Excellent value for money for the specialties. We booked through an app. The courtesy of those who provided their service (from the welcome to everything else) is very much appreciated. They made us feel welcomed. It is difficult to find this quality in a Braceria on a Saturday evening.

I went for lunch on Sunday with my family, the staff was polite, courteous and helpful... the food was really excellent, we will definitely be back.

We came to the "Eremita" grill restaurant based on the reviews. Without being argumentative or mean, I'm sorry to say we had much higher expectations than what we found: raw bombette with toothpicks (those who know the real thing know full well that they're spit-roasted, and I don't recall ever seeing toothpicks).
The carpaccio was good, the meat served on lava stone was delicious, and the long-haired lady who took our order was friendly.
After reporting the undercooked bombette, we pointed out to the waitress that there was a hair in the meat just brought to the table: no apology, and none of the employees and/or managers addressed the embarrassing situation by changing the dish or asking if we'd like something else. Last but not least, at around 11:30 PM, a man coming out of the kitchen placed a garbage bag about two meters away from us.
The bill would have been €280, and I make no secret of the €10 discount we received on the total. This means we paid €45 per person for four bombette each, a small central plate with four bruschettas, two toothpicks with torcinelli, a 1.750g piece of meat on a lava stone to share, a central plate of carpaccio, two small plates of focaccia, three central desserts (with cutlery that we asked for three times before receiving), three bitters, and two grappas. We left without anyone asking for feedback.
I hope to return and find the right balance between quality, price, and service.

Excellent grill, a really welcoming dining room with an open counter and a wide selection of meat cuts. We were there last night, excellent appetizers and perfect presentation of the meat.

It's incredible how a business like this works in Ruvo di Puglia, true quality! The staff is super friendly, and the location, though seemingly small, is well-organized. The dinner was truly mouth-watering! I challenged myself to this beautiful piece of Irish Black Angus, served on a griddle so you can choose how you like it, and I was completely satisfied. The bombettes were also delicious, and finally the chocolate cheesecake, because dessert is always a must. Prices are a bit high, but definitely in line with the quality, in my opinion. I think I'll be back!

Welcoming place, easy to find parking. Service is quite efficient, the staff is very courteous and knows how to put customers at ease. Giovanni, the owner, has a great selection of meats, all TOP. My family and I ordered a 1.6 kg cut of RUBIA GALLEGA for four to share. EXCEPTIONAL!!!! In addition to this dinosaur steak, we had bombette (probably the best I've ever had), a platter of cured meats and cheeses, and a carpaccio. Yes, we spared no expense!!! But good old Giovanni treated us really well, even though it was our first time there. The desserts were also very good. We'll be back.

I've been frequenting this restaurant for years and several times, and each time, the consistent quality I find here confirms it's a winning choice for a special dinner or an evening with friends.
The meat is the true protagonist: premium cuts, aged and expertly grilled, make every dish, from the perfect tagliata to the flavorful appetizers, a memorable experience. The appetizers themselves, with selections of cured meats and cheeses, carpaccios, and tartares, open the dinner with flavor and character, while the quality steaks, often selected directly at the counter and cooked with care, are truly remarkable. The wine is excellent and pairs beautifully with the meat courses, helping to elevate the overall experience. The menu is well-stocked and perfectly complements the robust, authentic flavors of the dishes. The staff is always friendly and professional, and the atmosphere, while not sophisticated, is warm, welcoming, and spacious, with the right atmosphere for a relaxed yet quality dinner. The outdoor seating option also adds a pleasant touch on milder evenings. The prices are consistent with the quality you receive: you pay for select ingredients and meticulously prepared cuisine, and even after numerous visits, I still find them well-balanced compared to the overall experience. In short, Braceria Eremita is a great classic in Ruvo di Puglia, a place I return to without hesitation because the quality of the meat, the expertise in the kitchen, and the hospitality of the staff are confirmed year after year.
