01/06/2025: We were there for the first time yesterday, May 31st, and I have to say that I was very impressed by the place, the staff were very kind, the food was good and above all it is a place where you don't feel hot!! I suffer from the heat, I had a great time, I don't know if there was air conditioning, but there was a light breeze that refreshed me 😁 Going back to the food I have to say that even if we only ate the appetizers, in addition to being good, there were pieces of pizza margherita that were out of this world!! The pizza was soft and tasty, it didn't seem like one of those frozen ones, on the contrary.. We would like to go back to try more of their menu 😍

24/05/2025: Bad ice cream, not good quality. Nutella ice cream is like eating Nutella from a jar.

04/06/2025: Unfortunately the red wine had sediment and all the other customers were given snacks (olive, etc.) maybe they don’t like coloured people. Amazing reply to my comments. Firstly the biting were offered to others without request, I know this as we asked the Italian girls sitting next to us and they confirmed they received them free of charge. When they informed the waiter he came over to ask if we wanted some. The original waiter seemed to have disappeared then. Please note that we don't have a colour problem as you have indicated. We notice discrimination from the likes of you and call it out when it happens.

20/05/2025: Love this place, been a few times. Younger and hipper crowd from what I’ve seen in Martina Franca. Great music and the people that work there are very friendly. They speak English and they have been very accommodating to my not-so- great Italian. 5/5 stars

We chose this restaurant because of the reviews that mentioned that it was frequented by locals and we wanted an authentic experience. The restaurant has an English menu and the waiter who served us knew English and was very kind. I would come back anytime.

02/05/2025: Personale molto gentile posto molto tranquillo con una passeggiata dal centro in 10 min si arriva cibo ottimo. Abbiamo preso la pasta alle vongole, l'agnello e frittura di pesce. Consigliatissimo!!

05/06/2025: Got off at the station in Bari and looking for a delicious coffee and a good breakfast? Go here to Casa del Pene. It's five steps from the station. You can eat a cake and a traditional sandwich or warm vegetables. Nice service but for those who smile. I recommend It's really worth it.

14/06/2025: Truly a great discovery. Tonia is a welcoming hostess who immediately makes you feel at ease. We tried the mixed appetizer (really rich with a mix of vegetables, fried foods, cheese, muersi), orecchiette with turnips, mushrooms and burrata, mixed salad... All abundant and tasty. A typical location with attention to detail, with a large and bright garden outside. We will definitely be back and I recommend it! :)

Le pizze sono una più buona dell'altra, e si sente la ricerca e la passione con cui Luigi ci si dedica. Grazie per la serata e per la gustosa cena. È stato davvero un piacere conoscerti e parlare un pò con te.

13/06/2025: My wife and I ate excellent meat, the staff is friendly, the owner is an excellent griller and very helpful. Phenomenal Apulian Bombette, about half a kilo of lamb chops and to finish a sliced ​​rocket and parmesan all accompanied with excellent baked potatoes and onion with oil homemade by them. To finish local bitter and sweet offered by the house. We will return, but obviously I recommend Carnezzeria to everyone for the goodness of the meat and tenderness. Excellent quality/price ratio.

02/07/2025: Very friendly and attentive staff. The food is very good and plentiful. The portions are larger than you'd expect. The ambiance is very nice with an interesting theme. Highly recommended and I'd be happy to return anytime.
