18/08/2025: I had dinner here with my family. The portion of fried food was very small, and honestly, it certainly wasn't a memorable dish. The pizza was average, neither good nor bad. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The prices were honestly high for the products offered.

03/12/2025: Avoid, there's nothing redeeming about it, completely unsatisfactory... Starting with the ridiculously high prices for this type of place (pizzas €12+, wines €24+, first courses €12+ for garlic, oil, and chili pepper!). The pizzas are truly "pizza-like," misshapen, overly salty, ugly and pale in appearance, and most importantly, burned from underneath, so there's no point in even commenting on the flavor. Beef steak was on the menu, but then a half-centimeter thick grilled slice arrives, already overcooked, already super salty, and without any sides. The service is very spartan, incapable of serving English tourists, with little attention to the tables, and at the end of the meal, they take your money without a greeting or a thank you. The only redeeming features are the warm and welcoming dining room and the selection of wines and beers, but otherwise, in my opinion, everything is terrible.

27/10/2025: I had an excellent pizza at this pizzeria; the dough was very light and easy to digest. The menu is quite varied: cold cuts and cheese platters, grilled vegetables as appetizers, fried foods, salads, baguettes, meat main courses, and ice cream. In addition to the classic pizzas, the menu offers a wide variety of other very unique and original flavors. Highly recommended!

24/07/2025: Sono tornato alla Masseria Scagnito per la seconda volta in un mese e, ancora una volta, si è confermata un posto magico. Un angolo di autentica bellezza dove ogni dettaglio è curato con passione. Il menù si distingue per la qualità delle materie prime e la bontà dei piatti, una cucina che sa esaltare i sapori veri della tradizione senza mai essere banale. Un plauso speciale va ai ragazzi in sala: gentili, attenti e competenti, riescono a farti sentire sempre accolto con professionalità e calore. E poi c’è Chiara, la vera anima della Masseria, il suo sorriso coinvolgente e la sua innata capacità di far sentire ogni ospite a casa rendono l’esperienza ancora più speciale. Un luogo in cui tornare e ritornare, ogni volta con la certezza di vivere momenti autentici e indimenticabili.

24/07/2025: Sono stata con la mia famiglia e degli amici a pranzo in questa Masseria il giorno di Capodanno. Generalmente è un giorno complicato, un po’ per tutti, soprattutto a livello di servizio. Ma lo staff di Masseria Scagnito ha invece confermato una grande professionalità e cortesia. Servizio rapido, efficiente e cortese, a corollario di una cucina davvero ben fatta. 16/09/2025: Zero help from airport staff. They don't care about anyone. If you want to get out, you wait 30 minutes for someone to respond. After 30 minutes, they refer you to another person and laugh. I spoke Italian, English, and Polish. I have the impression they don't understand any of these languages. I don't know, maybe they're from Senegal, because there are quite a few of them here in Bari. It's truly awful. Be prepared that if your flight is delayed, you'll still have to wait an hour to get out. I don't recommend this airport. 26/08/2025: The place is beautiful! The location is very unique, charming, and romantic! The food is good quality, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the price is perfectly average. I was impressed by the deliciousness of the pizzas, very light and didn't cause me any problems. I don't eat pizza because the way they make it makes me sick, but this pizza is absolutely delicious! Special! You can't complain! In fact, it's one of the best places to eat in Laterza (TA). We went there two nights in a row, not by chance! I was very satisfied, and the dinner made me go to sleep peacefully and delighted! And I tried my wife's gnocchi with mushrooms. Oh my, how delicious!

21/07/2025: The pizza is delicious, light and topped with very fresh local ingredients. The location is romantic... Excellent view of historic Laterza. Friendly and professional staff.

04/11/2025: This is a fine B&B with a pool, but nothing more than that. Absolutely not a "resort" (that's completely overselling it) and certainly not a hotel. After 1 p.m., there's no one around, no life, and this until 10-11 p.m., when guests trickle back in from their day trips. No manned reception, no cozy bar, no restaurant. Only rooms with breakfast, albeit including excellent breakfast service from the two ladies! We had to sleep in our same sheets for seven days, and no sheets were changed. All in all, "correct," but not the promised highlight as advertised. The location is very quiet: when we arrived at 8:15 p.m., it was completely dark, and we even drove right past it, looking for the entrance (the discreet, closed black gate). Centrally located for excursions in Puglia.

26/10/2025: A magnificent stay in a magical place with a splendid view and attentive staff; we felt right at home. We would like to thank Michel, who was extremely kind and professional throughout our stay. He even prepared breakfast for us very early because we had a plane. I recommend this hotel.

09/10/2025: The rooms were new and perfectly tidy, and the food was a 10/10. But what was truly extraordinary was the hospitality. The owner helped me fix a car breakdown, got me a discount at the mechanic's (another memorable experience), and, to top it all, he offered me coffee after taking me to the repair shop. If you want to experience the humanity, hospitality, courtesy, and vitality of the Apulian people, this is a must-visit.

09/07/2025: I couldn't wait for it to reopen. The wait time for the right pizzas was long, the staff were friendly, and I found them to be very helpful. The prices seemed fair.

01/06/2025: We had a truly special pizza: soft and light dough, perfectly cooked, and topped with high-quality ingredients like fior di latte mozzarella. Despite being a nearly full Saturday night, the service was more than prompt. The final delight was dessert: a handcrafted cake, a truly special rum torroncino. The price was perfectly in line with the quality of the food and service.
