11/08/2025: I discovered Pizzeria Alfo' by chance, while looking for pizza alla vampa in the Manfredonia area. Over time, I've had the opportunity to try almost all their specialties, and they're all delicious. To say it's the best pizzeria in Manfredonia wouldn't do it justice. The quality of the ingredients, the deliciousness of the pizzas and focaccias, and especially the DELICIOUS pizza with spit-roasted chicken and potatoes has kept me coming back for years. Highly recommended!

06/08/2025: Honestly it was an incredible hotel, slightly lost in the middle of the olive groves to be quiet but at the same time next to Avetrana and 15 minutes from the beach, the location is perfect already. Rest assured dear reader because that is not the only good thing about this hotel 😍. Already the arrival after a long day of driving with super friendly staff, very attentive even, and especially a small arrival drink offered 🫣. The room is large, space, clean, full of local products like soaps for example, and above all it is cool in it, the dream with this heat 🥵. The swimming pool is just magnificent, not too crowded, with deckchairs by the water, small olive trees, we are really comfortable there and that is saying something 😎. The breakfasts are very very good, lots of choice with delicious and local products. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the cleaning ladies who were always very smiling and kind, the bar and restaurant staff and especially Laeticia, she gave us a lot of advice on things to visit which were all great, always attentive, and who gave us a superb wine and olive oil tasting, sharing all her knowledge with us, it was really good 😀. The best hotel in Italy by far I would say, go there without hesitation!!!!!

12/09/2025: Excellent raw seafood, a shame it was the only positive aspect of the dinner. In the two fried cuttlefish dishes we ordered, the cuttlefish had the consistency of a tire! The potatoes, like the aforementioned fried dishes, were made with used oil. As for the service, I note the chipped plates (all of them), the haste in clearing away the glasses we were still drinking from, and the lack of preparation by one of the wait staff, unaware of the contents of the dishes offered. I doubt we'll be back.

03/09/2025: I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the food, excellent fried food, calamarata with cicadas, excellent, parmigiana, excellent, etc. etc. 5 stars deserved.

22/08/2025: Top service, good food. If they updated the place a little, it would be excellent. Highly recommended. We were hungry after a day at the beach, so we each ordered a plate—several veal cutlets, pasta dishes, etc., with lots of fries in the center—for 15 euros each. We were also pleased with the more than generous portions.

27/09/2025: We were guests at this trattoria. The food was excellent and plentiful. The staff was super helpful and attentive. The location was very well-maintained and classy. 25/09/2025: Meat and fish Compared to the crowded, commercial restaurants in San Giovanni Rotondo near the sanctuary, you can eat here in peace and quiet, and well. We're about ten kilometers, maybe less, from the sanctuary. Ample parking. There are outdoor tables. Quick service. I highly recommend it compared to the crowds near the sanctuary.

09/11/2025: Great grappa, the salad with tre pomodori e mozarella was a little bit not seasenod well but overall was OK.

05/11/2025: We had a great meal, a big thumbs up for the vegan charcuterie board – excellent! The paninis were also very good. The location is lovely, in the middle of a charming little square. However, a major drawback was the service, which was very slow even though there were only three couples in the restaurant. Furthermore, one of the paninis they brought us wasn't the right one, and we ended up having to order our coffees at the bar.

09/10/2025: We went to this place last night for the first time. Everything was perfect, from the service to the atmosphere. Not to mention the quality of the food served.

21/09/2025: Decent food. Service needs work: A bit grumpy, sometimes annoyed, they use bad humor toward the customers at the table, and the waits are truly endless. You can wait up to two hours for your entree. At the cash register, the owner harasses those paying with American Express in a not-so-subtle manner, irritably taking his disappointment out on the customer. Very bad; real commerce is something else entirely.

18/11/2025: Beautiful location and excellent service, a Sunday lunch for €45 feels a bit stuck in time. After almost a year, the appetizers are the same, so as a constructive observation, I can say that perhaps you're not tempted to return after the second or third time. Be careful, not because the food is bad, but because change helps stimulate your imagination, thinking, "I wonder what I'll eat." However, always having the same appetizers doesn't create that desire for novelty that drives you to return over and over again.

16/11/2025: Today we had lunch in a truly welcoming location. We were a fairly large group, with children in tow. The attention we received was evident from the moment we booked. The entire staff, especially Mr. Francesco, was very attentive to our needs: allergies, intolerances, and pregnant women. The menu was extensive and truly delicious. If you want to spend a Sunday in a place where you feel at home, this is the ideal place. I highly recommend it!

12/11/2025: I'd like to share my extremely positive experience with Bar Svevo in Lucera, a place of absolute excellence in the artisanal pastry world. For my graduation, I commissioned a pistachio and white chocolate cake, meticulously crafted down to the last detail. From the first contact, I encountered great professionalism, courtesy, and a willingness to listen to my requests, which were executed impeccably. The cake, in addition to being aesthetically stunning, proved to be a true masterpiece of flavor, perfectly balanced. Despite being transported from Lucera to Bologna by car, thanks to a suitable refrigeration system, the cake remained perfectly intact, retaining the freshness, texture, and flavor of a freshly made cake. The guests were thrilled, and the cake was unanimously praised both for its beauty and the quality of the ingredients. The experience was so satisfying that, shortly thereafter, I decided to order a similar cake again, in a smaller size, to celebrate my graduation with my family in Foggia. On that occasion, too, the result was excellent in every way. I also purchased mini pizzas and small pastries, products that stood out for their fragrance, flavor, and care in their preparation. These items also maintained their characteristics perfectly during transport, confirming the high quality of the workmanship. In conclusion, Bar Svevo has proven to be a go-to place for anyone seeking impeccable service, top-quality artisanal products, and attentive and professional customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality, elegance, and reliability. A sincere thank you for helping make my graduation an even sweeter and more unforgettable experience.
