13/04/2026: Historic ice cream shop in Barletta, very good ice creams and an excellent location, highly recommended.
28/02/2026: The gelato is good, certainly much better than many other competitors, both nearby and further afield.
To truly assess the gelato's quality, I opt for the hazelnut and pistachio, as always.
The flavors are quite distinct on the palate, but I think they could be improved.
The location is near the train station, making parking difficult during peak hours.
The interior is very simple.

13/04/2026: Saturday evening, after dinner at a trattoria near Via Nazareth in Barletta, it's customary to stroll along the main street; a glance at Ersclio, always majestic, on the left, but then we turn our gaze to the right and see the line at the ice cream shop "on the main street." We're tempted to try the first cone of the season, so we go in. After a short wait (to be honest), we go in and order two-flavor cones (each for €3.50), seven veils and Sicilian cassata: I'd say that, without taking anything away from the others, it's among the tastiest ever—8 on a scale of ten. Some might say, why not more than an 8? Well, because as a fan of artisanal ice cream, I've tried hundreds of ice cream shops everywhere, and I can assure you that for variety and flavor, there are places where I could have breakfast, lunch, and dinner based on ice cream. In any case, I'm a loyal customer of this establishment.

21/03/2026: I'm writing this review directly from the restaurant so I don't forget anything.
We made a reservation at 8:00 PM. We arrived and ordered a few minutes later. Two pizzas and a sliced steak. We saw people arriving after us receiving their dinner before us. We requested service. At 9:00 PM, the pizzas arrived. But not the sliced steak. At 9:15 PM, the pizzas were finished and finally the sliced steak arrived. It should have been 300 grams, but it wasn't even close. The meat was bland and hard to chew. The pizzas were good, but honestly, there were too many things wrong with them. I had already been disappointed before, but things only got worse.

15/02/2026: Perfect and delicious Valentine's Day dinner. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly service. It's a great place to celebrate and spend an evening with friends. I would gladly return.
A small aside, special attention and dedication to celiacs.

30/08/2025: Disappointing service and rather long wait times, especially for a grilled chicken breast. The panzerotti weren't very good, and some were even cold. Not to mention the coffee.

25/05/2025: The only positive note was the fairly decent pizza. We sat down as soon as we arrived but waited a good two hours for a pizza, leaving us at the last table. Service was very slow and disorganized. It was also a terrible idea to open the summer location in May when it's still cold in the evenings. Prices were a bit high, but the food quality was quite good. I wouldn't return for a number of reasons.

If you're looking for a place where cuisine meets the soul, you've come to the right place. We just finished a tasting experience that to call "fantastic" would be an understatement.
Every course was a story. Chef Pantaleo's mastery shines through in every detail: from the bold yet balanced pairings to the presentation of the dishes, veritable paintings to be admired before even tasting. You can clearly sense a meticulous search for raw ingredients and a passion that goes far beyond simply "cooking."
The added value of the evening was the Chef himself. Despite his hard work in the kitchen, he found the time to be with us, explaining the philosophy behind his creations with humility and charisma. We felt pampered from start to finish.

03/11/2025: Terrible experience. We were bombarded with advertisements about the aperitif menu for
November 2nd. We spent €30 for this aperitif. Invisible portions of each item, extremely poor quality, and an hour-long wait.
Food cost €1 for a price of €15. Disappointing.
21/09/2025: The best friselleria in Piglia. We stopped by for dinner by chance to get a light snack, and it was a fantastic experience. Friselle with various flavors, like salmon, tomato, and mozzarella, turkey, and many other delicacies we'd never tried before. Incredibly excellent.

17/12/2025: I was there with my wife yesterday, the atmosphere was intimate and very nice. I ate some delicious sheep in the valley, not to mention the arrosticini. As usual, we had an Abruzzese pizza with truffle cream, what can I say, fantastic. Highly recommended.
16/12/2025: We were attracted by the advertisement for typical Abruzzo cuisine, but unfortunately the menu didn't live up to its promises, and as often happens when you try to do everything... the result is that nothing is done well.
The "Abruzzo" platter was supposed to include cheeses, cured meats, honey, and bruschetta... but it certainly wasn't typical.
In reality, what arrived were bresaola (which isn't Abruzzo), coppa veneta, capocollo di Martina Franca, and ventricina, as well as three flavorless Apulian caciottas with walnuts and pistachios (when Abruzzo is full of aged cheeses and pecorinos... what a shame) and three slices of cold bread from the refrigerator soaked in oil with cold cheese melted on top.
Overall poor quality!!
Unfortunately, the cured meats clearly tasted and smelled like pre-cut deli meats, an odor that lingered throughout the restaurant.
Alas, even the meat displayed in the window (above the pizza counter) didn't invite tasting, with its brown color and questionable labels, originating anything but Abruzzo.
Overall, the place is kept to a minimum, but the management is rather bizarre, not to mention embarrassing:
at least the open shirt in mid-December is decidedly unsuitable and unprofessional.
The only positive note was the young waitress, kind and composed.
Otherwise, we strongly advise against it!

02/03/2026: I went for lunch with my family for €25. The quality was generally good, with a wide variety of seafood and meat appetizers, and a choice of seafood or meat-based first course with "la brace" (grilled) as a second course, fruit, etc. (I'm speaking only from my own experience). The place is generally small, but welcoming. I enjoyed sitting and chatting with another couple near (almost snugly) our table. The atmosphere was warm and familiar. They seated us without explaining anything about appetizers, first courses, or "la brace." The appetizers and first course were all good, but the disappointment came with the "brace," which suggested a mixed grill (that's what I'd come for). I was disappointed with those four slices of pork and four tiny pieces of sausage placed on that silver tray. Another disappointment was the service, not because of the very kind staff or owner, but because the entire service was chaotic. Uncleared plates filled the entire table, while new plates were being placed on top of the dirty ones. This place has great potential; it just needs to focus more on the little things that make a big difference. I recommend putting more effort into it next time and improving your service and communication. Good luck!
25/01/2026: Pleasant atmosphere, impeccable and fast service, excellent menu, with a choice of seafood and meat, all fresh raw materials, we will definitely be back.
