18/04/2026: Bad experience. We arrived at 9:00 PM and ordered two pizzas. While waiting, we ate a portion of fries. After about two hours, we asked for the pizza times. When we received no response, we decided to leave. At the cashier, we were told that our pizza order hadn't been placed, so we decided to pay for the order and leave. Bad experience.

08/04/2026: I had lunch at the Buongustaio restaurant and pizzeria in Ortanova (Foggia). What can I say? I had my doubts, but I had a great time. The atmosphere was nice and bright, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back.

The porchetta, sliced ​​freshly at the table, was fantastic, tasty, and spectacular, as were every course. And what can I say about the bread, baked daily in their wood-fired oven: a delight. 02/05/2026: We went in to make a reservation, they told us there was no room, then they told us to wait because there was a table at the Amari. We said we were outside in the park, and every now and then we went to check on the table, and they still told us to wait. After more than half an hour, we went in and found it free. They told us that the table we had reserved belonged to another group of 8. Moral of the story, they rudely kicked us out with 6 hungry children, when they could have warned us at the beginning that there was no option for dinner there. There is no organization, much less communication between colleagues. A shame because the location is gorgeous, but the staff is rude. A total disappointment because let's remember that attentive staff, among many other things, is the key to a good restaurant. We were truly disappointed, especially for the children.

25/05/2025: The only positive note was the fairly decent pizza. We sat down as soon as we arrived but waited a good two hours for a pizza, leaving us at the last table. Service was very slow and disorganized. It was also a terrible idea to open the summer location in May when it's still cold in the evenings. Prices were a bit high, but the food quality was quite good. I wouldn't return for a number of reasons.

25/08/2025: I accidentally stumbled upon it one Sunday in August at lunchtime, and found myself in a dark place with a young man at the cash register serving focaccia worth its weight in gold and of questionable quality. I would have preferred to wait in line for half an hour at other bakeries than eat a focaccia that was barely manageable.

09/03/2026: A very pleasant bakery in the old town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You can try delicious local bread here, including one made with olive oil and olives. Everything is fresh and very tasty. It's definitely worth a visit when walking around Altamura.
