19/02/2026: My experience is based on listening and seeing to be sure: I must sadly say that the product offered here is almost entirely positive, but the customer service and manners are rude and of the worst kind, and I have nothing to add. Other customers, however, confirm this with their reviews.

12/02/2026: February 12, 2026, dinner with my wife and I... we ordered two supplì "al telefono," a piazza capricciosa and one with anchovies and zucchini flowers. Everything was truly excellent, and I say this as a Roman. To top it all, we were "taken care of" by Samira in a truly impeccable manner.

30/12/2025: Historic restaurant, I hadn't been there for a while and I was surprised by the drop in quality of the food served.

19/12/2025: Bar Pagoda is a pleasant spot for a coffee, an aperitivo, or a drink with friends. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, perfect for a break or an after-beach/after-work get-together. Many customers appreciate the view and location (especially those facing the sea or with a panoramic view) and the selection of drinks and light dishes. The staff is often courteous and helpful, although during busy periods, table management and service times can be a bit chaotic. Overall, it's a pleasant place to enjoy a relaxing moment.

08/03/2026: Sunday lunch, Tredicino festival, two families with children. We hadn't booked, but they seated us anyway. We ordered first and second courses, all excellent, and the staff were really friendly. Recommended.

19/01/2026: A place built for young people, it's a bit outdated now. It needs a bit of modernization, the outside area that welcomes cars needs fixing, too many potholes, and the food offerings are a bit disappointing.

27/09/2025: A discovery! A charming place and delicious cuisine with excellent ingredients! The staff were very kind and attentive to their customers. We appreciated the chef's visit, who came to personally ask if we liked the food. Excellent pumpkin risotto and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The dessert featured unusual but delightful combinations. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful. And what can we say about the view of Lake Orta? We'll definitely be back! Congratulations!

04/01/2026: A very characteristic location in the center of Orta. Very structured menu; the appetizers could easily be second courses. Extensive and refined wine list. Experienced, attentive service. Medium-high prices. A must try! 💚

27/12/2025: Very nice place. Really good food. The waiters were kind, polite, and attentive. You might be wondering why only 2 stars. If I could split the rating, I'd give 5 stars to the overall experience, the food, and the waiters, and 1 star to the "supposed owner" (or, at least, the person who pretended to be one). Throughout the lunch, she did nothing but read aloud the negative reviews of local restaurants, denigrating and ridiculing them. She then added a few minutes of criticism and polemic (not at all constructive) towards Villa Crespi, calling it inadequate and complaining that Orta is known only for the Villa and its Michelin-starred restaurant. She also stated loudly that Villa Crespi would delete negative Tripadvisor reviews so it always has good reviews. An unpleasant comment that confirms her intention to take pleasure in denigrating others. That said, if you enjoy good food at a traditional, local restaurant, I recommend it. I hope the woman reads this comment and realizes the bad publicity she's given not only to her competitors, but also to her own restaurant. My only practical advice for the restaurant: the dark bread is good, but the white one is a bit hard. I'd replace it.
