08/08/2025: For five years, we've been spending our holidays in Vieste at Villaggio San Lorenzo, a property distinguished by its strategic location on the Europa seafront, just steps from the beach and minutes from the town center. Overall, the resort is well-maintained and offers clean, comfortable accommodations. Beach service is included in the price, and the property also has a swimming pool and tennis court. Entertainment is not provided. The staff has always been courteous, helpful, and attentive to guests' needs. Another strong point is the prices, which remain consistently affordable.

18/04/2025: Non vedo l'ora di tornare ad Otranto per cenare in questo ristorantino, un po' fuori dalla zona dei ristoranti turistici, ma comunque in centro. Gli antipasti della casa sono veramente buonissimi: tutti piatti di terra caserecci che ti fanno sentire veramente in salento! Abbiamo preso anche la pasta con la ricotta forte, veramente consigliata! Niente di particolare i secondi, purtroppo ai dolci non siamo riusciti ad arrivare...ma vale la pena tornare anche solo per fare il bis di antipasti! Assolutamente consigliato per chi vuole assaporare piatti semplici e gustosissimi! Il servizio cortese, il prezzi corretti.

29/12/2024: Siamo stati molto contenti e soddisfatti. Gli antipasti misticerano tutti molto buoni. Ci sono state offerte delle pittule appena fatte, calde croccanti e saporite. Vermicelli cozze e fagioli e sagne ncannulate saporite ed equilibrate.

29/03/2025: I thought I could buy it any time I went there like in Korea, so I went on a weekday, but I was first impressed by the kindness of the person who said that they could buy sfogliatelle on the weekend and that they would make it for me. I went again on the weekend, and I was secondly impressed by the kindness of the person who said that they were happy to see me. I was thirdly impressed when I tasted it at my accommodation. You can buy cronetto and Italian pastries at any bar, but pastries at a pastry shop are different. The pastry dough is delicious and the cream is so delicious. I hope that after reading this review, many Koreans will go there and spend money so that it becomes popular and can be eaten not only on weekends but also on regular days. It's really, really delicious, so if you go to Bari, please stop by this pastry shop!! And I feel like there are more really good bakeries near my accommodation than near tourist attractions. ㅎㅎ

04/05/2025: It's not just any place... even if it only stops us for lunch. It's a real EXPIRIENCE. Today I tasted (house entrée) the best freshly baked brioche bread in the world with French butter flavored with herbs. A homemade potato crochettone, served with mortadella and cream cheese (excellent!) and a really delicious yellow pumpkin flan as an appetizer, and the agnolotti freshly made by Agnese (the owner and chef of Villa De Donatis) with hand-rolled pastry and filled with parmesan cream (exceptional!!). All seasoned with excellent Salento wine, a breathtaking view and a familiar environment full of real life. Agnese SUPER!! Absolutely highly recommended ❤️

03/06/2025: Second time I return to this restaurant, Unfortunately I was disappointed (maybe the wrong night) I had reserved a Sunday night when we arrived it was closed, I called kindly and they said it was coming.. We entered and were seated at the table, there were no waiters, he was alone, tables still dirty from lunch, he really I think woken up from a nap, very kind I can't say otherwise but the place is quite run down. Good dishes, price too. I recommend more cleaning.. But I will return to see if it was the wrong night...

12/08/2025: I booked via WhatsApp and arrived at the appointed time, but the table needed to be set up. It was ready in 5 minutes. I should start by saying I'm not sure they actually reserved the table, because when I made my reservation, they simply replied "yes," without asking for any further information, like my name and phone number. It's a casual restaurant, heavily focused on meat. We ordered croquettes, a pizza, a hamburger, a Coke, a beer, and a homemade spumone, a typical Salento dessert. Everything was delicious, and the wait was quick, even though it was Saturday, August 9th. Price: €45.

15/07/2025: Certamente di gusto i loro preparati, servizio anche rapido e tanta cortesia da parte delle ragazze al bancone… Ma esser lì a prenotare qualcosa da mangiare e ritrovarsi un cuoco che esce dalla cucina e apertamente arronzare le ragazze per le preparazioni sei tavoli all’esterno, lascia un po’ basiti su quello che dovrebbe essere i panni sporchi da lavare in famiglia. Decisamente no!… il cliente non vuole sentire cose del genere mentre ordina qualcosa. Le ragazze hanno continuato ad essere professionali nascondendo l’imbarazzo. Occorre che qualcuno glielo dica, un locale si apprezza anche per questo.

23/08/2025: Lunch experience. Cooked seafood appetizer €25 (bruschetta with salmon and butter, bruschetta with anchovies and stracciatella, 7 fresh mussels, squid in white sauce, and classic octopus). Cover charge €3, water €3, small sea bream with potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and olives (baked) €25. Normal portions, above-average prices. I recommend reading other users' negative reviews to learn how to deal with the staff. They aren't rude, but it's true that they're not clear and you need to ask specific questions and demand precise answers. The price and weight of the fish weren't clear. However, with these precautions, you can have a fairly peaceful lunch. The fish is definitely fresh and local (for the counter-service fish, you're allowed to choose from the ones displayed, as soon as they're delivered). First courses range from €16 to €25. €84 for a lunch, even if it's seafood, but with that quantity, isn't worth it. The appetizer included some very good dishes, but also dishes that were too simple to represent the price tag. Shoulders. The fish stall (€80/kg) suffers from the excessive price. Not a bad experience, but I recommend it for large groups (4 or more), to sample everything individually and to avoid spending too much, as other users have reported. An experience worth trying once for a treat.

21/08/2025: @ATTENTION@ RESTAURANT FOR UNPROVIDENT TOURISTS!! Restaurant recommended by the Maître d' at the best hotel in Bari. The food is unquestionably good, but it's really difficult to eat badly in Bari. The waiter is attentive to everything, but he's also a bit crafty, and the fact that he recommends something then causes a moment of anger when you go to pay. We had lunch for five of us, eating: 1 burratina each, 2 bruschettas each with butter and salmon, and the other with stracciatella and anchovy, crudités as pictured, 1 bottle of rosé, 2 bottles of water, 5 sorbets, and 3 coffees. The bill was over €80 per person. The problem arose when I entered the restaurant to pay the bill. I witnessed the waiter who served us gesticulating as if he were chopping meat with an axe and telling the person doing the bill to add it to the bill, saying, "Come on, come on, don't worry, add it!" This shows that restaurants like this will have trouble staying open in the long run, as you can rip people off once, but they never come back, and most importantly, they'll never recommend the same restaurant to others. In fact, most of the customers, as confirmed by locals, are tourists passing through; locals either don't go there because it's too expensive, or, more importantly, if you move a few hundred meters, you'll find restaurants where the food is much better and the price is significantly lower. I will definitely never return to this restaurant, not because the food is bad, but because of the sly management, from the waiters to the restaurant manager, and even the owner. When I asked, "But the raw fish has tripled in price compared to the menu," his response was, "Well, this year there's no fish; what you can get is expensive!" You should be ashamed of yourself for scamming your customers!!! I STRONGLY DISCOMMEND!

21/08/2025: We went to Arcu te pratu for the first time yesterday and they really deserve it, we found the staff, including the managers, extremely kind and helpful, the dishes were abundant but above all delicious and above all a rare thing lately in Puglia, the prices were really honest.... I highly recommend it :)
