02/08/2024: Excellent pub, discovered by chance, not being a local. We had dinner outside, welcomed by the very kind and friendly owner, who gave us information about the restaurant and advice on the menu. Martina's club sandwich was really good and they were also very satisfied with the bag of chips which other places usually provide at the same price but in minimal quantities... Moderate prices and a selected and original menu. We will definitely be back!

05/01/2024: It's been a while since I paid 15 euros for a pizza, but to be honest, it was made with hemp dough, lactose-free mozzarella, courgettes, speck and parmesan and really quite seasoned :) so in the end, I was satisfied with the Pizza. Then there aren't many pizzerias in the area that have this wide choice of special doughs. Happy to have discovered it!

20/08/2024: A pinch of extra salt in the pizzas and more euros in the bill which amounts to around 20 euros for pizza plus beer. Too. Save all the really friendly staff and the place but we are on the outskirts of Gallipoli without a sea view, too bad. French fries at 6 euros per plate are to be avoided, they are not starred except for the price.

20/02/2024: Spinti dalle ottime recensioni, il nostro viaggio, alla scoperta delle tradizioni culinarie salentine, ci porta in questa osteria!!!. Frittini misti eccezionali,pumbutori scattarisciati sublime, secondi da sballo. Inoltre il menu, prevedeva altri piatti, molto particolari mai visti in altri luoghi. Tutto innaffiato da un rosso fruttato e leggero. Promosso a pieni voti!!!

05/01/2024: In questo incantevole angolo del Salento ogni qualvolta passiamo a Castiglione torniamo nella trattoria Vardacieli dove veniamo accolti dai proprietari in una atmosfera familiare e cordiale. I piatti della tradizione sono cucinati con sapienza e amore. Ottime le pitture all’acqua,da provare, così come il fritto di totani freschissimi e strepitoso il dolce alla ricotta. La qualità è sempre costante caratteristica ultimamente poco diffusa nel Salento.

24/08/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante situato in un piccolo vicolo all'ingresso del centro storico di Polignano. Il locale dispone di tavolini all'aperto. Cibo buono sia i primi che i secondi, Personale gentile. Prezzi medio alti. Nel complesso si può ritornare....

24/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto questa osteria grazie alle positive recensioni sul web. Effettivamente abbiamo trovato Ottima qualità nel cibo e nel servizio . Da ritornarci sicuramente .

27/08/2024: Very busy place even late at night. We ordered 3 ice creams. The guy who made them was very professional and made us 3 big gelatos. Salted peanut butter was unbelievable! So good that the pistachio flavour was tasty nothing after that, didn’t have a strong flavour compared to the peanut butter and it felt like we made the wrong choice. Very busy place, laud and the music on top didn’t make the best atmosphere..

14/08/2024: Bar with lots of covered seats outside, nice inside too. Fair prices for breakfast (croissant and cappuccino), fast service. Good croissant of excellent size with chocolate distributed impeccably.

22/08/2024: We had lunch at this restaurant and were very satisfied! Delicious Orecchiette! The grilled caciocavallo is delicious! Very kind waiters!

16/08/2024: Going to dinner at the Chalet dei Gourmet means indulging in an excellent food and wine experience. High quality fish products, quality meat and cold cuts, delicious appetizers (we recommend the poached egg with podolico caciocavallo fondue and truffle flakes and the fish tartare). The pizza (Neapolitan-style crust, naturally leavened dough and high-quality ingredients) is among the best I've ever eaten. Worthy of mention are the cellar (among the best-stocked in Puglia and beyond...) and the gin and tonic (Top!). Excellent service and welcome, cleanliness of the toilets, kindness of the staff and of course the owner Giuseppe Sollazzo.

25/08/2024: A paradise for the most refined palates overlooking the sea of ​​beautiful Monopoli. This is the Porto Rosso Bar-Restaurant-Pizzeria, one of the most famous in the area. Very good food, both in the Restaurant and pizzeria, breathtaking location and excellent service. Furthermore, the greatest convenience is that the place also has a beautiful bar under which there is a wonderful free beach, where you can enjoy an aperitif while waiting to be called to sit at the restaurant or pizzeria.

24/08/2024: Quite a tourist place, the guys were kind but the service itself was very poor, no attention to detail. Nice location by the sea...at least the pizza was good. I don't think I'll go back. Average prices...25 euros per person to eat pizza, beer and some fries.

21/08/2024: Sin . I would have given 5 stars for the food and the beautiful venue. But you have stumbled upon something that seems small but which proves right those who talk about lack of professionalism. Making me pay for olives and taralli offered by you.... it doesn't exist anywhere on the planet. The customer must be able to choose in absolute AWARENESS and if a product has not been requested by him, he does not have to pay for it. Also because if we wanted olives and taralli, we would have ordered olives and taralli! Move by crafty people that I am here to denounce so that no one is cheated again from now on. You would therefore do well to specify that these things you offer are paid for, given that we found ourselves with an extra 13 euros on our bill and it is not a nice thing, especially since we, tourists, had already dined in 2 other places that also offered products and didn't charge us even a cent more. This is constructive criticism and since you say you appreciate constructive criticism, take it to heart. And with the 13 euros you can buy yourself a bit of education in responding to a customer who kindly points out to you that this is a SCAM Ah...I forgot: no receipt, obviously.

02/08/2024: I have been going there for more than 25 years, I have always eaten excellent fish and not only that, a family atmosphere, excellent service and plenty of dishes, always paying the right amount, I recommend it to anyone who wants to stuff themselves with good fresh food

29/07/2024: We spent three nights at this extraordinary and sustainable place. If you are looking for some calmness and nature this is a perfect choice. Our highlight was the delicious dinner and above all the happy and friendly dogs. It is nice to see a place where animals live in peace (donkeys, black pigs, cows, goat, cats..). Hugo is a very kind host and he made us feel very welcome and at home. Grazie mille :)

02/07/2024: We spent 3 days in this magical place. Amazing location in the middle of the forest and nature. Large super comfortable rooms, great food. Ugo the owner was so nice, generuse and helpful. Gave us great tips where to go. Lovely young friendly family with 6 cute dogs. Great value for money, dont miss this place. Yair & Nava
