29/08/2025: They took me to this restaurant because they said they served fish. If by fish you mean prawns (€10 per kg) or frozen cuttlefish, then this is the place for you. The restaurant was founded in 1966 and the menu hasn't changed much in all these years. I really don't understand how this place can continue, despite the truly excellent restaurants in the Foggia area. The final twist was that, after we apologized for the crying child, they also said that's not the way to do things, thus making it clear to us that we weren't welcome. They said I had to either quiet my child or sit him in front of the smartphone to calm him down. Besides, there was a family of their relatives at the table inside with two children with their phones in their hands. I'm sorry, but I try to limit smartphone use to a 20-month-old child at all costs. In my opinion, when you no longer feel like working, it's better to stay home.

21/08/2025: Years after my first review here, the place remains impeccable. The food is truly good. The staff is friendly and polite. In my opinion, the only problem now is the prices don't fully reflect what I've consumed.

20/08/2025: I feel compelled to change my review to a negative one. After last year's experience where they lost our reservation, we returned this year for the good pizza and the gluten-free pizza. Unfortunately, we found the service extremely slow; we waited an hour and a half for our pizzas. They're increasingly disorganized. I should add that they don't let you split the bill.

14/08/2025: I've been here for the sixth time. I hope this is enough to evaluate the place.

13/08/2025: I and another couple of friends stayed at a welcoming location. The pizza and tuna steak were excellent, and most importantly, the bread was fresh!!! A few small points to check, if you'd like: the pizzas and tuna arrived at different times; my pizza, though excellent, arrived with regular dough (I had ordered it with whole grains like the others); the dessert selection is a bit limited. I recommend a few desserts, but strictly from the bakery; I'd eliminate pre-packaged items. Small details that can easily be modified to achieve the best. Kudos also to the always-smiling staff!

04/09/2025: We had an amazing meal here the night before heading home. Its very popular with locals and for good reason. You select your cuts of meat before its chargrilled over hot coals......the local wine list is superb and so we'll priced. We loved the ambiance, service and food here. Thoroughly recommend....

10/08/2025: A fantastic meal at a wonderful restaurant. The food was exceptional, their pizzas are the best we have had in Italy and the staff could not be more welcoming. A real special place and we will certainly be going back.

24/06/2025: We ordered three different pasta dishes, all three of which were the worst we've had in Italy since I've been here two weeks ago, and this is my fifth time in this country. The vegetables were turnips, which I always like, but they didn't go well with the pasta at all.

28/05/2025: A beautiful dinner in an elegant and relaxing environment, far from the chaos that now prevails in any restaurant on a Saturday evening. Elegant dishes with excellent raw materials, of the highest quality, the menu is concentrated on a few courses but elaborated at the highest levels of cuisine. Recommended for candlelit dinners, or with small groups of friends, also because the vast choice of wine and other alcohol can make you spend a superlative evening!!! Excellent, from all points of view, I would only give a little advice: coffee should always be there after dinner! For the rest, everything perfect!

18/05/2025: Uva rara is a special place, a rare pearl in the Foggia panorama, a bit of a wine shop, a bit of a restaurant, both high-level things. The interior of the place is a living room, it has a cozy and serene atmosphere, informal and well-kept. The food is very good, both cold and hot dishes, with uncommon choices (the anchovies with Saint Marcellino are worth trying, the pork belly as well). The drinks are equally good, with excellent bottles (and not just wine, but also spirits and cocktails), and with staff who know how to help you in your choice and dedicate time to you. People are the secret ingredient of the place, once you get in tune it's like going to dinner with friends.

21/06/2025: From one turist to another... Eat here! Great food with good prices. Although they don't speak english, we didn't see it like a problem.

23/08/2025: A very characteristic restaurant at the foot of the trulli of Alberobello. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food and gluten-free options. Since I'm gluten and lactose intolerant, I found alternatives. I had the delicious bombette (veal roulades) and the excellent orecchiette with tomato sauce. My husband had the delicious and tender pork shank. Excellent quality. We definitely recommend it.

29/03/2025: Classic local pizzeria, without a particular identity, very standard in decor, too behind the times. The dishes are also acceptable, we should work a little more on the pizza dough, to give it a touch of personality. Recommended if you have no alternatives in the area, in a group with friends it is more suitable.

20/03/2025: Quiet midweek evening, non-noisy environment, friendly staff. The owner is a person from another era. A gentleman. Highly recommended.

31/08/2025: I'm forced to give it one star because it couldn't be any lower. We sat in the dining room, but had to rush out due to the manager's utter curse. He treats his customers without any kindness, being rude, ignorant, and rude. Luckily, there are other pizzerias in Giovinazzo. It's best to avoid them.

I'm now reading the owner's response, but I reiterate the point already written: one of the worst places we have been to, with very poor quality food and moreover cooked by non-chefs.

10/06/2025: J'avais demandé à l'IA le chat mistral un restaurant à Alberbello qui ne soit pas un attrape touriste, il m'a conseillé celui-ci ! Pas déçu, bon rapport qualité prix, et serveurs très gentils, il y avait même une serveuse qui parlait français ! Parfait !
