04/11/2025: This is a fine B&B with a pool, but nothing more than that. Absolutely not a "resort" (that's completely overselling it) and certainly not a hotel. After 1 p.m., there's no one around, no life, and this until 10-11 p.m., when guests trickle back in from their day trips. No manned reception, no cozy bar, no restaurant. Only rooms with breakfast, albeit including excellent breakfast service from the two ladies! We had to sleep in our same sheets for seven days, and no sheets were changed. All in all, "correct," but not the promised highlight as advertised. The location is very quiet: when we arrived at 8:15 p.m., it was completely dark, and we even drove right past it, looking for the entrance (the discreet, closed black gate). Centrally located for excursions in Puglia.

26/10/2025: A magnificent stay in a magical place with a splendid view and attentive staff; we felt right at home. We would like to thank Michel, who was extremely kind and professional throughout our stay. He even prepared breakfast for us very early because we had a plane. I recommend this hotel.

09/09/2025: The beach is accessible to four-legged friends. The low rating was due to lunch: two pasta dishes weighing under 50g each, and two fried dishes with water, two spritzes, for €115. But not even in a Michelin-starred restaurant would I have left feeling as hungry as I did here! Never again!!!

The rooms are modern, meticulously designed, and furnished with impeccable taste: you immediately feel a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. 10/09/2025: An extraordinary culinary experience! During my stay, I dined every evening at this splendid restaurant, always feeling welcomed and pampered, even though I was alone. The fish, always incredibly fresh, shone in every dish, with the raw fish leaving me speechless. A special thanks to Antonio, the owner, for his passion and the unique atmosphere he creates. Kudos also to Stefano, Francesca, Angelo, and Stefhi for their professionalism and warmth. The service was impeccable, precise, and never intrusive. The refined restaurant, with attention to every detail, is perfect for a relaxing evening. Every dinner was a special and memorable experience. 14/08/2025: Alegría Park is a lovely place to spend time with family or friends. Conveniently located near Mancaversa, it offers a relaxed atmosphere with green areas and open spaces to enjoy the outdoors. It’s ideal for a walk, letting the kids play, and taking advantage of the activities available. The park is clean and well-maintained, although some areas could benefit from more shade on hot days. Its proximity to the coast makes it perfect to combine with a beach day in Gallipoli. Overall, it’s a nice option to relax and enjoy the outdoors in a peaceful, family-friendly environment.

14/09/2025: We wanted to enjoy a pizza from this place and asked if it was possible to take it away, since our child was asleep in the camper. Unfortunately, we were told that takeaway pizza was not available. Just a few minutes later, however, we saw some locals picking up pizzas to go. This was disappointing and made us feel treated differently as visitors. Later, we also asked if it was possible to change some money for parking, but were told that they had no cash at all.

30/12/2025: Unfortunately Mangia Ami has changed its policy. The coffee is still good, but everything else isn't as exceptional as before. The panzerotti are half empty, and the last time I went there, the mozzarella was still half frozen. I understand the high cost of living, but people still demand it when they pay. Aside from the mix-up, the staff is kind and attentive to the customer. Unfortunately, however, they shrugged their shoulders when I pointed out this problem with the panzerotti.

14/03/2026: We visited just before the afternoon break (siesta) and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming. The prices are quite reasonable for such quality. A lovely touch was the chef coming out to our table several times to personally ask if we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended for an authentic local vibe!

08/12/2025: Typical Apulian cuisine, authentic flavors, and high-quality products. Excellent service from the owner, Angela, and extremely talented chef, her husband, Stefano. After a lovely stroll through the alleys of Ostuni, Lo Spessite is ideal for a meal that reflects the true essence of Puglia. Highly recommended.
