30/09/2025: A hotel like the ones I remembered from my childhood. Truly Italian. Very hospitable, clean, a large corner room, and a very quiet location. For dinner, there was a menu with a choice for everyone. It was served in large bowls – as much as you wanted. Truly delicious. One night while passing through. But we would gladly come back.

12/09/2025: Fabulous fish restaurant with a covered terrace right by the sea. Staff were lovely and helpful. There was a good selection of seafood and fish options on the menu. I had salt baked sea bream which was amazing (owner brought the whole fish out to show me and to ask about cooking and presentation preferences) and my husband had fried calamari and prawns, all wonderfully fresh. Good wine choice too and delicious sides and bread. Spotless facilities. All in all a wonderful lunch experience before heading to the next door beach for a siesta. Highly recommend.

15/10/2025: Authentic little Italian restaurant in Carmota. We ate there twice. The selection of dishes is good and manageable. The service is fast and uncomplicated. The food is served quickly, even when the restaurant is busy. The food is delicious and traditional. Excellent value for money.

10/10/2025: Let's start with the must-try dishes, like spaghetti with clams, the Cilento antipasto, the fried calamari... And finish with the Annurca apple liqueur (amazing!) What else is there to say? Fair prices Ahh, the pizza is delicious too!

05/10/2025: Terrible experience. When we booked, we weren't informed that lunch would be served to everyone at the same time. We arrived at 12:50, and out of kindness, we were served a paltry appetizer at 2:00. At 2:45, we were still waiting for the other diners. We got up. I asked for the bill: €40 for a paltry, subpar appetizer. I made a terrible impression on my guest.

30/08/2025: Disappointing service and rather long wait times, especially for a grilled chicken breast. The panzerotti weren't very good, and some were even cold. Not to mention the coffee.

12/01/2026: The room was fine; we had booked a room with a balcony and sea view, so the view was wonderful! The service in the hotel and restaurant was very friendly and attentive. However, the cuisine (half-board), for which Puglia is usually famous, didn't really impress us.

07/01/2026: I was there with my family on Epiphany Day, and I can say it was a wonderful day in every way. The staff was incredibly kind, starting with the owner, who would even serve extra dishes on his own initiative, chatting with the guests and exchanging jokes. From the appetizers to the first course and the second course, everything was succulent, finishing with fruit, dessert, coffee, and liqueur. I'll be back next time.

26/10/2025: We were in the area for work on Sunday and they welcomed us with class and kindness and we ate on trust because we hadn't ordered anything, one dish better than the other but above all a greeting to the waitress who remained in my heart 💓

17/12/2025: I was there with my wife yesterday, the atmosphere was intimate and very nice. I ate some delicious sheep in the valley, not to mention the arrosticini. As usual, we had an Abruzzese pizza with truffle cream, what can I say, fantastic. Highly recommended.

16/12/2025: We were attracted by the advertisement for typical Abruzzo cuisine, but unfortunately the menu didn't live up to its promises, and as often happens when you try to do everything... the result is that nothing is done well. The "Abruzzo" platter was supposed to include cheeses, cured meats, honey, and bruschetta... but it certainly wasn't typical. In reality, what arrived were bresaola (which isn't Abruzzo), coppa veneta, capocollo di Martina Franca, and ventricina, as well as three flavorless Apulian caciottas with walnuts and pistachios (when Abruzzo is full of aged cheeses and pecorinos... what a shame) and three slices of cold bread from the refrigerator soaked in oil with cold cheese melted on top. Overall poor quality!! Unfortunately, the cured meats clearly tasted and smelled like pre-cut deli meats, an odor that lingered throughout the restaurant. Alas, even the meat displayed in the window (above the pizza counter) didn't invite tasting, with its brown color and questionable labels, originating anything but Abruzzo. Overall, the place is kept to a minimum, but the management is rather bizarre, not to mention embarrassing: at least the open shirt in mid-December is decidedly unsuitable and unprofessional. The only positive note was the young waitress, kind and composed. Otherwise, we strongly advise against it!
