18/08/2025: Sleazy bar! Totally out of step with the other bars/restaurants in Arona.

14/08/2025: BEWARE very clever ordered a scoop of ice cream with whipped cream for a child 3 they show up with a huge cup of ice cream immediately reported the mistake to the waiter.... the waiter speaks with the owner I assume I read the lip writing correctly which says NO WAY result ice cream cup left almost whole price paid in full €9 at the cashier I pointed out they are not interested in anything what can I say lost a regular customer here in Arona..... never mind there are other places that deserve more

14/07/2025: Excellent breakfast: Italian or Americano coffees, delicious sablés, chocolate croissant.. With the amazing view on Orta island..!

10/07/2025: We visited at the end of April. Really unwelcoming, sarcastic, unfriendly, unhelpful unprofessional male staff, especially the older gentleman. I was quite shocked at his grumpy and dismissive attitude. All the female servers were friendly and welcoming though. Food was nice and the view was beautiful. More choice needed for coeliacs please such as gluten free pasta.

13/08/2025: A unique experience Among the best restaurants in Lesa, if not the best. The owner and staff are extremely kind, and the food is exquisite. The house appetizers are highly recommended.

11/08/2025: WARNING This restaurant is a scam. We went there for dinner with two people on a Sunday evening around 9 p.m. There were no other guests in the restaurant, which we found odd. We were greeted by an older woman wearing an apron and shown to a table. There was no menu. Without us realizing it, the woman sold us a two-course meal with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. A young woman served us; she spoke English and was friendly. When we asked about the price, the young woman had to ask the older woman first. €50 per person. This seemed reasonable to us. We were given six appetizers and then vitello tonato. During the meal, we couldn't use the restroom; it was out of order and there was no alternative. Immediately after clearing the vitello tonato, the older woman told us the restaurant was closed. We had to pay and leave immediately, even though our bottle of wine was only half empty. A thunderstorm was raging outside. The woman literally threw us out onto the street in the pouring rain. We want to warn everyone. This restaurant is not okay.

22/05/2025: Nice place with great music nights. Good food and good service.

13/02/2025: We spent an evening there, where a band was playing and we could dance. The staff was friendly, and otherwise it was an unpretentious place.

17/08/2025: The staff was unfriendly and overpriced. Charging 30 cents for a small plastic glass of water after coffee seems like a rip-off to me.

27/07/2025: Had couple of drinks at this place and a fruit salad. It's a pity because the place is gorgeous. However, the person at the bar was incredibly rude. I asked for a drink, I'm sure she made a different one by mistake, and when I politely asked whether she could make the right one for me, she very rudely said it wasn't wrong. If that was the case, she could have at least been curteous since I was not impolite with her. Won't come back.

10/06/2025: Fuimos y nos fuimos por lo grosero que era el camarero, que resultó ser el dueño. Nunca volveremos a este lugar aunque fuera el único abierto.

26/04/2025: Posizione stupenda in riva al lago, specie il dehors. Cibo ottimo e buon vino. Ci ritornerò sicuramente anche in altre stagioni.

26/07/2025: A very cozy and atmospheric place to eat. We sat in the courtyard. The staff was very friendly. The wine was delicious. The kids loved the pizza.

25/07/2025: Nice location right in town on the main pedestrian street. The food came quickly. We had pizza and Caesar salad. In my opinion, the pizza was frozen with fresh toppings and not worth the price. The salad was okay. They charged €2 per person, which I think is too much. I wouldn't come back.

16/07/2025: Small, simple place with a friendly welcome and a passionate chef. Business lunch and à la carte menus.

09/04/2025: Terrible. The photos of 4kg of overcooked, unseasoned pasta say it all. The old glories of the farmhouse disappeared with the previous owner years ago. So did the cleanliness, and the owner is dirty and dishonest, with no prices or receipts. I'm attaching photos that are public on the Facebook page, so they won't notice. I'll let you know the whipped cream, but I'd encourage you to look at the condition of the dishcloth.

26/07/2025: Bene, bravi, veloci, cortesi anche col mio cane. Ottimo il carpaccio che si scioglieva in bocca, una scoperta positiva i carciofi col groviera, idem per la lonza con le pesche. Buonissimi i ravioloni. Non abbiamo preso i dolci, ma il carrello era di tutto rispetto, prezzo onesto.

