12/10/2025: The hotel and the rooms are clean. They are cleaned every day. The location is very good, but unfortunately, almost everything is closed during the off-season. The breakfast isn't great; it's the same every day, and there's little choice. What was definitely annoying was the noise from the daily changing tour groups arriving by bus. There was a constant coming and going. Unfortunately, the pool was also closed.

21/02/2026: We went to this pizzeria last week and will never return due to its terrible service and rude, incompetent, and unprepared staff. We sat down at 8:30 PM, ordered right away, but ate our pizzas at 11:20 PM, at which point we discovered that one of our fellow diners couldn't be served his dish because it was off the menu... a very complicated spaghetti with garlic and oil. All this topped off by rude staff who think they can mock the customers, and by an extremely unpleasant gas smell from the stoves that lingered throughout the ENTIRE evening.
Highly not recommended!
13/02/2026: We celebrated my wife's birthday and were very satisfied with both the food and the service.

27/10/2025: I had an excellent pizza at this pizzeria; the dough was very light and easy to digest. The menu is quite varied: cold cuts and cheese platters, grilled vegetables as appetizers, fried foods, salads, baguettes, meat main courses, and ice cream. In addition to the classic pizzas, the menu offers a wide variety of other very unique and original flavors. Highly recommended!

16/12/2025: I'm only speaking from my experience.
So, when we arrived, despite having booked a table for five at 9:30 PM (via text), no one had noted our reservation.
The appetizers arrived after about 40 minutes, and to top off the experience, some of us had our pizzas arrive at 11:16 PM, while those who had ordered sandwiches saw them arrive after another 20 minutes. After a two-hour wait, in my opinion, you'll definitely lose your appetite.
The quality of the dishes was also decent, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for those in a hurry.
In my very humble opinion, the kitchen, in addition to having an enormous menu, isn't capable of handling so many guests... otherwise, there wouldn't have been a two-hour wait.
25/11/2025: We visited this pizzeria and really appreciated the large outdoor space, perfect for summer evenings. The atmosphere is nice, but the service leaves a bit to be desired; there were probably too many customers and the staff couldn't keep up with everything. The wait was also quite long. The pizzas are good, though nothing exceptional.

25/10/2025: This is the first time I've given only one star. I asked for a buffalo mozzarella, but I received a dull Margherita with very little mozzarella (definitely not buffalo mozzarella!) and a creamy sauce that tasted like whipped cream. A total disappointment!

08/03/2026: In 2026, it's unthinkable to be served on plastic plates and paper tablecloths.
If I go to a restaurant, I want to pay a fair cover charge.
To be honest, I don't remember whether we were charged or not.
The quality of the food wasn't good enough for me. For such a renowned establishment (they say), I would have expected much more.
16/01/2026: I'm not from Puglia, so this "fornello" was a real surprise for me. Everything was good, and the price was really good. Highly recommended.

02/01/2026: Let me start by saying we ate there for lunch on December 31st. They were busy preparing a takeout dinner for New Year's Eve, and the girl who served us had warned us they only had a few portions of pasta and side dishes available. We agreed to serve the pasta, which wasn't cooked to order, but was definitely made the day before and reheated in the microwave without a lid (it was dry and tough). We ate it because we were hungry. I was honestly disappointed, especially with the very small portion and the high price for the quality and service. I don't recommend it.

01/01/2026: Everything was fine except for the New Year's Eve organization: tables for 13 and tables for 7 without any apparent logic. By the end of the evening, two women's bathrooms and one men's bathroom had become three women's bathrooms and two men's portable toilets, with no way for us men to even wash our hands.
Even when we asked politely, they categorically refused to let us use the bathroom.
As a restaurant, it's okay, but I wouldn't recommend it for large events.
30/12/2025: We received a preliminary information email from Villa Vergine that did not specify the mandatory minimum number of 130 people. Based on this information, we booked the venue and paid a €2,000 security deposit.
Upon receiving the contract, we discovered the existence of this essential clause. Unable to meet this minimum, we did not sign the contract. Despite the obvious lack of prior information, the organizer refused to refund the deposit.
We found this situation dishonest and very disappointing, especially considering the importance of an event like a wedding.

28/01/2026: Fantastic experience at Braceria Braciami Ancora da Giuseppe, in San Giorgio Jionico.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by truly kind, helpful, and attentive staff who made you feel right at home.
The meat is simply exceptional: top-quality, perfectly cooked, and authentic flavors that are evident from the first bite.
The decor is also fabulous, with attention to every detail and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Finally, the homemade tiramisu was the icing on the cake.
A place I will return to and recommend to anyone who loves good meat.
Congratulations to all the staff ❤️🔥✨
