Saturday evening, after dinner at a trattoria near Via Nazareth in Barletta, it's customary to stroll along the main street; a glance at Ersclio, always majestic, on the left, but then we turn our gaze to the right and see the line at the ice cream shop "on the main street." We're tempted to try the first cone of the season, so we go in. After a short wait (to be honest), we go in and order two-flavor cones (each for €3.50), seven veils and Sicilian cassata: I'd say that, without taking anything away from the others, it's among the tastiest ever—8 on a scale of ten. Some might say, why not more than an 8? Well, because as a fan of artisanal ice cream, I've tried hundreds of ice cream shops everywhere, and I can assure you that for variety and flavor, there are places where I could have breakfast, lunch, and dinner based on ice cream. In any case, I'm a loyal customer of this establishment.
