07/04/2024: I was here for the fixed menu Easter Monday lunch, but I promised myself I would return and try the à la carte menu. From what I could taste, the Easter Monday menu was particular and refined, perhaps a little less so for the second course (the capers were really too salty) and the dessert (a cake made with carrot and tasteless cream). I expected something more from the service, the waitress didn't present the dishes as another waiter did, and they didn't stop to talk to us despite having visibly openly done so with other guests

31/03/2024: Very suggestive location. Good but not great food. I think a place that offers 100 euro tastings should definitely offer better service. I didn't experience high-level table service, although they were still very kind. The clean dishes arrived still wet and slightly dull due to wear and tear. In general I perceived the place as a little too chaotic and with little attention to detail and cleanliness.

23/01/2024: We stopped by chance for lunch at this delightful restaurant and it was a pleasant discovery. We tasted some excellent starters and fresh pasta first courses! The fish is very fresh and the prices are very fair (the first ones are around €11/13). However, what really pleased us was the professionalism and attention given to us by the dining room staff and the owner. You made us feel like guests, not ordinary customers! Thanks 😊

10/03/2024: The food is excellent, the dishes are well presented even if the ingredients are not particularly refined. The first courses are really good, probably more so than the second courses (at least from my minimal one-time direct experience). The place is really small inside, so you risk finding the room full and there being confusion. To avoid unpleasant surprises at the time of the bill, I recommend not giving the restaurant manager carte blanche in organizing the menu but choosing the courses yourself after indicating the cost (otherwise you risk a 3-figure bill)

05/04/2024: We were there on Easter Monday, obviously we had to wait a bit because the place had few outdoor seats (they told me that in summer they obviously equip themselves differently), we were welcomed with courtesy and kindness and we ate really well. I recommend it to everybody

24/03/2024: I ate dishes from appetizers to desserts that I had never tasted, original and imaginative of excellent quality, a fixed menu lunch chosen by the scheff that I highly recommend, you come out full and not weighed down, both in your belly and in your pocket.

31/03/2024: I was born and lived in Trani for 30 years and I have never eaten better in my life. Each dish, from the traditional orecchiette to the horse brasciole ragù (it's not a mistake, that's what they say) to the revisitations, is a masterpiece born of passion for the good and the beautiful. Highly recommended. And if you read otherwise, don't believe him.

31/03/2024: Very friendly service with lovely home cooking. We also enjoyed the free taster dishes of some of their specialities. Although we were only in Trani for 3 nights, we couldn't resist going back for a 2nd time on our last night and received an even warmer welcome. The building was also fascinating. It was undeservedly quiet on both visits so don't be put off by this.

24/03/2024: Very friendly and welcoming owners! Amazing food on a hand written menu available in italian, english and german. "eggplant cake" was like a special lasagna and everything else tasted formidable as well. Ambiente is special and maybe not to everyones liking but definitively worth a visit!

31/03/2024: The staff welcomed us very helpfully even though we hadn't booked and immediately found us a place for two, even though I noticed that in a small way she was annoyed by this. The waiter who came to take the order was very pleasant and sociable. The restaurant is very welcoming with countless tables with heaters next to them to keep the environment always warm. The parking is excellent with a large area and a very friendly guard. The location is outside the city with a sea view, excellent for a night walk to digest. The waiting times were very short even though I had ordered the marinated octopus and French fries, a small note about the octopus, it was very pleasant to the taste but it seemed very dry to me when eating it, the plating was fantastic. The pizzas were very good although one came out slightly burnt. The price exceeded my expectations and I would have expected much more but instead it was cheap for what I ate.

30/03/2024: Minimalist ambience, homemade warm bread with fruity olive oil and sophisticated, excellent and well-composed dishes in which the aromas of the products are largely retained. Highly recommended!

22/03/2024: A restaurant chosen a bit at random that really satisfied us! The place is well looked after and the kitchen is very organised! Super friendly and helpful staff, quick service. For the cost of the first courses we expected a slightly larger portion, but we're not complaining. The choice is wide and the quality really high, very fresh fish!!! Excellent location, opposite the port of Trani and with numerous car parks in the surrounding area. We spent just under €50 each. All in all not bad!
