under your table. The food is definitely not locally sourced, and of poor quality.
04/11/2025: The hotel has many advantages: a beautiful view, nice rooms. I wasn't happy with the food; it was sparse, tasteless, and very basic. It didn't feel like a hotel. The climb up and down to and from the beach was very tiring because the steps are high, making it difficult to navigate, especially uphill. Fortunately, there was a shuttle service at certain times of the day.

12/12/2025: I've ordered wine from this store twice, and both times I've received the wrong bottle; I've ordered Ernesto Ruffo Amarone Riserva 2012 twice, and I've received Ernesto Ruffo Amarone 2013 twice. I live in the Netherlands, so it's not very convenient and, above all, quite disappointing. These are two different wines, from different vintages. I've received the inferior one twice.
02/11/2025: A beautiful and well-stocked wine shop in the center of Verona, just steps from Piazza Bra. The atmosphere is very pleasant and refined, and the selection of wines, particularly local ones (Valpolicella, Soave, Lugana), is truly remarkable, including a nice selection of labels from smaller wineries. There's also an interesting whisky and grappa section, featuring top-notch labels. The owners (Alberto and Lorenzo) are incredibly knowledgeable and generous with recommendations.

30/08/2025: Friendly atmosphere, very kind and always smiling staff, really good food and a special mention for the raw fish.
26/08/2025: Initially, they told us we needed to reserve, but then they kindly gave us a table on the outdoor terrace. We had a lovely evening at dinner, and I can definitely say the dishes were excellent. My wife and I had spaghetti with squid ink and shrimp tartare with orange slices...a delicacy...then a tuna steak with arugula and cherry tomatoes, a real treat, all accompanied by an excellent white wine and a dessert to finish. The price is a little higher than average, but considering it's a tourist destination, that's understandable...a couple will spend between €50-60.
The location is very central in the historic center, and the staff is very kind and friendly.
I highly recommend it 😉 🤙🏼

08/11/2025: A very nice place in the heart of Siponto. In the winter, it's a quiet spot for a peaceful coffee just steps from the sea. The aperitifs are excellent, and we weren't disappointed at lunch either. In the summer, it's at the heart of Siponto's nightlife. Recommended.
