10/06/2026: Everything was excellent, from the pasticciotti to the ice cream parlor. Clean and welcoming place, very kind and helpful staff, I recommend it as a very sweet stop 🥰 for those visiting Polignano
09/06/2026: We tried two cakes: the famous lemon cake and another traditional cake soaked with alcohol. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy either of them at all. The Gelato Gallipoli also wasn't to our taste. The only thing we really liked was the cake, which was actually quite good. Another disappointing surprise was the extra charge for eating inside the shop. Charging significantly more just for sitting down feels unreasonable. Overall, the experience did not live up to the reputation.

15/07/2026: A fantastic place in the heart of Polignano a Mare! The pinse were absolutely delicious—light, crispy, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I also tried the cheeseburger, and it was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
The beers were served ice cold, which was perfect on a hot day, and the cocktails were amazing—creative, refreshing, and expertly prepared.
The atmosphere is relaxed, the location is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Malidea if you’re looking for great food, excellent drinks, and a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be back!

The service was impeccable, nothing to complain about.
And the view was incredible.

From the man at the door who is extremely annoying when he calls you in and is extremely lustful, calling me amore and things like that, I went in more to get rid of him... to the extremely miserable staff who treat you like shit, they push you to take as much as possible and treat you miserable if you don't discard it properly. From the first they look at you with superiority like, "you don't have the money to come in here", just to force you to buy. The food is not bad but not good either, it's what you would expect from a corner terrace of a block of flats not from a restaurant with exorbitant prices, absolutely embarrassing, you pay like at a luxury restaurant for a small terrace meal

16/07/2026: Full gelato cones for locals, 1/2 gelato cones for tourists. I've seen you do this the 3 times I visited. You've lost my business for good and hopefully other tourists as well. Stay away from these guys.

25/06/2026: Very poor service. We got a soda inside and ordered a coffee to drink outside. The coffee wasn't brought, so we ordered again outside. Then a cappuccino was brought first, and we said we hadn't ordered that, whereupon the waiter reacted very irritably and rolled his eyes. We then paid inside, where they also charged a coperto per person for just a drink. After that, the waiter was talking angrily about us to a colleague because he thought we hadn't paid for the soda, which we obviously had. In short, absolutely not hospitable and prices are too high, especially considering the poor service.

07/07/2026: We stopped here during our afternoon visit to Pugliano a Mare. It was hot so we sat inside where it was air conditioned. We only had pizza but it was the best pizza we had on our trip so far. The service was top notch! Would definitely recommend even if only for the pizza

21/04/2026: We had dinner with just the main course, a Florentine steak for two, baked potatoes, homemade desserts, and a good local Primitivo wine.
The meat was delicious and perfectly cooked, and everything else was good.
The service was excellent; rarely do you find such knowledgeable and courteous young people.
The price was reasonable for the quality.

Mr. Franco's welcome, Enzo's smile with his delicious cappuccinos, the super-friendly girls at the bar and at the tables, and the €1 cappuccino and €1 croissant policy make the place truly unique and human.
