A 10-star pizza and an unforgettable braciola.
If you're looking for a pizza that combines tradition, top-quality ingredients, and a touch of ingenuity, Pizzeria Al Chiró is an absolute must.
The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, but the real spectacle begins as soon as you open the menu. The pizzas are exceptional: the dough is light, highly digestible, with a crispy, fragrant crust that melts in your mouth. You can taste from a mile away the meticulous attention to detail behind the leavening process and the rigorous selection of ingredients.
The highlight: The braciola with turnips.
Their now-famous braciola with turnips deserves special mention. A true masterpiece of flavor that alone is worth it! The balance of flavors is perfect: the saltiness and texture of the braciola pair divinely with the crisp, bitter note of the turnip greens. A signature dish, expertly prepared, delivering an explosion of authentic flavor with every bite.
The verdict: Attentive, fast, and always smiling service, excellent value, and cuisine that pampers the palate. Pizzeria Al Chiró has officially joined my list of favorite places. Highly recommended!

13/05/2026: Even though I'm from Bari, I'd never been to this pizzeria before, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza, the service, the table settings, and the overall decor. Their homemade desserts deserve praise, too, and I should mention that I ordered the fried zeppoline, which were absolutely freshly made and, in fact, were piping hot when they arrived. Furthermore, and no less important than other factors, the ease of finding parking thanks to the large outdoor space. I'll gladly return. I highly recommend it.
