01/11/2025: We went to this place last night...what can I say? Speechless! If there were 100 stars, I'd give them all...everything was excellent, from the food (huge appetizers), to the lovely owners, and very reasonable prices. My advice? Go soon!!

25/08/2025: My family and I decided to have dinner one evening. Ridiculous portions...a paltry grilled meat and ridiculous side dishes (two tiny slices of zucchini and two of eggplant). Very mediocre for a total of €64 for 4 people. Avoid, go elsewhere.

07/05/2026: The location is excellent, with a pool and the sea right nearby. The room is very clean but very rustic and, above all, very poorly soundproofed. There's noise from chairs being dragged, and neighbors talking until all hours, so I slept very poorly 😡. We come on vacation to relax. The breakfast is great; there's a wide variety of options, with a sea view. The resort is very clean overall. In 2026, it's unbelievable that there's no Wi-Fi everywhere!! The room and the lack of Wi-Fi are the major drawbacks.

05/05/2026: Magnificent location. Excellent price in low season. Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, furnished not in the latest fashion, but in perfect condition. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. I took one star off because the Wi-Fi only works in the hotel lobby, which is a real shame; everything else is perfect.

01/05/2026: This restaurant is highly recommended. The food is excellent. We had the mixed appetizer with bruschetta, seafood salad, scampi, etc., and then the pasta with seafood. The portion was kindly brought on two plates without us even asking. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍👍👍😊

05/05/2026: We had dinner on the 18th. We had a reservation for 5 at 9:30 PM, then two friends joined us, so we had to wait about half an hour for a table since the place was full. It was our fault. Afterwards, we sat down at a table where a very kind lady took our order: six first courses and a pizza. For an appetizer, we asked for a pizza kebab to share; the place also offered us fried appetizers to apologize for the wait. The pizza arrived shortly after, and we all ate it (very good). After that, the evening took an unexpected, almost comical turn. A waiter (a young man) came over and started clearing the table, forks and all, which seemed strange to us, but it's his job. We figured, maybe that's how it works around here. But as soon as he'd finished clearing everything, he asked us if we wanted the dessert menu. We looked at each other, a little shocked, and one of us informed him that we hadn't eaten anything yet except the appetizer, to which he replied with a simple "ah," which I thought was annoyed. Then he came back after 5 minutes and confirmed his annoyance when, in order to re-set the table, he THROWS the cutlery! He actually walked behind us and, instead of putting the cutlery back where it belonged, dropped it on the table, right in front of each of us. At that moment, we looked at each other with wide eyes because it was truly an unusual situation, and some of us even laughed a little; it really seemed like a joke. But my dad laughed it off and said that maybe the staff was tired, given the time and the busy evening. But the evening didn't end there; we were abandoned by the staff for a full 40 minutes. The kitchen was late (I repeat, the place was full, but at this point it was starting to empty), but I still think diners should be notified when the delay exceeds half an hour. After 40 minutes, I got up and asked a waitress in the dining room what was going on, and she very kindly replied that she would go ask the kitchen and let me know. From there, word of mouth spread, the waiters chatted among themselves, and there was a constant coming and going from the kitchen. Yet another waiter came to our table and told us our dishes were coming out. After 10 minutes, all the starters arrived, but we had to wait another 5 minutes for the pizza. All this waiting for a plate of undercooked and very salty pasta with clams, which I completely left out! Needless to say, I didn't ask for a change because it was already past 11:00 PM and I would have surely had to wait forever for another dish. But when we got to dessert, we asked the waiter (the same one who had slammed the silverware on the table) what desserts they made, and he told us tiramisu and cheesecake. So we ordered two cheesecakes, two tiramisu, and two panna cottas. The service? Only the tiramisu was spot on. The same waiter as before asked us who the panna cotta and cheesecake were for, and we went for a show of hands. He swapped them. A mistake that wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the fact that he was rude all evening, and by the end of the meal, honestly, we were all a little fed up. When we tasted it, the only decent one was the panna cotta. The tiramisu was ladyfingers with whipped cream and cocoa on top, while the cheesecake was biscuits with whipped cream and caramel drizzled on top. In conclusion: The pizza is good, but the pasta, at least for me, was inedible (I should point out that it wasn't added to the bill after my complaint, and I appreciate that). The staff? Definitely needs revising. The service? Hilarious. I think the "show cooking" slogan is aimed precisely at this aspect of the restaurant, sketches worthy of a cabaret. Luckily, we were all quiet people who enjoyed the evening (and thank you for having a good laugh), otherwise we would have left halfway through dinner. If you're up for a laugh, go, but take the whole evening off because the wait times are a bit long. Don't bother the waiters, and if you're happy with it, maybe even eat well.

