15/08/2024: Simple place, but which offers excellent quality meat. The skewers and wild chicory are excellent and I highly recommend them! Even the appetizers, such as the meat carpaccio and mixed fried foods, are highly recommended. I will definitely be back in the next few days to try a pizza! Friendliness is at home and this is definitely a plus that I really appreciated.

18/07/2024: Fantastic! Extremely fresh seafood antipasti, especially the mussels were super fresh, plus an excellent freshly smoked salmon at the table (!) with red berries and the finest cream cheese, terrific farmer's bread with salt, pepper and oil, and the cherry on top, the homemade ice cream! Fior di latte great, mango great, but yogurt! World class! Still too expensive at 78 EUR for two starters, two cappuccinos, two small pasta with butter and oarmesan for the children, drinks and three portions of ice cream.

15/07/2024: Little place found by chance, without looking at reviews. A place where lunch has become an experience of conviviality. Excellent ending to a weekend away. Kindness, excellent food, equally excellent wine and fantastic ice cream to say the least.

25/08/2024: Tonight at dinner with friends I delighted my palate with a spaghetti with clams and mussels... decidedly sublime al dente cooking, smells and flavors of the sea... Accompanied with a delicious rosé... Then followed by a mixed fried fish. .. Tender, crunchy and tasty... finally a black truffle drowned in Cape bitters.... and to close it all a coffee offered by the owner.... the air-conditioned place is welcoming as is the owner and the employees.... I'm sure I will return... Compliments to the chef and a thank you and goodbye to the owner...👏🏻😋👍🏼

Sismo were served quickly and with a smile from the beginning to the end of the dinner by the polite and good guys. Will come back to try the desserts which they say are very, very good

19/08/2024: On a super crowded day, due to the celebration for the Frecce Tricolori present for the first time in Trani, I had little hope of eating a decent pizza... Instead, we had the best Margherita pizza I've ever had... Thin, crumbly, tasty dough... Semi-wholemeal flour from the Marino mill, fiordilatte mozzarella not from the industrial crumbled ones but you could tell it came from whole hand-sliced ​​mozzarella, delicious tomato sauce... In short, superlative pizza. And also the management of the room... Despite the sea of ​​people, who were not always polite, the waiters and hostess never lost their calm and smile. ... In short, a place worth returning to ----- Last night, 3 months later, we returned to Pizzeria Galileo and unfortunately, this time, the experience was not positive: 1- we ordered a small appetizer before the pizzas... After just a quarter of an hour, they served everything to us (in record time...) but...... everything together... Appetizers and pizzas .... Now I would like to say to the management of the room: if I order the appetizer it is because I want to eat it BEFORE and not AT THE SAME TIME as the pizzas... Furthermore, bringing everything together, the waiter himself did not know where to put everything on the table 2- we also ordered some pasta omelettes... They served them hot on the outside and "iced" on the inside... We made the observation to the waiter, who appeared impassive... In my opinion, the the least the manager could have done would have been to not charge them... Instead we also paid them... 3- the pizza dough proved to be exceptional... But the toppings were not up to par. Only the Margherita pizza is excellent, but when it comes to the other pizzas, as mentioned, the seasoning leaves something to be desired. I, in particular, had an Ortus pizza: the seasonal vegetables were tasteless, as they were boiled... Not to mention a strange splash of red powder that pervaded the entire pizza: ground of what? Beet? Boo! Even visually, it all made a bit of an impression... 4- finally, a word on the diligence of the waiters: as soon as we finished eating, after a few seconds the waiters showed up to collect the dishes... I also go out to eat to do things with a bit of calm.. It was immediately clear that the waiters' eagerness to clear the table was to urge them to vacate the table as soon as possible and make room for new customers who, fortunately for the place, are never lacking and are outside waiting for their turn. 5- finally, the noise... Too many diners compared to the size of the room... You can't converse while eating... In the end, instead of staying in an excellent pizzeria (which the Galileo pizzeria should be) It feels like being in a "manger".... IN CONCLUSION, if the pizza dough proves to be EXCEPTIONAL, the toppings and above all the management of the service are not equally adequate, not up to the standard of a pizzeria reviewed by Gambero Rosso...

15/07/2024: Ho cenato qui (tappa fissa quando rientro a Bari) con un amico e abbiamo potuto gustare il solito ottimo panino e una bella birra ghiacciata nei tavolini esterni vista mare, cosa chiedere di più ad un prezzo modico? La chicca finale è che ho lasciato lì per oltre due ore (per dimenticanza) una busta con tre magliette e una camicia e quando mi sono ricordato e son passato a chiedere se la avevano vista, me l’hanno data dicendomi che la avevano presa e messa da parte per evitare che qualcuno la portasse via, gentilissimi !

27/08/2024: I was really impressed with the extremely friendly and helpful staff. The strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine, dishes with fresh fish that delight the palate. Along with the appetizer we ate a focaccia with cherry tomatoes, cooked in a wood oven with a thin and crunchy crust. (as I told the pizza chef and the owner, the best I tasted in Mattinata). First and second courses of excellent quality, a sorbet in a jar to be enjoyed with a spoon was the finishing touch of a very tasty dinner. I highly recommend this place to all lovers of good food! Thanks for the limoncello which was kindly offered by the owner.

Inadequate prices, €5 for a small bowl of olives and an equally small bowl of tarallini. €8 for a bruschetta with industrial croutons. The environment remains pleasant. 3 stars of encouragement in the hope that we will return to the past. Prices up, quality down. 15/08/2024: My husband and I stayed for 10 days in this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Buffet meals always plentiful and varied. Ideal place for families and children. Entertainment both on the beach and in the hotel. Excellent location. Nice holiday. The only advice when booking is to ask for parking. Thanks to everyone we really had a great time.

23/07/2024: Hotel non è adeguato alle 4 stelle direi 3 per la posizione del mare. Cucina completamente da rivedere dall organizzazione della fornitura e continuità del piatti e soprattutto l incapacità dei cuochi. Pesce stra cotto carne asciutta, pasta dal sapore unico indipendentemente da come veniva condita scusate non aveva sapore. Mare e spiaggia bellissimi tempi di apertura e chiusura dello stabilimento balneare troppo ristretto. Camerieri e bagnini sempre disponibili e gentili. Servizio bar pessimo sia per la colazione che dopo i pasti. Tempi di attesa per caffè, cappucci ecc. oltre la norma..... Camere in ordine i sempre risistemate entro l ora di pranzo, personale gentile e disponibile.

19/07/2024: Ci sono passato grazie a trip advisors e sinceramente sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dall'accoglienza del titolare e di tutto lo Staff finalmente un bar dove ti accolgono con sorriso e ti consigliano cosa assaggiare sia di caffetteria che di vari dolci fatti direttamente in loro laboratorio. Bellissimo locale e bella misica.Bravi continuate così a presto 👍
