15/01/2026: The food is excellent in an idyllic atmosphere. The location is fantastic, a classy setting, spacious rooms with stunning paintings and furnishings, right in the center of Lecce, just a few dozen meters from the Chiesa dei Monaci. The menu is varied and of good quality. The fish and seasonal vegetables are fresh. The seafood linguine is excellent. The service is fast and attentive. Excellent value for money.

19/01/2026: Incredible I had lunch yesterday at noon, you can not describe the goodness of the food all excellent cooked at the moment, home cooking the lady who prepares in the morning a lunch for 40 people 7 starters plus 2 seafood, 3 first courses 2 second courses fruit dessert everything 5 stars thank you thank you thank you!!!

03/01/2026: Everything was good and in quantity nothing exceptional, the inside room was nicer outside.

12/02/2026: While visiting the cave, we stopped at the only nearby bar. The place is very beautiful and tastefully decorated, but unfortunately, we were served by rude and uninterested staff, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. We also enjoyed some over-the-counter products that were days old and, unfortunately, very expensive given the quality. It's a shame because the place has so many resources, but they're not being exploited: a place with so much potential deserves more attentive and professional management, capable of enhancing it rather than penalizing it.

20/12/2025: Next to the Basilica of Sant'Angelo, a delightful café in a pleasant setting, with a well-decorated lounge on the second floor, a varied menu, snacks, savory pastries, desserts and drinks, served with good service. Prices are full price.

18/03/2026: Our first visit and we'll definitely return. Great pizzas and great service

10/02/2026: Their artisanal fried food is very good, and I also really liked the pizza; it's not the classic Neapolitan version, but a crispier version. The prices are fair, and Martino even sat down with us at the end of the evening for a chat. 🙂

25/05/2025: The only positive note was the fairly decent pizza. We sat down as soon as we arrived but waited a good two hours for a pizza, leaving us at the last table. Service was very slow and disorganized. It was also a terrible idea to open the summer location in May when it's still cold in the evenings. Prices were a bit high, but the food quality was quite good. I wouldn't return for a number of reasons.

28/01/2026: Yesterday I bought some apple sweets and threw them in the garbage because they were old and the apple was sour. Since it was a bit expensive, I expected a sublime dessert but it was a disappointment.

22/12/2025: Quality bakery and very friendly staff! In my humble opinion, it's definitely among the best focaccias in Bari. Try it and believe it! ☺️

31/12/2025: Very beautiful property with a superb sea view, spectacular breakfast with homemade cakes and a wide variety of delicacies. Exquisite staff and excellent value. We definitely recommend it!

30/10/2025: A very nice hotel with a magnificent sea view thanks to the large windows, especially in the restaurant and bar. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Some staff members speak French very well. A calm and peaceful place. We highly recommend it. Breakfast offers a wide selection of sweet and savory options. There's something for everyone! The only slight drawback is the lack of a coffee maker in the room.

10/08/2025: If you want to eat excellent fish or freshly cooked first courses, Pronto Mare is the best choice with Piero Gelao who serves you with a smile and his expertise and his mother ready to satisfy every request!!!!!

26/02/2026: We ordered two pizzas and both were absolutely divine, prepared with high-quality local products and definitely among the best we have eaten in Italy. The service was very friendly, and the waitress did her absolute best to speak with us in English, which was a lovely touch. The coffee smelled like real Italy, and the prices were a huge positive surprise – it was one of the most affordable restaurants where we’ve had such great food, with a coperto of 2 euros per person. The only minor downside was the lack of hot tea on the menu, but other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

26/07/2025: For clarity, I'm only reviewing the atmosphere and service, as I only went for a drink. The Spritzes were good, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is really nice for a bar, but perhaps not the best for a group of friends who also want to dine (but that's just my opinion). Recommended for a post-evening outing with friends.

31/08/2025: I waited to write this review in the hope that things would be different this year; after all, anyone can have a bad day. At this point, I'd say the problem isn't the bad day itself, but the dear owner should reconsider her ways; otherwise, she'd better change jobs. She's truly rude. The food is good: accurate dishes, quality ingredients, even if it lacks any particular flair. It's a shame that everything is ruined by contact with the owner. When you have to book or otherwise interact with her, the result is always the same: she makes you feel almost in the way, as if eating there were a favor she's granting you. A restaurant should welcome its customers, not make them feel uncomfortable before they even sit down. A real shame, because the food deserves to be remembered for its dishes... but instead, what remains most memorable is the unpleasantness of the people running it. Be careful whoever takes your orders at the table. If you order pizza (they prefer you order from the kitchen and take the appetizers yourself), they'll tell you the wait is too long. This isn't true at all. The pizzas will arrive on time.

24/08/2025: We rented two sun loungers and an umbrella. They were very kind, helpful, and very quick. We took advantage of the opportunity to have lunch. The dishes were very good, but the only flaw is that there's no menu with prices displayed because it changes daily, so the price was somewhat unexpectedly high. Overall, recommended!

15/08/2025: Had lunch. Excellent dishes in a simple location with a sea view. The only flaw, which I'd already read in other reviews, is that you order without knowing the cost of the dishes. The service charge isn't shown on the receipt, just the total.
