19/05/2026: Recently, and for the first time in my life, I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant. I'll start by saying that my tastes are very particular, as are the details I pay attention to, so I ask you to read my review with a certain lightheartedness and spontaneity. From the outside, La Banchina focuses heavily on the view overlooking the harbor, which is especially appreciated during the warmer seasons. So, if you want to enjoy the view, I recommend requesting a table under the outdoor roof, where possible. Inside, you'll find a place that exudes its years of activity: almost thirty years of charm, lived-in, warm, well-maintained yet at the same time neglected in small details. However, I really appreciated the use of courtesy towels in the restrooms, which certainly contribute to a lower environmental impact. The menu offers a variety of dishes and drinks to choose from: the raw seafood was certainly fresh and high-quality, but in my opinion, the plating of many dishes and the flavors of others were very classic and unoriginal. I had the opportunity to try their lemon sorbet and tiramisu, which was among the desserts available, but the latter had a strong eggy flavor, and I stopped after the first taste. I'll continue by saying that I was very disappointed to notice, beyond his undeniable experience, that one of the waiters was quite prone to engaging in informal conversation and not paying full attention, probably due to the large number of customers. Furthermore, I didn't have much space available, neither on the table nor in the immediate area around it. My experience wasn't entirely negative or positive, which is why I'm rating it with 3 stars. 17/05/2026: Superlative dishes, simple in their simplicity, top-notch ingredients!!! Mimmo is super special! The chef's spaghetti alone is worth the trip!

24/05/2026: Unfortunately, the service was unprofessional and unfriendly. Since we didn't have our phones, we asked for a menu. They said there wasn't one and pressured us to order. Later, we found one at the next table, which was occupied by Italian guests. The pizzas alone aren't worth coming back for.

05/05/2026: This restaurant is not just a pizzeria, but also a grill. The pizza is very thin but delicious and, above all, very digestible. While the meat was some of the best I had in Puglia during my vacation, I recommend the T-bone.

06/06/2026: Fantastic pizza (one of the best in the city and beyond), made by a top-notch pizza chef and prepared with quality ingredients. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly, and they cater to all dietary needs, including celiac disease. As a famous TV chef says, a 10!

03/06/2026: If you have 100 seats, don't take reservations for double! Reservations for 10 people at 10:00 PM on Saturday night, but we got there at 12:30 AM! A constant delay: "20 minutes and the table will be free." Once we were seated, it took another hour to at least get us the drinks we were thirsty! Not to mention: a friend got the wrong pizza at 1 AM! We left at 2 PM! When we explained the inconvenience at the cash register, we expected at least some kindness, but instead we found the opposite! So we had the money on the counter with €3 less to even out a bill for 10 people! He demanded that too... the scene was already heated. Too bad I forgot to ask for the receipt! Obviously omitted... Terrible service and rude and arrogant OWNER! In my opinion, the entire mismanagement of the service and the fact of taking as many reservations as possible was solely due to his instructions. But don't you think that 10 people who had a bad experience choosing a pizzeria for Saturday night, even with other people, would only speak badly of it and never return for years? Who knows... Success in the winter of 2024, but the memory is still vivid in my mind!

12/05/2026: Excellent food. Thin-crust pizza. The parmigiana terrines and gnocchi with homemade bread are very good. Recommended.

10/05/2026: A good pizzeria offering appetizers, grilled meats, and pizzas. I ordered a Santa Maria di Giano pizza with stracciatella, crumbled tarallo, capocollo, and cherry tomatoes. The pizza was good, well-topped, and flavorful. Excellent table service and very competitive prices.

08/03/2026: A unique experience! The chef's dishes are a unique experience! The flavors are delicate and never overpowering...the pumpkin and swordfish main course was my favorite, and my husband's absolute favorite was the deconstructed tiramisu! I've never had a better dessert!! We'd been away from this experience for too long (he was our wedding chef)...not to mention the location, the private seating, the attentive and always kind staff, and the chef, always on top, leaves nothing for granted with excellent raw materials! ...We can't wait to go back! 😍😋

10/05/2026: A quiet Saturday evening with friends, we had dinner with a variety of pizzas and Roman-style pinsa. The result was excellent; you could taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients; I enjoyed the pinsa dough. The service was attentive and reasonably fast considering the Saturday crowds. RECOMMENDED!!

20/03/2026: We booked a suite stay. The facility is not modern, but it's well-maintained. The suite features a hot tub, ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat with their partner. Breakfast in the morning offers a variety of options: croissants, fruit, snacks, sweets, yogurt, and jams. Wellness program includes a hot tub, Turkish bath, sensory showers, and a Finnish sauna with a relaxation room where herbal tea is served to conclude the experience. Silvia is kind and available to answer any questions. Room for improvement: when we arrived, the room windows were open, so we were greeted coldly. We also found a cigarette that wasn't ours. When we booked, we weren't told to bring anything for the program, so we were unprepared at the time. Silvia was kind in resolving the issue, but we would have preferred more clarity when booking. There was no toilet paper in the women's locker room, and the hairdryer didn't work in the men's locker room. Overall, the value for money was good. We left satisfied and happy.

01/01/2026: Good morning, ladies, I'm Ivano from Milan. As promised, here's my positive review. Your typical Barletta desserts (I'm referring to cartellate) are truly delicious. I'll be trying the pastiera soon, and I'm sure it will be as good as the cartellate. I recommend everyone to try this pastry shop, it far exceeds my expectations. I have to say that it's not a Neapolitan pastiera 1 because it doesn't have 7 stripes, and the 5th stripes they made aren't prominent—that's because of the appearance. Unfortunately, you can't taste the ricotta AT ALL, there's no candied fruit, and it's poor. In my humble opinion, it's right for everyone to make their own typical dessert, regardless of their town or city. Unfortunately, it's nothing like the real Neapolitan pastiera. Don't buy it from them.
