19/10/2025: Excellent experience. I found this trattoria by chance, passing through on a Sunday outing, and I think I was truly lucky.
A warm and courteous welcome, a simple, clean, and comfortable atmosphere. As soon as we sat down, we felt like we were at an aunt's house for Sunday lunch—a wonderful feeling of sincerity and care. The dishes represent local tradition, with excellent ingredients and truly exquisite homemade preparations. The portions are generous and more than satisfying. I recommend the selection of appetizers, with a special focus on the cheeses and flavored olives.
Affordable prices.
I really hope to return!

18/11/2025: Unfortunately, this restaurant hasn't bothered to update its opening hours. It's closed.
06/11/2025: We had lunch at Osteria del D'Avalos last week, but we come here often when we're in the area. It's an excellent restaurant: excellent traditional dishes (the appetizers are delicious!), very friendly staff, and a very welcoming place.

27/08/2025: I paid €2.50 for a baked panzerotto and €2 for a fried one, but I was totally disappointed by the size: truly tiny. I'd say half the size of the standard Apulian panzerotti I'm used to. A steal!

19/08/2025: Despite reservations, the time is not respected. Furthermore, they prefer to assign tables to the waiters' friends, not respecting the order in which customers arrive. They've lost a customer, and not just for one night...
06/08/2025: Sono stato a cena in questo locale c'era tanta confusione ma la cosa peggiore è che il servizio è inefficiente e impreparato e confuso arrivano gli antipasti dopo che hanno servito altre persone arrivate dopo fi noi un piatto di salmone affumicato che saranno stati 50 grammi a 12 euro più dei gamberi passabili a 20 euro dopo averli finiti dopo tante volte chiesto le bevande arriva l'acqua dopo 5 minuti il vino e per finire dopo altri 10 minuti la birra assurdo mai visto la pizza niente di che non riesco a capire come mai ci fosse così tanta gente,arrivo alla cassa faccio presente il problema e mi dice c'è confusione stasera, allora organizzatevi e imparate almeno a chiedere scusa....

16/11/2025: The wait was a bit long. The service wasn't impeccable (they didn't bring us plates to share the fries, nor glasses for wine; they only told us the arugula was out after we realized it was out). The staff was helpful. The food was overall good.
11/10/2025: An unforgettable evening on October 10th. The pizza was delicious, the company exceptional. We had the privilege of listening to live music featuring tarantellas, tammurriate, and much more. Warmth and sharing. It felt like being in a tavern in Bologna!

30/10/2025: The food was unfortunately oversalted; I think the cook was having a bad day. However, considering the prices, it's outrageous – €18 for pasta! 😀
And be sure to check the prices on the menu; they simply added €10 to the bill.
30/10/2025: Decent food with typical Apulian dishes. Small atmosphere. Attentive staff. The only flaw is the burnt fries.

There are no restrooms.
Long lines form in the evenings due to high demand.

19/11/2025: I went 10 days ago because I'd never tried it and was craving meat. Needless to say, I was left highly dissatisfied and even disgusted. The steaks weren't cooked as requested (bloody but raw inside), but above all, I didn't like the quality of the meat: it was stringy and full of fibrous septa. In fact, I had to put some bites back in my napkin because I couldn't swallow them. The service leaves much to be desired, as unfortunately, due to language barriers, the waiters struggle to communicate, but I don't blame them. The bill was disproportionate for the quantity and quality of the meat, in my opinion.
11/11/2025: Excellent meat. Preparation and cooking times are a surefire way to best enjoy the various types of meat.

16/10/2025: We had a delicious pasta with mushrooms in truffle sauce as a starter. And for the main course, we had delicious pizzas. The service was fantastic. The waiter helped us kindly and with a smile. Highly recommended for Carovigno.
