10/06/2026: Horrible experience! We booked with the voucher found in a Baci Perugina egg. The place needs a makeover, the owner was incredibly cold, and the waitress was quite inexperienced. But that's not the real problem. We ordered appetizers, and I asked for clarification on what was included in the seafood and meat appetizers. I asked for the seafood one, and we also ordered a PEPATA DI COZZE (MUSSELS WITH PEPPERED POTATOES). We ordered two main courses: grilled octopus and swordfish Livorno-style. We received a MIXED appetizer, which I've attached a photo. The only edible thing was the octopus tart and salad; the rest was a complete mess. Speaking of hair, under the collar was a short, blond hair, definitely not mine or my boyfriend's, as they were both dark brown. We received the PEPATA DI COZZE (MUSSELS WITH PEPPERED POTATOES), which was INEDIBLE, with the mussels still dirty and with pieces of shell attached. Of the 20 or so mussels we tried, we downed two. We asked the waitress to take them back, and shortly afterward the owner came over and rudely told us that the mussels couldn't possibly be dirty. Definitely not the right thing to do for someone who should only want the best for their restaurant. Instead of the peppery pizza, we asked for a pizza: CICCIO ROSSO WITH GRANA AND CHERRY TOMATOES. My boyfriend swapped his main course for a first course, hoping to fill up since we hadn't eaten anything from the appetizers. At 10:30 PM, after almost a 40-minute wait on a Sunday and with little traffic, the rest of our order arrived. The Ciccio BIANCO, but at least it had cherry tomatoes and grana cheese, the tagliolini allo scoglio was super al dente, and my swordfish Livorno-style was completely sweet, luckily there were olives to add a little saltiness. Otherwise, it was a nightmare. We won't be returning. It's a shame because in Monopoli, which is by the sea, you shouldn't have problems like this, especially with dirty fish. We paid €40 and went home hungry!

Great pizza, delicious assassina, fresh fried seafood, good music, great wine selection, and a lovely outdoor setting area near teatro Petruzzelli in the summer. Great staff and the owners make you feel very welcome - highly recommend.

05/06/2026: A perfect start in Bari! On our first evening in Bari, we found this beautiful restaurant and were absolutely delighted! Riva has a really lovely outdoor area where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. The food was also excellent: both the salads and the pizza were fantastic and freshly prepared. It was the perfect culinary start to our vacation. We would love to come back and highly recommend Riva! 🇮🇹🍕🥗

10/06/2026: Excellent Sunday lunch at Quasano. A lovely day spent in the company of Captain Pinuccio, whose friendly nature made the day very enjoyable, as well as serving the freshest fish.

20/04/2026: I think this experience can be summed up in three simple words: "Never go there." I'm writing this because my class and I went to eat and stay at this hotel, and one of our classmates even refused to bring us the bread we requested.

16/02/2026: Dry pizza with meager ingredients, slow service, 1 waiter in the entire room like 1 pizza chef on a Saturday night... Let's move on to the rudeness of the owner who, instead of rounding down the per person amount, rounded up the bill (table of 18 people) and when we pointed this out to him, he started cursing us, treating us like beggars, saying that we just had to thank him for making us eat absurd food... We are not from Altamura and fortunately we have been to other renowned pizzerias in the area and they have always treated us with kid gloves, it's the first time something like this has happened to us, the owner should change jobs in my opinion, he only continues for the convenience of the place but for the rest the management is appalling.

13/01/2026: Excellent service, the bartender was very kind and knowledgeable. Nice atmosphere, good music, great drinks, great prices! We'll be back.

03/05/2026: Disappointing place, decent meat, 2 kids' burgers for €16... Fantastic. All-you-can-eat menu, so to speak, just wings and sausage.

02/10/2025: I went there with some friends last week and we had gelato. Aside from the fact that there was no difference between the various flavors, the most annoying thing was that the gelato melted in a flash. Bottom line: we ate it quickly because it melted before our eyes, it tasted like nothing, and we had to find a fountain to rinse our sticky hands. An experience not to be repeated.

07/06/2026: I bought a focaccia by calling and ordering in advance, making sure to get it fresh from the oven. It arrived on time, or at least 10 minutes late. The focaccia was frozen and clearly not made tonight... I also bought a baked panzerotto, which was old and hard. Two stars, to be generous.

23/05/2026: Excellent products. Alongside traditional baked goods, there are also other delicious snacks and lunch options.

02/05/2026: A TERRIBLE experience! The venue: a hodgepodge of styles. The DJ: a total mess. In four hours, he managed to play every style of music at a deafening volume that made it impossible to communicate. We were forced to spend part of the lunch outside. The only good thing about the food: the drinks. Never again.

23/04/2026: 1 star is a gift. Starting with the waiters, especially one, who was completely rude (he took things away without asking if people had finished eating, e.g., the sorbet or the mixed vegetables, which were also served in a glass all at once without any dressing). The appetizers were acceptable in quality and quantity, although they served a kind of potato tart that had no shape. The first courses were flavorless, with pasta that wasn't fresh but rather bought, I don't know, at the first supermarket they found. The second courses were completely cold and undercooked; they managed to make the potatoes terribly, cold and undercooked, and the prawns begged for mercy. They generally rushed us; it's okay that we arrived later than scheduled, but not even that. Everything was poor.
