Reservations are essential because it's very popular, and you need to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Service is fast. They also have outdoor seating during the summer. Overall, everything is good. I highly recommend trying it.

27/10/2025: This place is the definition of hospitality. We were so pampered by the staff, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, with spot-on advice on where to choose. The food was high-quality and supremely delicious. My 2-year-old daughter devoured the meatballs with raw vegetable gazpacho and the squid ink pasta. We'll be back very soon ❤️

16/11/2025: A perfect birthday 🥳 I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, and from start to finish, I can only express my complete satisfaction with the food, the service, and the staff's professionalism. To our great surprise, our table was set and decorated impeccably for the party. As soon as we were seated, small welcome aperitifs awaited us, followed by a bottle of prosecco—another very welcome surprise. -The Culinary Offering and Flexible Menu Service: You can choose from various pre-arranged menus, suitable for all budgets and palates. Federica, the owner, offers excellent recommendations, demonstrating great expertise and helpfulness. -Staff and Courtesy The staff pays attention to every detail, standing out for their great courtesy and politeness. We opted for a mix of fried foods as an appetizer and pizzas as a main course. The fried foods were truly unique, elegantly served with various accompanying sauces. The pizzas were out of this world: delicious and excellent in every way, especially for the richness of the toppings and the undisputed quality of the ingredients. The menu included a choice of drinks, a much-appreciated bonus. -The Final Touch To conclude the evening, the wait staff and Federica set up a fantastic photo corner with a cake and decorations. 09/11/2025: We were two people, we arrived at 8.30pm, we ate at 10.00pm. The most absurd thing is that in these almost two hours of waiting we did not see any food come out of the kitchen to be served to the other tables. The food was good but because of the wait I strongly do not recommend it!!!

06/09/2025: Terrible service, overwhelmed by the number of customers. One waitress takes your order, another serves half of it. Thirty minutes later, the second panini still hasn't arrived. The restaurant is noisy and completely unprofessional. Avoid it!

11/03/2026: I'd say their strength lies in their location and the lack of major competitors nearby, which is why we've been there more than a few times, especially for breakfast, despite the usual "issues," but today we promised ourselves it would be our last. The service is slow and inattentive, but it costs 15% of the total, and even the croissants aren't particularly delicious. In short, not an excellent quality/price ratio.

01/03/2026: Two coffees and two croissants cost €9. The croissants were supposed to be filled, but instead there was only a hint of cream filling, and the coffee was burnt. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for breakfast.

07/03/2026: A very quiet hotel with excellent service. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Many typical Puglian sights are located nearby, such as the Sassi di Matera and the world-famous Alberobello. The food here is also excellent. I was given a tour of the kitchen, and it was exceptionally clean, which is quite rare in the restaurant industry. The staff is courteous and very friendly. So, if you value a peaceful stay with good food, this is the perfect place. I would gladly stay at Hotel Murgia again. Thank you for the wonderful time :-). See you soon!

25/02/2026: Terrible experience, a 13 euro aperitif of low quality, prepared who knows how and reheated hastily, I left everything, the price is exaggerated.

23/02/2026: A bad experience. My friend and I stopped here for something sweet. The table was dirty, covered in crumbs, and the ashtray was full of cigarettes. I asked for a bottle of water to drink at the table, but I couldn't because I didn't have a glass (I'm not used to drinking from a bottle). More attention needs to be paid to serving customers.
