Passing through on our way to Vieste, we stopped at Braceria Cariglia. As soon as we entered, we saw the display cases full of meat, all beautifully fresh and prepared with every detail to entice people to buy it. The best part is that in addition to the excellent grilled meat, there are excellent side dishes of caponata, raspberries, dried tomatoes, and buffalo mozzarella. Drinks are a real treat, as they are available at the same price as the purchase without any extra top-ups. I recommend it to everyone. The staff is incredibly kind and always smiling. Thank you for the wonderful evening we spent together.

We wanted to try buying our meat in the shop and having it cooked over charcoal right away. It was delicious and the cooking was exceptional 👏. Please note that the shop prices are for takeout; for meat cooked on-site, it ranges from €21.90 to €50 depending on the cuts chosen. Don't forget to add the cover charge of €3 per person. The best thing about being there off-season is the peaceful atmosphere; it's something to experience in the height of summer! We highly recommend it for a treat, even if the price seems high, especially for families. The quality is definitely there!! We would definitely go back 👍💪

18/04/2026: We were there on Thursday and had two simple margheritas. We were intrigued by the high donut-shaped edge... the inside was decidedly raw. Obviously, this is my opinion of the place, very nice and simple, the guys were very polite and helpful.
08/04/2026: The pizza is good, like the Neapolitan one.

22/05/2026: During our visit to the Padre Pio Shrine, my friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner that evening, but the food didn't live up to the warm welcome. The pasta sauce was a bit too acidic, and the pasta itself didn't drain well. The pizzas were well-seasoned and cooked well, but the dough wasn't very good. We also tried their homemade desserts, but in my opinion they were definitely industrial and tasteless. We were a bit disappointed.
