07/09/2025: Great pizza served by the meter. Dessert is also delicious.

15/08/2025: Invited by friends to spend an evening, it wasn't difficult to find parking because the restaurant is located on a wide road on the edge of town. Service was relatively quick, welcoming us with a small plate of pittole. The pizzas (by the meter), light and well-cooked, were tasty. The price is PERHAPS a little (just a little) above average, but that's also due to the fact that, being an outdoor restaurant far from the town center, we found ourselves avoiding the August evening heat, and the children were able to play in the adjacent park.

09/11/2025: We were two people, we arrived at 8.30pm, we ate at 10.00pm. The most absurd thing is that in these almost two hours of waiting we did not see any food come out of the kitchen to be served to the other tables. The food was good but because of the wait I strongly do not recommend it!!!

28/10/2025: Simple but effective dishes; don't worry, you'll get your money's worth. The atmosphere is quite pleasant, with an English pub feel. It's a family restaurant where everyone is welcome.

18/10/2025: I just celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday at the Panoramico restaurant in Castro, and I have to say they were all FANTASTIC!! The waiters were all very attentive, professional, patient, thoughtful, and always ready to accommodate our needs. Emanuele, who also prepared the drinks for the kids, was not only knowledgeable, but also very friendly and personable with everyone. The organization, the food, and the decorations in the room, especially the cake table, were splendid, very elegant, and meticulously crafted. We really appreciated the surprise of the pink confetti and marshmallows on the cake table, which was a sight to behold...like the rest of the room. The delicacy of the printed menu and the thoughtful gift for my daughter amazed us. A special thank you goes to Mrs. Graziella, who took my daughter to heart and took care of every detail, respecting her requests and going above and beyond with treats that left everyone very satisfied. I'm only sorry that Graziella couldn't be there due to the flu. I'd say the quality/price ratio was excellent, given the excellent service and the delicious food. The party was wonderful; the kids had a blast with the DJ's music and all the concessions the venue offered. It was definitely an 18th birthday party my daughter will never forget, given the wonderful treatment she received throughout. Thank you so much ❤️ Chiara

21/09/2025: Decent food. Service needs work: A bit grumpy, sometimes annoyed, they use bad humor toward the customers at the table, and the waits are truly endless. You can wait up to two hours for your entree. At the cash register, the owner harasses those paying with American Express in a not-so-subtle manner, irritably taking his disappointment out on the customer. Very bad; real commerce is something else entirely.

27/08/2025: Very small rooms that are in need of renovation and have a somewhat strong smell. The rooms are very noisy, and you can hear your neighbor's snoring. The hallway to the rooms is very stuffy and smells bad. The terrace is rather uncomfortable and dated. No restaurant, only breakfast is served. Breakfast is rather limited and somewhat lackluster. Dishes are dirty. Few restaurants nearby. The surrounding area is industrial, with few activities, and no shops in the immediate vicinity. The rooms have a sea view, and the beach is a short walk away. The pool is clean.

14/11/2025: The octopus sandwich is delicious and exceptional. I took the classic one but there are variations with burrata and other types of sandwiches. Generous portions. Quick and cordial, and you can pair it with drinks from the fridge, beers and whatever else.

For my graduation, I commissioned a pistachio and white chocolate cake, meticulously crafted down to the last detail. From the first contact, I encountered great professionalism, courtesy, and a willingness to listen to my requests, which were executed impeccably. The cake, in addition to being aesthetically stunning, proved to be a true masterpiece of flavor, perfectly balanced. Despite being transported from Lucera to Bologna by car, thanks to a suitable refrigeration system, the cake remained perfectly intact, retaining the freshness, texture, and flavor of a freshly made cake. The guests were thrilled, and the cake was unanimously praised both for its beauty and the quality of the ingredients. The experience was so satisfying that, shortly thereafter, I decided to order a similar cake again, in a smaller size, to celebrate my graduation with my family in Foggia. On that occasion, too, the result was excellent in every way. I also purchased mini pizzas and small pastries, products that stood out for their fragrance, flavor, and care in their preparation. These items also maintained their characteristics perfectly during transport, confirming the high quality of the workmanship. In conclusion, Bar Svevo has proven to be a go-to place for anyone seeking impeccable service, top-quality artisanal products, and attentive and professional customer service. 14/09/2025: On the morning of the 6th, before leaving Vieste, I bought a delicious 2-kg loaf of bread, half a focaccia from Puglia, and three packets of traditional tarallucci. We ate the focaccia for dinner during the trip: excellent, fragrant, and delicious. I split the bread in half so I could give it to my son, but we devoured the other half in three days: breakfast, lunch, a snack, and dinner, and it was always soft and easy to slice. Try it and believe it! 😋😋😋😋😋

05/09/2025: Disgraceful! €23 for 2 mostaccioli and 2 pieces of focaccia. They let the one behind them go first because they knew it, and we had to wait 10 minutes for the next one. Inappropriate behavior, extremely high prices compared to other bakeries in Vieste!!! I do not recommend it! And when I pointed out how annoying the attitude was, the only question they asked was if I wanted anything else. Shocked by the price, I left. For the first time, I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. The bag of mostaccioli wasn't even closed, had no label, no price, no list of foods and allergens, practically everything was non-compliant, not regular, not expected, and I have never bought them for €9.40 each!!!! ABSURD!!!
