05/06/2026: Paying €22 for a Margherita, a Rossa with parmesan and prosciutto, and a portion of fries would be questionable enough, but receiving an order in these conditions is simply unacceptable. The pizza was a disaster: raw on the bottom and burned on the top, with a soft, rubbery dough that couldn't even be cut with a knife. The mozzarella was poor quality, and the overall flavor left much to be desired. To make matters worse, the pizzas arrived all battered, with the toppings piled up on one side due to evidently careless transportation. Prices are typical of a quality pizzeria, and the product and service are simply unacceptable. A terrible experience in every way. Never again.

22/04/2026: Both the classic pizza and the scrochiarella (one of the few pizzerias in Taranto offering this variation) are delicious. The location is strategic, being in the center but also close to the seafront, making it easy to reach on foot or by car. Definitely worth a try!

10/05/2026: Today, Sunday, May 10th, my family and I went to this place. I'd never heard of it, being from Bari, but we were all pleasantly surprised. Excellent food, very kind and friendly staff, and attention to detail. I absolutely recommend it.

02/05/2026: We went in to make a reservation, they told us there was no room, then they told us to wait because there was a table at the Amari. We said we were outside in the park, and every now and then we went to check on the table, and they still told us to wait. After more than half an hour, we went in and found it free. They told us that the table we had reserved belonged to another group of 8. Moral of the story, they rudely kicked us out with 6 hungry children, when they could have warned us at the beginning that there was no option for dinner there. There is no organization, much less communication between colleagues. A shame because the location is gorgeous, but the staff is rude. A total disappointment because let's remember that attentive staff, among many other things, is the key to a good restaurant. We were truly disappointed, especially for the children.

17/05/2026: Calling it a Nutella panzerotto is an exaggeration: unfortunately, the filling is almost nonexistent and all you can smell is the aroma. It's not bad, but I would have expected to be able to actually stuff it. If you're looking for a sweet treat to satisfy your cravings, I recommend Cornetteria Zio Mimmo: for just €1, you can enjoy a croissant (or other specialties) filled with Nutella, cream, or black cherries. For comparison, at Big Panzerotti, €1.50 barely covers the service charge, while at Zio Mimmo, for less than the same price, you can eat an excellent and very filling product. There's no comparison.

03/05/2026: Small shop that makes various types of panzarotti with a mozzarella and tomato base, and various sizes of shoulder, both medium and large. The fried food is dry and medium-crispy. In addition to the panzerorotto, they also offer various fried foods such as mozzarella balls, polenta, arancini, and chicharrones. Food is available for takeout, or you can sit down, even though there are plenty of tables! Recommended!

05/11/2025: We stopped in Foggia for a couple of days and had breakfast at this café. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is friendly. The guy at the coffee machine was very good. I had a really good latte macchiato. It's a shame, though, that the brioches (Venetian and a similar chocolate one) didn't live up to my high expectations. I didn't like them at all. Next time I'll try the croissants.

Oliviero, the host, innkeeper, and poet, welcomes you with warmth and simplicity; his delightful daughters will serve you promptly and cordially; his wife, Mirella, assisted in the kitchen by Antonietta, prepares flavorful dishes that will be served in generous portions. Tip: Stop by Acaya and the trattoria and, after enjoying a delicious dinner, enjoy the peaceful village with its splendid view of the castle and the narrow streets.

26/12/2025: The place is welcoming, but I think the service could use some work. The pasta was overcooked, and both the appetizers and main courses were over-seasoned, with too much oil. It fell short of my expectations.

13/05/2026: Some friends and I had the pistachio pinsa, which was delicious, but three of us opted for a mozzarella and prosciutto sandwich. The sandwich was served in four wedges and was very filling, but the prosciutto was so salty it was practically inedible. It's a shame, as the place has a very welcoming atmosphere. The music inside was excessively loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation.

03/03/2026: We stayed at a property in Lucera that didn't offer dinner, but Noemi recommended catering. It was a delightful experience, both personally and culinary. Noemi is courteous and knowledgeable. The ingredients are top-quality, and since you eat with your eyes as well, everything was refined, colorful, and inviting. Thank you so much, and with...taste.

29/04/2026: What a lovely meal. The restaurant was very quiet at lunchtime but there was a nice feel to the place especially as music was playing. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here. The calamari fritti was done to perfection with a really light batter. My mum adored her fish which was so fresh and delicate. My husband and I loved our pasta dishes. Can't wait to go back.

10/03/2026: Anyone looking for a pizza in complete tranquility and at a good price is in the right place. I'd revisit the beers. There's no draft beer available, only bottled beer, which isn't exactly cheap. All in all, a good place!

29/12/2025: Mediocre pizza, neither Roman-style nor Neapolitan-style. It seemed more like a piadina. The lady at the cash register was smiling and served us promptly. The dining room needs a bit of a cleanup, because self-service is fine, but the tables need to be cleaned better, and the chair cushions should be attached, otherwise it's difficult to leave your seat. Prices are a bit high for the quality; I was expecting a regular pizza, not a very thin piadina with a slightly burnt edge. I wasn't impressed.

30/05/2026: Excellent choice. Recommended by a friend. The pizzas are excellent, and not only that. Next time, spaghetti 🍝 all'assassina is a must.

24/01/2026: Excellent. Welcoming restaurant, friendly, polite, and attentive staff. We were invited to a birthday party. There were three of us vegans, and we were served wonderfully. Everything was delicious. They even made a delicious chickpea flour and cocoa cake with a custard filling. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.

20/01/2026: We were there last Sunday for a baptism, and of course the menu had already been decided... anyway, I found the two starters good, but the fried fish was much less so... dark, small, and rather bitter. On the other hand, the service was really efficient and attentive.
