Oh my, that's delicious! Authentic taste and wonderfully fresh. A beautiful old cellar cantina to eat in. A bit hidden, but that's probably for the best :-)

Excellent food, the waiter knows how to get customers and describes the dishes in a way that makes you want to order them. The linguine I had was DELICIOUS. I absolutely recommend it!

Last night I went to the Tettuccio restaurant in Barletta, which I had previously booked. Upon arrival, I was seated outside, but when I asked to be moved to the dining room, I was told there was a mattress presentation… they could have let me know when I booked. I should point out that because of the heat, there were insects, and people passing by were staring at you while you ate (when I go for lunch/dinner, I want to feel comfortable, and yesterday I wasn't). Anyway, let's talk about the food… good and high-quality, but some dishes were a bit too special… like the tuna tataki. I found it too sweet and cold. My advice is to have them explain the dish you're ordering better, so you don't end up disappointed like I did. As for the spaghetti al tettuccio, it was in line with my tastes… good. As for the price, it's in line with all restaurants… it's not a pizzeria, so you'll always pay a little more.

A very welcoming place with a fantastic chef who offered excellent advice on preparing his refined and delicious dishes and desserts. We greatly appreciated his kindness and the effort he made to speak our language. I highly recommend this place where you can enjoy excellent food.

What a wonderful meal, the inside of the restaurant is extremely high end looking. When we stopped by about 7:45 (they opened at 7:30) the staff directed us to some outside setting on the side street, off the busy main walkway. Took a couple minutes to get all the tables setup but nothing but completely professional at every level. We started to two appetizers, a bottle of local red wine and a main per person. Everything was seafood and agian top notch, fresh, no off-putting smells, tasted like the sea. If you walk past it looking for something better you missed a great meal. Bellissima......

06/06/2026: LOGISTICS: We booked for 10:30 PM. We sat down at 11:20 PM, it's now 12:23 AM and nothing has arrived yet: that says it all. Everything else is handmade: from the taralli (which I highly doubt since I've tried identical ones from supermarket bags and the bakery down the street) to the focaccia (not bad), to the grandmother's hand-embroidered tablecloths, to the very lager beer. Our request for two extra seats wasn't well received, and the service was rude. FOOD: The pizzas are excellent, with a fairly wide and original selection (even though the Margherita is THE pizza par excellence). The dough is homemade and easy to digest. BILL: Honest and quite fair. Finally, a place that charges a €2.50 cover charge but tries to make up for it in a friendly way. All things considered, the food was excellent, while organizationally and logisticalally, we finished dinner after 1:00 a.m. (with one guest still finishing their pizza). On a positive note, we were offered an excellent artisanal limoncello to round off the evening in the best possible way.
02/06/2026: I love this place! I went there with a friend and we had an amazing meal! The appetizers are excellent and varied (I recommend the cod croquettes), and they offer a variety of first courses and pizzas, from classic to more unique. The service is welcoming and warm. If you want to try carefully prepared and varied cuisine, this is the perfect place! Highly recommended.

24/05/2026: Excellent food! I was able to choose which of the fresh seafood I wanted in my pasta and which sauce I preferred. Everything was incredibly fresh. The waiters were very attentive, and the host created a welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel comfortable with jokes and complimentary small samples, such as seafood salad and scallops. 10/10
24/05/2026: The best spaghetti with clams I've ever eaten!! The staff is friendly and the owner is super nice! Everything is delicious, especially the fish. Super fresh! If you're in the area, Monastero is a must! Definitely worth a try!
