28/08/2025: I returned with four friends after years, when it was still the historic La Pace. It's even better!! The Piedmontese cuisine is exceptional, both in quality and quantity, both the appetizers and the agnolotti with roast beef sauce. The farinata was top-notch, and the desserts were all delicious. The house Barbera red wine was also good. The prices are definitely reasonable. The expert waiter who served us was impeccable in his service and recommendations, and also very friendly, without being intrusive. I will return and also want to try the pizzas, which looked excellent. And later, the Mediterranean seafood cuisine, of which there is a wide selection.

23/08/2025: Excellent food, both the pasta and the pizza/farinata. Friendly and attentive service. They also have an indoor and outdoor playroom for children. Ample parking.

19/07/2025: Serata con amici, cibo ottimo, porzioni gigantesche e servizio impeccabile, gentili e simpatici. Io ho preso degli scialatielli alle vongole con bottarga che erano davvero fantastici.

02/05/2025: Ho sempre preso la pizza, che è ottima, ma questa volta ho optato per un primo piatto: scialatielli con cozze ,cannolicchi scampi ,capesante. Il nome del piatto"Doppio sogno" è azzeccato, perché li sogno ancora! Buonissimi! Consiglio il locale per la gentilezza e la bontà delle proposte. Alla prossima!

11/09/2025: A wonderful discovery! Interesting offerings and delicious dishes! The visual appeal of the dishes is tempting...and we weren't disappointed when we tasted them, with distinct flavors. For a price that's still very reasonable for the cuisine on offer, we can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!

The Al Castello restaurant in Moncalieri is a true gem: a historic venue, expertly renovated, combining the charm of the past with a modern and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight is undoubtedly the new terrace, with an unparalleled view of the magnificent castle: the perfect spot for a charming dinner, especially on summer evenings. The menu is varied and well-curated, with carefully prepared meat and fish dishes, and a light, thin-crust pizza topped with quality ingredients—both local and international. The wine list is extensive and select, perfect to accompany every course. Special mention goes to the desserts, all homemade and truly unmissable! Another plus: the restaurant is open every evening, which is by no means a given. I highly recommend it for those seeking good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an unforgettable view.

14/08/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant for the first time to check out the great reviews I'd read. I admit I was surprised: the staff was polite and courteous, the menu was niche, with a wide selection and, above all, ingenuity in the preparation of the dishes. There was a vast and excellent selection of wines. The atmosphere was clean and well-kept, with a beautiful view of the city of Turin and the Moncalieri castle. I'll definitely be back. 👍

The "Young" chef Lorenzo, knows how to amaze with his simple dishes but full of love for his work. Excellent raw materials. The dining room manager coordinates everything with experience and kindness. Thanks guys for the beautiful/good experience! Keep it up. See you next time to taste new proposals.

21/08/2025: Highly recommended, the cuisine is excellent. The owner is an excellent chef who prepares the finest Neapolitan dishes and more. The service is attentive and courteous. If you're curious, a tip: take a moment to listen to the owner's always interesting explanations of his fantastic dishes, always made with fresh, on-site ingredients. The coffee is also excellent!

La farinata è stata un vero colpo di fulmine: croccante al punto giusto e dal sapore autentico. La pizza è spettacolare, con un impasto leggero e ingredienti di qualità. Abbiamo provato anche i tegamini: un’esplosione di gusto! Il tutto accompagnato da un clima accogliente e familiare, che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Un ringraziamento speciale a Stefano e Gaetano, i proprietari: persone eccezionali, sempre sorridenti, appassionate e accoglienti. Torniamo sicuramente. Consigliatissima!

21/06/2025: Simpatico locale, gradevolmente arredato, con una valida offerta di piatti della tradizione piemontese, ben cucinati e ben presentati. Il servizio è efficiente e si beve anche bene.

25/05/2025: The food was average, the only thing we didn't like at all was the fact that there were no prices on the menu but a price range for each category (starters, first courses, etc.) .. obviously in addition to putting the maximum on the receipt, for some things the price was even higher than the indicated range. The lady who served us was kind but we were disappointed by the bill.
