28/08/2024: Summer dinner that is repeated as a tradition, year after year. Cozy place, elegant but not too formal. Superb quality raw material. Fish treated with wisdom and respect. Try typical raw black mussels, purple Gallipoli prawns and the amazing natural fish carpaccio: like tasting the sea in just a few bites. Also excellent are mussels au gratin and tasty spaghetti with the catch of the day. Pairing with Chablis 2020, at the correct serving temperature. You pay what it's worth.

09/08/2024: Highly recommended place. Family atmosphere and very welcoming. The owners are kind and very helpful. A little from the center it is a spot of tranquility and peace. There is an attention to small details that is never predictable. The rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast was rich, plentiful and varied from day to day. The restaurant confirms the characteristics of the b&b. It is characterized by good, traditional cuisine and, above all, made from products mostly of their own production.

08/08/2024: A few minutes from Polignano a Mare, this property is an oasis of tranquility. We slept really well and without any noise. Lucy was really kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent... everything was fresh and homemade.

19/08/2024: Very unpleasant welcome, not a smile, we had the impression of being a nuisance! And the food a disaster! We paid 5 euros for a vacuum-packed green salad! The tuna tartare was inedible. Frozen octopus. Go your way, it’s a tourist trap!

22/08/2024: We went this morning for breakfast (coffee and croissant. At that moment a waiter arrives and begins his shift. We "allow ourselves" to ask the flavors of the croissants so we can decide, he replies "whatever you want", except that then there 'they were only with Nutella, jam and pistachio; I ask for coffee and ginseng and we wait. Our "nice" waiter returns asking "coffee shop?", I don't understand (since I had already asked) so I ask him to repeat his answer. it was "can't you talk today?", as if I knew him or as if he could address a customer in this way. Rudeness to say the least!

21/08/2024: A must try when visiting Polignano! The Special Coffee was delicious - I really enjoyed it. Fast service which is great as it is a popular place for tourists but I didn’t wait any longer than 5 minutes

10/07/2024: In summer it is much more pleasant than in winter, as the tables are outdoors, you eat excellent meat and the appetizers are also good, the staff are polite and attentive, the only negative note, being a large location, sometimes chaotic, but above all in winter.

13/08/2024: This restaurant displays prices that do not always reflect the quality of the dishes offered. The lasagna and the hamburger (which is just a simple minced steak) disappointed us a little. However, I highly recommend the eggplant Parmigiana and Stracciatella paninis, which are really good. The service is ok. The boss, who speaks a little French, is more welcoming than some of her employees

31/08/2024: A family ran restaurant. Love the concept. Love the people. Awesome food. We had some Wagyu beef. Some pork. Some chicken. Potatoes. House wine. Everything was spot on. Including the medium rare ask on the meat. Love the vibe. Very laid back and familial. Very affordable as well. Loved it so much went back. Highly suggested.

La carne molto buona, idem i contorni tutto fatto in casa dai proprietari, cameriere molto carine e gentili…anche il conto finale per niente alto!! Rapporto qualità prezzo super!! Ci tornerei volentieri!

27/08/2024: Caruso Gelateria is an absolute must for lovers of traditional Italian ice cream in Polignano a Mare! The selection is quite manageable: from classic varieties such as stracciatella and pistachio to creative own creations. Particularly noteworthy is the fair price for the excellent quality. Anyone looking for real Italian gelato will find it here and will definitely not be disappointed. Absolutely recommended!

27/08/2024: My husband’s favourite ice cream of all Puglia! The gorgonzola was just on point and the pistachio was the perfect balance between sweet and savoury! Great little memory, one of those places you keep talking about once you arrive back from holidays :)

06/08/2024: Excellent focaccia, soft and not very greasy. So good that I decided to bring some southern flavors home, and despite the 8 hour journey, the quality remained unchanged. With every bite you can taste the heart and passion that Leo and Tonino put into their work. Add the sea view from the terrace in Polignano and you will be satisfied😉
