08/01/2026: I've been to Peschef in Trani more than once, and each time has been a truly pleasant experience. The restaurant is in a stunning location, right on the harbor, and the view as you arrive or sit down makes everything special. Sitting here, with the sea in front of you, the boats, and the salty scent of the sea, creates a unique atmosphere that perfectly complements the food. The menu focuses on fresh fish, with meticulous preparation: fish sandwiches, tartare, fried fish, and other typical specialties that combine authentic flavor and lightness. Every time I've visited, I've found everything to be truly fresh and well-made; you can sense the attention to the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes. I've tried several dishes and have never been disappointed: the flavors are bold yet balanced, and the portions are satisfying. The restaurant isn't huge, so at peak times it can get a bit crowded, but the staff is always friendly, helpful, and organized, managing the clientele without creating stress. The wait has never been long, even when it's crowded, and you're served with professionalism and courtesy. Both the inside and outside areas are meticulously clean, and the atmosphere is tidy and pleasant. The outdoor tables allow you to fully enjoy the harbor view and the seaside atmosphere, making your lunch or dinner a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Prices are slightly higher than other places, but considering the quality of the ingredients, the freshness of the fish, and the overall experience, they're more than justified. It's a place where you know you'll spend a little more, but you'll return satisfied and eager to repeat the experience. In short, Peschef is a must-visit for anyone visiting Trani and loving quality seafood. Excellent food, attentive service, a spectacular harbor location, and a unique atmosphere: a place I recommend without hesitation, whether for a quick break or a pleasant dinner with friends or family.

15/10/2025: Attracted by the videos on social media, we went to try the famous panzerotti... truly disappointed... raw panzerotto inside... burnt pizza underneath and topped with pieces of unspeakable cheese that hadn't even melted... the worst 16 euros we've ever spent...

08/10/2025: Simple, nice atmosphere, but a bit sterile. Service was average, but for a weeknight, a bit distracted, considering there were four of us dining in the entire restaurant. The food, unfortunately, fell far short of expectations; I'd say it was completely inadequate, both in quantity and quality. The tuna was truly awful; as you can see from the photo, it looked more like seared tuna than a piece of pork thrown on a plate for the modest sum of €25... I'd say there's a lot to consider!

29/07/2025: What a wonderful place! We had a fantastic meal; the risotto was sublime. Our starter, recommended by the waitress, was fantastic: tomato with red prawns. Delicious! The wines by the glass paired beautifully, and the advice was excellent. Delicious dishes, carefully prepared and served. Highly recommended!

26/10/2025: A truly negative experience. We went in for gelato and, since it was raining, sat at an empty table. A very young barista immediately came out to tell us that "they don't seat people who only order cups or cones," and asked us to get up. Shortly afterward, however, we saw four other people sit right in our place, without even having ordered yet. This was rude and inconsistent behavior, which gave the impression of a lack of attention to customers. It's a shame, because a little kindness and common sense would have made the experience pleasant.

26/10/2025: My partner and I ordered a bowl of ice cream and, of course, sat down after ordering. After a few minutes, the staff member came over and asked us to leave our seats, as she had to seat others. I, of course, argued that we'd consumed our drinks anyway and were therefore entitled to a seat, but she responded by saying that you can't sit at a table for the bowls. We found this very unfair. But, other than that, the quality of the bar is excellent.

11/03/2026: A truly "fantastic" pizza. An explosion of authentic flavors and the freshest ingredients. "The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a light, well-leavened dough. The tomato was fresh and flavorful, the salami was rich and spicy just right, and the stringy mozzarella rounded it all off sublimely." "The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff very kind and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable." This will be our go-to place for pizza in Bisceglie. Excellent value.

10/03/2026: We've been going every Thursday for over a year now, and every time, everything is perfect: the service, the cleanliness, the food. The best pizza in Bisceglie, hands down.

15/02/2026: We've been regular customers for a while now, and the meat selection is excellent, along with appetizers and pizzas that are nothing short of spectacular. THE GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS ARE EXCELLENT. Nicola, Maria, and the staff welcomed us and made us feel at home right away; the staff was very friendly and professional. The Valentine's Day lunch was top-notch, with all the fresh and authentic seafood. I highly recommend this experience. As a Tranese, I rediscover the flavors, traditions, and heart of home that few others like Nicola and Maria can offer their customers here in Trani. 01/02/2026: Good morning, last night I went to your restaurant for the first time (nothing to say about the location). Friends and I wanted to try pizza, so my review is limited to the pizza only. I was very disappointed. You should change the menu to say "crêpes" and not "pizza!" I understand those who don't like Neapolitan pizza, but you overdid it with the thinness! They arrived at the table in record time after ordering (were they precooked? Frozen?)... burnt... but I understand how you can adjust the cooking if they are so super thin? Last but not least, last night I had terrible heartburn... the aftertaste was due to poor digestion... poor quality? I don't know... I'll never go back... A piece of advice: change the sign... remove the "pizzeria" sign and leave it as a restaurant... it's not for you! Reply to the owner: I stopped at your place because of the rain, yes, it's true... but instead of appreciating my discreet behavior, you preferred to criticize it! I would like to point out that this is a review and not low-level gossip, as you might have preferred! Have a good evening.

18/10/2025: This restaurant serves pizza, focaccia barese, chips, panzerotti, and fried calzones—for takeout or with about fifteen seats inside. There are no restrooms. Long lines form in the evenings due to high demand.

31/01/2026: Don't expect dishes with special effects, because we are talking about typical cuisine from the Bari area, simple dishes such as orecchiette with ragù, braciole, favetta and chicory etc etc, dishes that represent the warmth and traditions of our area, but prepared with taste, truly excellent, staff with obsessive politeness and always smiling, rustic place very down to earth, already from the entrance you understand that here they get straight to the point

16/02/2026: VALENTINE'S DAY 2026 I understand the low cost of €35 per person, but I wasn't particularly satisfied. The appetizers were paltry, I'd say. Perhaps I would have enjoyed the dish more if the two portions had been placed on a central plate. The first courses were overflowing with cream. The cheesecake was nothing like cheesecake; I'd say it was a hastily arranged dessert. The dining room was packed with people, with only two canners because, according to the owner, he hadn't expected such a large turnout. Who knows?

10/01/2026: A New Year's Eve lunch to forget, the atmosphere felt like being in a shed, we ate almost nothing, rubbery gnocchi, seafood straight out of the cold storage!!!

01/10/2025: Surprised Morgi e Gusta doesn’t have higher ratings. We got two lunches here and loved them. Tasty and diverse food options; super fair pricing; really friendly and welcoming. Food is also healthy and fresh. This should be a go to spot for tourists. I think it already is for locals. Thank you for a great meal!
