16/01/2026: A great find, Antonio is super welcoming and kind, and the cuisine is simple but high-quality. I recommend the carbonara.

24/12/2025: Nice and welcoming place. The service was also good. The fish was fresh and smelled of the sea... but the first and second courses didn't satisfy me... definitely worth seeing again.

31/10/2025: The restaurant is very welcoming, as is the staff. Excellent meal, with every course, and plenty of pampering to boot. High-quality ingredients, balanced and beautifully presented dishes, and a mouth-watering house dessert. We'll definitely be back. Being allowed to bring our dog was much appreciated.

It's great to be able to see the fresh meat right in the refrigerator. Very friendly staff. Exceptional wine. We drank a magnificent Aglianico. We will definitely be back.

15/11/2025: A TREASURE FIND IN BRINDISI... not easily accessible on foot, but if you're driving, you can't miss this place. A peaceful atmosphere, thoughtfully decorated. EVERYTHING WAS IMPECCABLE... (because I'm the type to inspect even the salt shakers...) The gentleman who served us was polite and friendly. It had been a while since I'd eaten food that was HOT and HOT... I like it piping hot, and the gnocchi alla sorrentina will be HARD TO FORGET... served in a piping hot clay pot... we didn't need to ask for extra cheese... it came without us even having to ask... something I often notice. My husband ordered a beef tagliata with Parmesan and arugula... and the presentation was one of the best I've ever seen... and it's a dish we order a lot. If not tonight, we'll be there TOMORROW... again... I repeat, A TREASURE FIND. Just to add something, I'd have individual panna coulis for coffee (unrefrigerated...the ones from Lidl...)...for those who like it strong, and I prefer sparkling water with real gas... to slightly carbonated water...

The appetizer was also excellent; those meatballs were really good. The owner even offered us a amaro. An experience we absolutely will repeat.

30/10/2025: This restaurant will forever remain in my heart. I booked Pentole e Provette to celebrate my 8th birthday with my girlfriend. We've always wanted to try a "higher-end" restaurant, but we never expected such an experience. And I'm not just talking about the food, which is obviously fantastic (spaghettone was the real highlight of the evening), but about the passion, care, and attention that Luca and Rossella consistently and never overbearingly exude, as they describe their dishes with meticulous attention, respect, and truly PLEASURE, or simply as they ask if everything is okay and bring you more bread, because no one should take the bread away from you. They call themselves the "ferrymen" to Michelin-starred restaurants, but as far as I'm concerned, I've never had an experience so convivial yet so full of care, logic, experience, and dedication. We had a chance to chat with Rossella after dinner, and I can only wish them both the best for the future; they deserve it all. ❣️ P.S. Thanks for the surprise 💗

Both him and his wife run this wonderful bistro right on the historic center square and it is the place to be should you visit Ostuni and want to spend quality time with friends having an Aperetivo, the cherished Italian pre dinner ritual.
