01/11/2025: We went to this place last night...what can I say? Speechless! If there were 100 stars, I'd give them all...everything was excellent, from the food (huge appetizers), to the lovely owners, and very reasonable prices. My advice? Go soon!!
25/08/2025: My family and I decided to have dinner one evening. Ridiculous portions...a paltry grilled meat and ridiculous side dishes (two tiny slices of zucchini and two of eggplant).
Very mediocre for a total of €64 for 4 people.
Avoid, go elsewhere.

The atmosphere is pleasant, small and cozy, but that's where the positives end.
We ordered a local white wine... I've never had such a bad wine, it was rancid, the worst kind...
I ordered seafood soup and got a bowl of mussels in their own sauce. As for the seafood, there were two shrimp heads in it, and that was the end of the seafood...
I was hoping for a second course.
Sea bass with vegetables... literally a dish for a small child. Zero spices, everything souce. Two small, thin fish fillets, covered with thin slices of carrot and, I think, zucchini, with a few thin strips of carrot and some other vegetable on the side. That was the end of the €15 meal...

08/02/2026: Pizzeria right off Piazza Santo Oronzo, in true Neapolitan style and flavor. A very beautiful and characteristic place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff, attentive to every need. The pizzas are excellent, and the service is quick. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the price of a portion of fittini, €10.50, which seems excessive. The homemade ones are okay, but they consisted of 10 pieces at most (panzerotti, arancini-style meatballs, and pasta frittatas). Pizza prices are normal.
29/01/2026: A very nice place practically in Piazza Sant'Oronzo. The pizzas and desserts are very good, although one pizza was a bit burnt (it can happen). The service is friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high, but we're right in the center.

01/02/2026: The fall of a legend.
Saturday night dinner, we ordered a cuoppo and two pizzas. Let's start with the cuoppo, which had frozen mozzarella balls, some of which were empty, and the eggplant meatballs tasted only of garlic. But the real shock was the pizza... Rubbery, heavy, and hard to digest, the complete opposite of what authentic Checco Pizza used to be. I'd give it 3 stars, but I'll give it 2 because of the huge disappointment.

26/10/2025: Went for dinner here last week. I had the orecchiette frutti di mare and it was magnificent! I was thinking it looked lovely but my goodness that first mouthful.
My sister and I were the only people there that night. Which was very surprising considering how great the food was.
It made our last night in Otranto a special occasion. My sincerest thanks to the chef/owner.
17/09/2025: Enjoyed my second dinner at this restaurant. It was again excellent. A restaurant where the food is cooked with great attention to detail. In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Otranto. Insider tip!

13/04/2026: I stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance during a Sunday bike ride – and what luck that was!
The menu is varied and immediately whets the appetite. The service was consistently very friendly and attentive.
I'd especially like to highlight the Spaghetti Scoglio – absolutely superb, fresh, and perfectly prepared.
Add to that the fantastic location right by the sea, which gives the whole place a truly special atmosphere.
Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!

09/04/2026: Unfortunately the food was outrageously terrible, the waitress didn't speak English. We had to send the food back.
06/04/2026: We booked for Easter Monday without knowing it personally, we just knew the food was good and I must say honestly that there were six of us and everyone was satisfied!!! Good, quality food, plentiful and to finish the meal a delicious shortcrust pastry tart with cream and strawberries 😋😋... a very positive experience, we will definitely be back 👍👍

04/11/2025: The hotel has many advantages: a beautiful view, nice rooms. I wasn't happy with the food; it was sparse, tasteless, and very basic. It didn't feel like a hotel. The climb up and down to and from the beach was very tiring because the steps are high, making it difficult to navigate, especially uphill. Fortunately, there was a shuttle service at certain times of the day.
11/10/2025: It enjoys a simply spectacular location and view, the rooms are clean, very welcoming and equipped with a small balcony, the cuisine could be improved
