16/03/2024: Despite the terrible experience dating back to the end of summer 2023, I had to amend my negative review with pleasure. The restaurant, under the same management, has undergone a major renovation. It has definitely raised the bar overall. Beautiful decor, excellent quality of service, trained and attentive dining room staff, excellent quality of food and a decent choice of wines. What particularly struck me was the warm welcome despite a small dog in tow and the cleanliness of the place. The choice of menu was highly recommended by the owner. From the appetizers to the sorbet everything was to our liking with the only negative note regarding the price which, yes, is justified, but perhaps should be adjusted slightly lower for the context in which it is immersed. San Girolamo is certainly not Paris but it defends itself well…😉 2 starters + 2 first courses, a bottle of wine and 2 sorbets, total €85.
