15/08/2025: Invited by friends to spend an evening, it wasn't difficult to find parking because the restaurant is located on a wide road on the edge of town. Service was relatively quick, welcoming us with a small plate of pittole. The pizzas (by the meter), light and well-cooked, were tasty. The price is PERHAPS a little (just a little) above average, but that's also due to the fact that, being an outdoor restaurant far from the town center, we found ourselves avoiding the August evening heat, and the children were able to play in the adjacent park.

16/09/2025: Good appetizers and first courses, friendly staff, some small service lapses due to the day (Sunday) and the absence of some staff, but overall good. Regarding the location, they are undergoing renovations. It's a popular spot.

The best pizza we had in Italy.
01/10/2025: Excellent appetizers, thin, crispy pizza, really tasty, dessert was not bad, but I recommend offering other options... very kind waitress, reasonable wait times, and above all excellent quality-price ratio!!! The fixed menu at €14 is really very good... we've already been there 3 or 4 times, we'll be back, and we highly recommend it... great job!

18/10/2025: Probably the best panna cotta I’ll ever eat in my life, the consistency and flavour was amazing. Our sweet and helpful server Manuella said she’s the one who makes all the desserts herself - compliments ! The meals, decorations and atmosphere were homey and authentic-feeling — overall a very lovely dinner.

We were a little disappointed with the food, though; the savory dishes weren't all that great.
The pastries, on the other hand, were good.
29/10/2025: It's one of the few places in the city center open during siesta. We opted for the ice cream and were delighted. It was delicious and the portions were large.

16/11/2025: I discovered the place thanks to an ad on Instagram.
A welcoming place and very kind staff.
We had a mixed fried fish dish, everything delicious, but I was particularly impressed by the meatballs and potato croquettes. You could tell they weren't frozen, but tasted like homemade.
Excellent pizza, very light dough, despite being quite elaborate.
And to finish? Pan di Stelle tiramisu, a delight.
We'll definitely be back.
09/11/2025: The food is good, but the behavior of some of the waitresses was truly unprofessional: they were more focused on flirting with customers than serving tables. Such behavior ruins the restaurant's image. If management tolerates this way of working, it means they approve of certain behaviors—and that also says a lot about the management of the place. A real shame, because the food deserves better.

04/09/2025: The owner is rude and doesn't know what to do. The customers don't even know how to run a restaurant, and that scares them away. It's a terrible experience. Remember, it was August 15th. You sat me down and only wanted me to eat the €15 menu. Four things, what the hell? I asked for the grilled meat and you said only if you ordered the appetizer. I even came in the evening. The pizza was terrible.

15/08/2025: Dinner with the family. We didn't use the rooms.
As for the food, you have to like their vegan approach. For me (a carnivore), the appetizer was excellent, the first course was perhaps a bit too heavy, and the dessert was delicious. We didn't order the second course because we were too full.
What's striking, however, is the tranquility of the place, a true oasis of peace just steps from the road. Add to that a lovely welcome from Francesca, and you've got a truly relaxing evening.
05/05/2025: Eating at Piccapane is a unique experience: a family environment surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent vegan dishes prepared with attention and love. This was the feeling we felt yesterday at lunch, from the welcome from the very kind staff to the tasting of the dishes, in the choice of which we were carefully guided. The food is incredible, a joy of simple flavors with refined combinations. There is also a small shop where you can purchase their products.
Finding an entirely vegan restaurant in Salento was a dream until recently. Piccapane is truly a virtuous example, spokesperson for a change that we hope will spread more and more.
