23/05/2025: The place is nice and welcoming, the service is excellent, the chips are half raw and soaked in oil, the pizza is thinner than a piadina and not very topped: not much mozzarella, not much stracciatella, in short the ingredients are scarce.
The dough is so crunchy that it breaks like a cracker.
All in all it is the alternative to a pizza.
The local bakery or takeaway pizzas are a little too dusty or floured! 🤔

A sweet breakfast based on croissants, fruit yogurts and juices from the vending machine.
Recommendation, throw in some salami and cheese for breakfast. Something salty.

Not many people, so it's comfortable and quite quiet. However, during high season, I imagine it's a completely different atmosphere...😜😱😱

05/05/2025: A very welcoming and well looked after place, really friendly and kind staff.. the pizza was truly a great surprise, light dough and excellent taste
The appetizers were also good and original... the fried caciocavallo served with delicious jam!!! 🤤
Also worth mentioning is the ease of parking

14/05/2025: Dinner last night in this location in the ancient village of Bitonto. Refined place, with internal room and external square. Professional, welcoming, helpful staff but above all easy-going with pleasant friendliness. Excellent wine cellars, well-recommended platter of cold cuts and cheeses, well-stocked menu, well-prepared first course of spaghetti all'assassina. Old style and elegant environment. I liked everything, I recommend it.
11/05/2025: We had a wonderful evening, special thanks to Luana who took such good care of us and was so welcoming. The food was amazing, we had a piece of 600g meat, their speciality “Murder” pasta (baked) and the pulpo pasta. The area (Bitonto) and interior made everything even more perfect. Trust me when I tell you it’s worth it to make a detour and visit Vinicio! When in the area again, we will be back. Thank you!

19/05/2025: We have been coming to this butcher's shop for years, everything was always good until Saturday evening...we came in a group, the next day most of us had diarrhea and vomiting...I was the first to spill my guts for a whole day...I don't think you'll see us again
10/05/2025: Beneath its discreet storefront, Il Cavallino hides a surprising treasure. The team is very welcoming, the meal exceptional for a low price. Besides, the locals are there. A very nice experience and a very nice evening.

08/06/2025: Very good food, very bad service. Waiter prioritises some tables of locals, did not bring everything we ordered, beef was not cooked as ordered. All in all, the bad service and attitude overshadowed the quality of food and the place, which is actually nice.

20/06/2025: Ottimo ristorante di pesce nella Gallipoli "nuova", in una via non molto di passaggio.
Il proprietario è molto attento nello spiegare i piatti, ricercati ma con porzioni abbondanti.
Attenzione per intolleranza al lattosio.
Ottimo antipasto di mare caldo e il polpo con crema di fave e erbette.
Lo consiglio!!!
06/05/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in una calda giornata di maggio da Olga.
Il nostro tavolo si trovava nella veranda esterna dove con una temperatura perfetta abbiamo goduto di piatti della tradizione presentati in maniera sublime con ottime materie prime.
I crudi, in particolare seppia e gambero spettacolari, notevole anche il primo piatto con ragù di polpo.
Se tornassi a Gallipoli certamente riandrei da Olga per assaggiare altri piatti del menù.

But for me the real gem was the ice cream: lemon and melon..."you die" 🍨🍦🍋🟩🍈
