29/06/2025: The beer house with the perfect beer temperature! Even in summer! As a beer house, the food is just an accompaniment so the choice is limited even if what is there is delicious. Perfect background music to create an easy atmosphere, typical interior of a beer house where you can spend hours... For me 💯

26/06/2025: A point of reference in Taranto where you feel at ease: the beer selection, both on tap and in bottles/cans, is varied and thirst-quenching (important especially in summer) and is completed with the food side, where we found the taralli and their "puccia" very good. Definitely worth returning to.

12/08/2025: We ended up here by chance while looking for a quick pizza before visiting Lecce. Delicious pizza, perfect quality and quantity of ingredients! We also had the fried calzones. Everything was perfect. The owners? Fabulous and incredibly kind! Keep up the good work! Congratulations!

28/08/2025: We were here two nights. The first night we had Seafood salad (very good). Two starters, one with seafood (very, very good) and one with turnip tops (equally good). For the main course, fried calamari, simply spectacular: soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. The best in town. As a side dish, simple fries, but well-fried. For dessert, a very good Rocher cake. Final verdict on the first night: I recommend you go. Excellent value for money; I would have paid even more for the quality. The second night, we had a mixed fried fish appetizer (9/10), followed by two pizzas. A sausage and fries, and a bufalina pizza. Pizza: 8/10, according to a Neapolitan!

15/08/2025: Dinner with the family. We didn't use the rooms. As for the food, you have to like their vegan approach. For me (a carnivore), the appetizer was excellent, the first course was perhaps a bit too heavy, and the dessert was delicious. We didn't order the second course because we were too full. What's striking, however, is the tranquility of the place, a true oasis of peace just steps from the road. Add to that a lovely welcome from Francesca, and you've got a truly relaxing evening.

05/05/2025: Eating at Piccapane is a unique experience: a family environment surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent vegan dishes prepared with attention and love. This was the feeling we felt yesterday at lunch, from the welcome from the very kind staff to the tasting of the dishes, in the choice of which we were carefully guided. The food is incredible, a joy of simple flavors with refined combinations. There is also a small shop where you can purchase their products. Finding an entirely vegan restaurant in Salento was a dream until recently. Piccapane is truly a virtuous example, spokesperson for a change that we hope will spread more and more. (access is also allowed to animals ❤️)

12/10/2025: We dined at the Gandula Restaurant in Cesate, a charming location surrounded by a large green space, making it an ideal destination for important events such as weddings, first communions, and so on. The restaurant has a welcoming indoor dining room, a covered outdoor area, and—the real highlight—a vast, illuminated garden that creates a magical atmosphere. The service is attentive, and the menu is simple yet sophisticated. We ordered risotto with ossobuco (very good) and excellent paccheri with cherry tomatoes and stracciatella. We will definitely return to try the cotoletta alla milanese: we saw some magnificent ones paraded between the tables, and it will be our next stop. Although some dishes are a bit pricey, the quality of the cuisine and the ambiance are worth the visit.

11/10/2025: A week after our wedding at this beautiful location, I can begin by saying that it has become a special place for us. From the moment we first arrived at Gandula, we felt a connection with Maddalena, who listened to us and accommodated us in every way (until the day before, I had some people in doubt due to health problems, and even then she was super, which is not a given). The wedding day was perfect and magical, from the ceremony to the aperitif to the lunch. All our guests complimented us on everything! We were happy and thrilled because everything was perfect! 19/10/2025: Limited menu. Only grilled meat and appetizers. No first courses, pizzas, or pucce. The pizza chef is on vacation, so either you order meat and fried food or you go elsewhere.

12/09/2025: Everything was excellent, the horse meat pieces in sauce were fabulous, and what can I say about the croquettes? It was the first time I'd eaten them, and it was a surprise. Excellent service, very affordable prices, and normal wait times. I'll definitely be back.

29/09/2025: Not 5 stars because it's small, and it's difficult for large tables. Otherwise, it's a wonderful evening in good company. The bar is truly Bourbon, with cocktails and a variety of selections. Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: I called for a home delivery pizza. They tell me for 8.30pm and I say ok, they call me back and tell me 10 minutes and I say ok... they ask me how I pay and I say in cash they tell me ok thanks see you soon... then the guy arrives with the pizza and tells me 14 euros for a spicy salami and gorgonzola... obviously I tell him to tell his boss that he's a thief... he replies 'but didn't they tell you that home delivery costs 5 euros?? What do you ask me for 5 euros to make 250m?? All I had to do was say it and I wouldn't take it... absurd... one star, absolutely don't take home delivery pizza...

19/09/2025: Recommended by our hotel (Imago), it was a short walk. At 8pm mid- week, it was uncrossed and welcoming. It is a family run business - son serving, mama in yer 80s cooking and papa clearing plates. Simple local menu choices, good wine by the glass or bottle, and some of the best pasta I have had in a very long time.

18/09/2025: Wonderful ambiance. We were treated very courteously. The kitchen greeted us with focaccia and panzerotti. The food was excellent. We felt very comfortable.

09/09/2025: We went for lunch on both Wednesday and Sunday. On Wednesday, there was nothing to complain about; the appetizers and main courses were superb. I have a few complaints about Sunday, but I want to give a bonus because it was crowded and perhaps the organization wasn't perfect. I'll definitely go back, because the food was good and the dishes were well-prepared, hoping it was just a small Sunday lapse.

31/08/2025: We ate very well and a lot. Reasonable prices, and you can eat both inside and outside. There's parking outside. Service is fairly quick, and the waiters are helpful. The pizzas are also good, and my son ate the whole thing—that's quite an accomplishment.
