21/07/2025: Il Fagiano remains one of the few beautiful, classy places, with consistently refined yet unfussy cuisine. Ideal whether you want to enjoy an excellent lunch/dinner or plan a reception, its legendary dishes haven't changed much over time; they've evolved and improved, but they're still a guarantee of excellence! My only regret is the retirement of their legendary pastry chef! (Not that the desserts aren't delicious anymore, but...the legendary Angelo....) I recommend everyone to experience Il Fagiano; you'll tell me more later.

21/06/2025: Il Fagiano was our caterer at the wedding at Masseria Don Luigi on June 9th, I couldn't ask for anything better, from the service to the food and the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. All the guests were satisfied and complimented on my choice. A special thanks to the restaurant for the excellent success of the wedding, also thanks to them. A guarantee!

13/07/2025: We have visited Puglia many times and Masseria Palombara is one of the very best places we've stayed. It has a peaceful atmosphere and is stylishly decorated. The restaurant serves excellent cuisine in a romantic setting. The Masseria is run by a charming and friendly team. We would highly recommend it.

An ancient farmhouse transformed into a little gem where kind and attentive staff will welcome you, allowing you to spend a few days away from the crowd, surrounded by the sound of cicadas, a refreshing pool, a spa, massages, and an outdoor cinema! And finally, you can enjoy excellent dishes made with local ingredients while sipping expertly recommended wines and cocktails in an unforgettable atmosphere. Thanks to the entire Masseria Palombara team for welcoming us with a smile and for allowing us to celebrate our anniversary in a way we will never forget!

15/08/2025: Truly an experience to remember and return to. This fabulous place has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ancient ruins of Mesagne. That alone is worth coming in. Then you can choose your own meat and have it cooked to order. It's truly special, with mostly local products. I recommend my favorite dish, the turcinelli. They're spectacular. The staff is friendly and professional. The draft beer is also excellent. What can I say? Thank you for your dedication! Six stars!

06/08/2025: A great discovery. You can choose your meat and watch it cook in front of you. The servers are active and efficient. The meat is very good quality! I recommend it! And good value for money, not too expensive.

04/08/2025: A pleasant dinner: we tried several different versions of bombette, both classic and revisited. Some surprised us, others less so, but overall we were satisfied. The outdoor atmosphere was very pleasant, with tables in the square and the lights creating a beautiful setting. Prices were reasonable. The staff were helpful. The only issue to note: the bathrooms were not fully usable, with a door that wouldn't close and no sign indicating otherwise. Nothing serious, but a little more attention would improve the experience. Overall, a good stop for a casual evening in Brindisi.

23/08/2025: A charming place to enjoy excellent dishes served with courtesy. The passion for fine dining here is palpable, something rare, especially in holiday resorts.

14/08/2025: The atmosphere and food were excellent. I would kindly ask the restaurant to update the menu prices because on the official website, a first course costs €9, but when you arrive, you'll pay around €17. Furthermore, a €6 cover charge for two people, and receiving one artichoke for €7, and the bread arriving after the first course, I find truly embarrassing. €52 for two first courses, an appetizer, and a water is honestly a bit excessive.

18/07/2025: Tasteless dishes, slow service, noisy setting... Nothing makes you want to come back. Huge disappointment. The price of €3.50 for a plate is ridiculous.

17/07/2025: The staff is highly professional. The green spaces are very well-kept. The appetizers are top-notch. The accompanying dishes are delicious.

13/07/2025: Spacious hotel, beautiful reception areas, lovely lounges, and a romantic bar. A magnificent pool and comfortable armchairs. Large rooms. Two points marred our stay. A permanent, terrible smell of sweat in the room and on the beds, partly coming from the comforters and mattresses. Disappointing industrial breakfast. A single machine that makes poor-quality coffee for everyone. Expensive evening restaurant for average services. Great potential, the location is magnificent, but the services lack professionalism.

04/08/2025: A superb discovery in a small alleyway. You choose your meat which is then grilled. Taste the pistachio bombettes, a pure delight accompanied by a good local rosé.

29/08/2025: Finally found a beach club worth a return visit. Coccaro Beach Club has a pleasant sand beach located within an alcove with the clearest of seas. Bathing is a pleasure and the facilities are clean and complemented by attentive staff. Lunch on the waters edge was accompanied by a pleasant sea breeze, some bubbles and fresh fish. Perfect ingredients for a slow lunch. Menu obviously favours fish but somewhat limiting for the carnivores amongst us. The club is child friendly and quite secure. A good time was had by all. Returned two days later only to have missed an irritating feature that unfortunately downgrades the establishment to just another Italian disappointment. I noticed a €16 discrepancy between two exact bottles of bubbly, one ordered on the beach and the other ordered in the dining area. When queried, I was proudly informed that there is a surcharge for ordering on the beach! The beach and the dining area is equidistant from the bar! I walked it! It is so typically petty and very disappointing from such an establishment to be penny pinching. As if the waiters would not be tipped! Given the mentality I would be surprised if the surcharge is shared with the waiters. Italians have a habit of capping the hospitality experience with unnecessarily annoying but with obvious avariciousness. So few establishments are able to break through this barrier. They comfortably fool themselves that nobody will notice. We all do! Downgrade buffering…

06/06/2025: Don't look at the dishes, let yourself be carried away by her whispered description and the watercolor he paints. Then approach the dishes and wines with comfortable shoes to cross the fields and the farms of the area. Wear a smile and happiness will sit next to you

20/08/2025: My husband and I arrived in Ceglie Messapica around 2:30 PM after a long journey, wandering through the town tired and hungry as wolves, but luckily we found this delightful little place still open. Despite the late hour, the owners kindly seated us and served us a tasty mix of local cured meats and cheeses, as well as a selection of delicious vegetables in oil prepared by them, all washed down with an excellent Rebo. Excellent quality ingredients, flavors that express the full spirit of Puglia, and we will never forget the genuine courtesy with which we were welcomed. Absolutely fair prices. A place to keep in mind for a return visit.

11/06/2025: Bombette, vegetables and potatoes superlative. High quality at reasonable prices. Excellent meat. No first courses or pucce, bread to be improved. Very pleasant service, they offered us a chocolate fig and a very good cantuccio. Recommended :)

21/08/2025: A truly welcoming place, with very good food (especially pizza and pasta dishes), and the legendary waiter Spillo, who adds a touch of humor and jokes to every course. Must try at least once if you're in Ostuni 😊

21/07/2025: The service was a bit hit and miss, but it quickly recovered with excellent food. The double-cooked octopus was fantastic.