01/05/2025: Lungo strada con comodo parcheggio. Servizio veloce, prezzi più che onesti. Spesso hanno anche il prezzo fisso con roba davvero buona. Noi abbiamo fatto un menù prezzo fisso e uno no. Il fisso con 14€ abbiamo preso una lasagna super e una trota salmonata con contorno. Bevande e coperto sono a parte. Ma veramente bravi! Sia per l’offerta che per il cibo vario e buonissimo!

15/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance; it was very hot, and the restaurant seemed airy and welcoming. We're local, but we'd never tried this pizza restaurant. It wasn't crowded, despite it being a holiday, but many places were fairly empty at midday, so we went in. The welcome was average. The menu featured many pizzas and few seafood or meat dishes (which made us think they were probably quite well-prepared). We ask if the seafood pizza has a lot of toppings (unfortunately, the opposite has often happened to us lately...), and they tell us that "it depends on the handful, basically how the pizza chef makes it..." (not a very professional answer...). ...so we ask if, out of courtesy, they can make more (if necessary, paying extra). We also order seafood linguine. The pizza arrives with the normal toppings, but according to them, it's double... (we're told they put "2 bags"!?!?).... So when the pasta arrives (already unappealing to look at, not enough fish + poor quality and everything ruined, starting to taste it turns out overcooked and lukewarm, already cold halfway through the plate), we don't dare say anything else because they were already annoyed by the pizza. We eat because overall it's passable... and out of respect for their work. Dry bread (probably cut hours ago), and other problems, individually not serious, but overall not good. The person at the next table gets First the salad and then the main course 🤔... We decide to go pay and then, once we've paid, at least report the pasta problem. As we approach the cashier, we hear them say, "We're the seafood guys"... bah. . We pay, without the pizza surcharge (rebuked as they said it, with jokes in the background), saying that we wanted to report a problem, they all start verbally attacking us with insults even after we've left the restaurant! Unfortunately, sending the pasta back to the kitchen would have been risky. Would another dish have arrived? Another problem? Clearly, we'd bothered them with a simple request about the pizza, imagine what could happen with the pasta. We wanted to politely report a problem, we tried, out of respect for the work they did anyway, but they didn't understand us, they got absurdly angry, after we said that the pasta was unfortunately overcooked and lukewarm (of course, we were told we should have said so immediately...) We really We were shocked! We spoke politely and respectfully, trying to calm things down (5 of us behind the counter against 2 customers!), but the response was only rudeness and insults. My husband simply pointed out the problem, without raising his voice, politely, a simple observation... but there was an unexpected reaction! I only shared our experience on August 15th. 😑 Very disappointing.

15/06/2025: A very central place, a very youthful place, the prices, near the place there is the very beautiful lakeside, the tables are far apart especially for privacy, the manager is always available for anything he can help you

05/05/2025: Cozy and simple place. The owners are very kind. There is always a friendly word for everyone. Quality products. Definitely worth trying.

10/08/2025: It is unacceptable to also charge 20 euros for the entrance fee for 2 small children after we were forced to escape after 10 minutes from the excessive heat due to the lack of air conditioning when outside it is 35 degrees in the middle of summer with the sun coming in from every facade with the risk that the children would feel ill and even the adults who were visibly in pitiful and suffering conditions.

20/07/2025: Excellent summer camp. Designed for children, good food, and fun, varied activities. Important note: 4.5-year-old daughter.

22/03/2025: Friendly staff, 60's hotel very poorly maintained, from the entrance you have a perception of poor cleanliness... breakfast dishes all chipped... For me it was a negative experience

20/02/2025: We changed two numbers. The rooms are cold, the air conditioners are turned on to maximum and cold air is blowing. No reaction from the hotel owner

06/07/2025: Bar pasticceria gelateria mainelli, a place located in the center of the town, pleasant location, on the terrace overlooking the square the climate is optimal thanks to some umbrellas that offer protection from the sun, the prices are a little above average, and the choice is not high. Overall a good place.