11/06/2026: Visited during the summer holidays. Excellent dinner. You arrive and they give you a placemat with the menu and you sit down. Then you order and pay, and when it's ready, the remote control vibrates and you leave it there for them to pick up. The salmon tartar is very good, as are the mixed fruit and fish balls. They also have a kids' menu. The prices are fair and the portions are satisfying. There's a €1 cover charge. Very good! 😀

07/06/2026: Yesterday was the first time, early in the evening (around 8:30 PM). We ordered two "Mirante" sandwiches with roasted octopus, stracciatella, and olive pâté, and I don't remember if there was anything else. In a place called "la barchetta" (little boat), you expect to taste the flavors of the sea, but nothing! From an immense amount of stracciatella that was overflowing, I pulled out three thin slices of cold roasted tentacles. They were good, tender, but cold, and honestly, paying €13 for stracciatella seems a bit unfair. Since there were two identical sandwiches, I don't think it was a sudden oversight. What a shame. The wait was short, and the service was very friendly.

09/06/2026: The beautiful setting drew us in whilst we were walking along the lungomare, so we stopped for a bite to eat. My parents don't speak Italian so I was translating the menu board for them when the waiter approached us and offered to talk us through the options. Rather than bringing the board over as he did for others, he offered us an off menu sample selection followed by pasta dishes. The sample selection consisted of 3 bits of bland Barese Focaccia, 4 Pieces of Bruschetta (tasty), 3 Fried Octopus Balls and a bowl of mussels. To drink, we had two bottles of water. When we went to pay at the end, the bill came to €120, of which €60 was the off menu starter selection. When challenged, they said the cost of the ingredients was high, but aside from the mussels everything else was a <€8 dish in any other restaurant I've been in. Ultimately, we accept responsibility for not being more vigilant and checking what the cost would be at the point of ordering, but as the prices on the listed menu were relatively cheap we weren't expecting to be screwed in this manner. If you're a tourist, either avoid or stay on the listed menu.

21/10/2025: The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and thankfully so!!! The hotel is so sad... Everything is cold and dark. Is it because it's autumn? The rooms have minimal amenities for a 4-star hotel. Not even a kettle to make tea, which you'll have to ask for at the bar and pay for. Yes, it really is a bar, this empty and dark place; you just have to ask at reception, who will then come and serve you. Let's talk a little about the soundproofing; no need to strain your ears, you'll be able to participate in the conversations in the adjoining rooms as if you were there. You'd think the walls were made of cardboard... Breakfast is a disaster, there's nothing... ask for bread, and you'll have to wait 10 minutes, the same goes for the croissants, which are displayed in groups of three, not one more for the entire room. There are lots of cakes, stale, since they're brought out every day until they run out. On the positive side, the restaurant is very good and excellent value for money. The bedding is also very good and everything is clean. Very few positive elements for this hotel which is hardly worth more than 2 stars. Thank you to all the staff for their welcome, smiles and kindness. They all deserve credit for working in such a sad place. Luckily there are a few cats outside who brighten up this place...

15/10/2025: Friendly and helpful staff. Just steps from the caves but far from the center. We were able to enjoy the spa area exclusively; it was small but perfect for relaxing. The rooms could use a makeover. Overall, we had a great weekend.

17/05/2026: We were there on May 17, 2026 for a confirmation. To say that the food is good is an understatement. Authentic cuisine, but above all delicious and very good, tasty. The owner is humble and serves at the tables to keep the tables full and to pamper the customers. Very kind, thank you.

30/12/2025: Very disappointing experience Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was anything but pleasant. There was a serious lack of hot water: taking a shower was practically impossible.

26/08/2025: Initially, they told us we needed to reserve, but then they kindly gave us a table on the outdoor terrace. We had a lovely evening at dinner, and I can definitely say the dishes were excellent. My wife and I had spaghetti with squid ink and shrimp tartare with orange slices...a delicacy...then a tuna steak with arugula and cherry tomatoes, a real treat, all accompanied by an excellent white wine and a dessert to finish. The price is a little higher than average, but considering it's a tourist destination, that's understandable...a couple will spend between €50-60. The location is very central in the historic center, and the staff is very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it 😉 🤙🏼

The pasticciotto is simply exceptional, just like in the old days. The warm welcome and family atmosphere make it a place you'll always want to return to.
