30/11/2024: Se cercate un'esperienza culinaria indimenticabile dove il pesce è il protagonista assoluto, il ristorante Franz a Formigliana (Vc) è il luogo che fa per voi. Questo ristorante offre un ambiente accogliente e raffinato, ma anche una qualità del cibo che è semplicemente senza pari. Ogni piatto a base di pesce che ho assaggiato era fresco e preparato con una maestria che lascia senza parole. Dalle cruditè di pesce alle capesante gratinate, passando per la paella o la zuppa di pesce, la ricciola avvolta nella foglia del cavolo verza e la grigliata mista, ogni boccone era un'esplosione di sapori. La presentazione dei piatti è eseguita a regola d’arte, rendendo l'esperienza gastronomica ancora più piacevole. Il servizio è impeccabile, il signor Franz estremamente cordiale e attento, pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta con un sorriso. La conoscenza del menu e dei vini è impressionante, e sa consigliare abbinamenti perfetti per ogni portata. Nel ristorante vi è un'atmosfera calda e rilassante. L'alta qualità del cibo e del servizio confluisce in prezzi assolutamente ragionevoli. Ogni euro speso qui vale assolutamente la pena per la qualità dell'esperienza complessiva. In sintesi, Franz è una gemma nel mondo della ristorazione di pesce. Pari ad ogni ristorante pluristellato. Un posto dove ogni pasto diventa un ricordo prezioso. Non vedo l'ora di ritornarci.

12/01/2025: If you are on the Turin/Milan motorway in both directions, turn on the arrow and exit at Balocco. In addition to the beautiful medieval castle you can stop for lunch or dinner at the restaurant. Small dehors, inside a room on the left. On the right there is a small exposed corridor that opens onto two internal rooms. Nice and refined furnishings with a typical touch of the taverns of the past. Traditional Piedmontese/Vercelli/Lombardy dishes. Excellent quality raw materials interpreted by the chef (owner's wife) with great care while respecting ancient recipes. The wine list is excellent. Professional, courteous and kind owners. Photographs of the great sports champions hang on the walls. Absolutely worth trying! Nearby the Centro Sperimentale Balocco (more often referred to simply as Circuito di Balocco) is a complex of car circuits. Updated as of October 18, 2024; I confirm the high quality of the products. 02/09/2024: Stunning refuge under Monte Rosa and a very nice and super welcoming manager. The food is excellent!!! Tapulone with polenta to try! One of the best lodges I've ever visited. A true mountain refuge. To return.

21/12/2024: It was chance that brought me to this Osteria The name certainly intrigued me and took me back in time, the first time there was no room, the location is small and very welcoming, it is important to book in advance, we chose the panissa menu, I didn't know this dish, it was a nice surprise, even the excellent veal with tuna sauce. super desserts!! We will definitely return to taste the dishes on the à la carte menu, which are very appealing. 25/08/2024: An Hotel and restaurant with starred chef Pietro Perrone (Berlin, Lyon, Hotel Four Season in Milan). Quiet, beautiful rooms in contact with sounds and essences of the wild. The restaurant and hotel are located in the greenery of the hill adjacent to the entrance to the Sacro Monte and close to Galeazzo Alessi's triumphal arch. For a century the location has boasted hotel organizational capabilities but its origins date back to the seventeenth century. I had lunch with several guests and everyone had an excellent and classy welcome. In the wonderful patio, carefully assisted by Mrs. Angela Perrone, Director and Owner who leaves nothing to chance with rare management ability, the service has always been rapid and accurate, from times gone by. The aesthetically attractive dishes are curated by the international masterchef Pietro Perrone, fresh from experience in the international field from Lyon to Berlin and last but not least at the For season in Milan. It deserves to be known and to return, a hotel surrounded by nature perfect for relaxing and taking away stress. 26/11/2024: Excellent Quality and amazing service! Was greeted by nice woman and her Nonna. The food is 5 Star top quality gourmet. The waiter name was Leonardo and was kind informative and very polite. Every dish left us impressed. Local ingredients, served with a smile. The Lady is a wine expert way more qualified than any sommelier you will find in France or the west. If you are anywhere in piedmont region it is worth the drive to come and enjoy your evening at this Michelin Star restaurant.

16/11/2024: No puedo creer que este restaurante tuviera una estrella Michelin. La comida no era sabrosa presentación y el servicio era muy pobre. Sé que el sabor es individual pero sobre cocinado de pato y pescado que sienten que se cocinó de congelado acompañado de verduras asadas empapadas amargas que sentían que se cocinaron hace mucho tiempo y se microondas antes de servir no es aceptable para cualquier tipo de restaurante.
